Dog Sitters in Newark, CA

Caroline and her two friends were wonderful house sitters. As soon as they arrived we got photos of our kitty eating and snuggling, and a few more during our trip. Gemma the cat was super contented when we arrived home after 9 days. The house was left clean and tidy and my veggie garden looked well- watered and happy. I would gladly have them stay again, if they’re ever up here in Portland, OR area. It felt so wonderful not to worry about the house, the garden or our sweet old kitty while we traveled.

Habiba and Alex are awesome! They came to watch my 3 dogs in rural Idaho for a long weekend and we could not have been happier! They were very communicative about their arrival and travel and took wonderful care of our dogs while we were gone. They took detailed notes about the daily activities with the dogs as we were vacationing out of cell or internet service. We would definitely welcome them back for our next housesit, and we give them 5 stars!!

We’ve had Brian sit for us multiple times and it’s always been great. The cats are happy, the house is clean and we get regular picture updates!

Peggy was the best pet and house sitter I could imagine! My dog Lucky loves her, she took him for hikes every day and gave him lots of love. She’s very good with dogs and took care of the house well. She was a pleasure to communicate with, flexible and kind, and everything was perfect. Very thankful we found her!

Hanna was great to communicate with and easy going. She took great care of the cats and my house. Looking forward to having her staying in our house again!

Haben and Gordon were superior! Before they arrived, they asked so many pertinent and thorough questions about our dog Nico, I knew from the start they were detail oriented about pet care which is the most important thing for us. When they left we asked them to tell us if/we can snag their help again. Nico LOVED Mylo the seeing eye dog they travel with and he loved her:)

Lydia was a very good and reliable house/cat sitter. We requested that she confirmed that the medication to Moña was given daily and she did every day. Also we requested daily updates which she sent. Kept the house tidy and clean. Cats were well fed and she took time to play with them and make sure they were in good company during our absence. Lydia has a calm demeanor which gave us peace of mind, especially when we saw our very shy cat come close to her the very first day she was here. She understands animals well and respects their space and need to adapt and trust her. There were a couple minor misunderstanding of instruction but once that was clarified there was no problem. We certainly appreciated Lydia and would welcome her back in future sits. Thank you so much, we highly recommend Lydia. Victoria, Yaro, Moña 🐾🐈‍⬛ and Syoma 🐾🐈.

Ruth and Toby took great care of our house and dogs. When any issue arose, they let us know right away and helped solve it. They took our Goldendoodle for hikes and sent pictures of the doggies. Would recommend them to anyone.

Melissa was great! Super responsive and easy to connect with, her staying with the boys really helped me enjoy a weekend away! She sent photos and updates and, upon my return, the house was clean and tidy and the kitties were happily cared for with Melissa's kindness. Wonderful human to stay with your fur babies!

Mona is a fabulous and delightful housesitter in every respect. We are grateful that she spent time with our cat and in our home. She was conscientious in her care of Shadow, and introduced him and us to a petting mitt and catnip which are now enjoyed parts of his life. It was easy to know that Shadow thrived with her caring for him. She communicated thoroughly while we were away, and we returned to a house immaculately cared for. We would eagerly welcome Mona back as our housesitter and are confident that everyone working with her will be well and fully pleased.

Patrick was great. He was prompt in communication and provided a lot of reassurance when I was gone. Me and my babies look forward to having him (and/or Jessica) back!

Meri took care of Burfi while we were out for 5 weeks. Burfi was truly in good hands, he received regular long walks in the neighborhood, took him to the park to play with other dogs. In between Burfi got an ear issues, Meri communicated the issue and regularly put ear drops to get it under control. Burfi had a grooming appointment in between, Meri dropped and picked him up after the appointment. Meri communicated clearly and provided regular updates about Burfi. She also followed up on us on our arrival. She left the place in reasonable condition. Meri left us some sweet treats and flowers to welcome us back home from the trip. That was a very nice gesture on her part! All in all I would definitely recommend Meri and would like to have her back again!
