Amy
Amy & Ed have a beautiful home with a lovely landscaped fenced in back yard where Huxley can go out to pee, check out the perimeter and stand guard regally on alert to be sure no enemy (rabbit) enters his territory :-). Their neighborhood is lovely to walk around in. Beautiful large older homes to visually enjoy and Amy gave a wonderfully detailed welcome packet which helped us to explore the area well. Amy was very responsive to texts of updates, photos or any questions that came up. They were wonderful hosts.

Huxley: We have not had previous experience with the schnauzer breed and if Huxley is a representative of the breed, we are 100% won over. What a sweetie. Independent yet always close by to rest at your feet. Always on alert and watching to protect, but not overly anxious. A calm confident awareness. And the epitome of loyal. He ran from window to window quietly whining for just a minute when his family left, and then quickly settled right in. He seemed to accept anyone who would love him, feed him & walk him. He was super easy to walk. He just needed a little time to move past each grazing bunny in the neighborhood. We (& Huxley) really enjoyed the longer paved trail walks at Beaver Brook and Fresh Pond. Huxley rarely barked and when he did it was a quick alert barking, many times it was just one bark like “I just heard something”. He has an abundance of toys and stuffies to play with and he is adorable playing with them. He loves to play tug with some of his toys. He pulls and shakes but is never destructive - no tearing stuffy limbs off or pulling out the fluff. He sometimes slept near my legs and I barely knew he was there. He was very spatially aware and non-intrusive and to see that little face when you wake up, just adorable! He also never woke us up. I would get up before him and he would stay in bed with my husband a little longer until he got up. He is a well rounded, well adjusted and well mannered young dog who will steal your heart!

Susan
Susan was a great host! She picked me up from the airport and we spent a good part of a day together. Her home was lovely and my stay was enjoyable. The best part was Cleo! She was the cutest kitty ever, so sweet and cuddly. I would highly recommend Susan and Cleo!

Ida
Ida‘ comfortable home is situated in a quiet, leafy suburb of Leeds and easily accessible by public transport.
It was an absolute pleasure to care for sweet Ollie who is a very independent cat.
He clearly loves human company and very quickly he was brushing against me and following me around. He was such good company for me too as I was alone on this house sit.
Ida left clear, concise instructions about Ollie‘s care and routine. Communication prior to and during the sit was first class.
There are many interesting areas to explore, Harrogate, York and the Yorkshire Dales. In the Immediate vicinity there is a beautiful park with a very good cafe. A 20 minute walk through the park brings you to Waitrose.
I would highly recommend looking after Ollie in his beautiful home.

Lisa
The house was very comfortable and easy to maintain. Lisa was very communicative and nice. Max and Kaito were mild mannered, friendly, playful, and they adored little Bunny, who kept everyone entertained. She’s a little dog with a huge personality. The only hard part was saying goodbye!

Laura
I have no words to compliment enough Laura and how wonderful was looking after Bradley! He is sweet, cuddly, and a very calm gentleman ☺️. Laura is a wonderful person, and this certainly reflects on Bradley! I had a great time with Bradley and highly recommend! The area is so nice and peaceful, but the best is Bradley’s company! Laura, thanks for the trust, and when I return to the UK, definitely I would look after Bradley 🥰 again! All the best!

Nicole
We had an amazing stay with Blue. Nicole couldn’t have been more welcoming and inviting, even allowing us to stay an extra night to wait for the weather and roads to clear. Blue was the sweetest guy. Took a day or so to warm up but by day 2 he let me hold him and love on him. The home is warm and comfortable and we felt right at home. The bed was SO comfy and cozy that it made waking up very difficult. We got to meet the kiddos too and the entire family is just as sweet as Nicole. We definitely recommend this sit and would happily sit for them again in the future!
