Caroline
LMO & Eddie were super star kitties to sit. So very well behaved and Eddie was so affectionate and LMO especially at mealtimes. They love to be outside with a watchful eye from their sitter. They love to chase their kibble like prey, how fun! Im sure its the highlight of their day! The fish are beautiful and easy to care for. Caroline leaves super clear instructions printed off for easy, quick access. Phil gives a good tour to let you know where everything is at. Text communication was very good while away when I had questions. Their home is super nice clean and peaceful. You cant beat being on the sunshine coast as well thats for sure! Thank you for entrusting me with your home, fishes and fur family! 💜

Elaine & Ben
Elaine and Ben have a lovely comfortable house in a nice street at North Shields. The sit had to finish on 26th due to illness in Elaine's family so it was just a short visit. Elaine and Ben have three rescue dogs. All of them are lovely dogs with their own personalities. Two of them are fairly big dogs so maybe best for a couple/two people to look after. Elaine and Ben had very kindly said I could take my small dog with me which was good of them. They made a pasta dish (served with wine!) on the evening I arrived and a rather nice orange gin and tonic later on. As I say it was only a three day sit but I managed a quick visit to Tynemouth (plenty eating places although I only stayed an hour so didn't visit any) and Whitley Bay another day - both seemed quite nice with lovely beaches. Thank you Elaine and Ben and Ruben (dog) says thank you too!

I just noticed that I my review of this housesit was not published last year. We really enjoyed looking after this cats’ home while the owners travelled abroad. It was a great neighbourhood, especially the weeks before Christmas as the homes were all beautifully lit with Christmas Lights. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming - we quickly felt at home.

Such a great sit! My hosts have developed a sit guide which covers nearly every question you might have about caring for their pets and home. Lovely home, yard, neighbors and neighborhood. The pets were very "chill". I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to look after Gus and Kit Kat :-)

What a lovely bunch! Bella will happily walk for hours with you without complaint, and nap as soon as you get home to be ready for more later. She's an absolutely star in the car (graceful on winding mountain roads and calmly snoozes in-between stops). The perfect companion for hiking / road trips.
Monty delightfully reached the rungs of favourite cats for me. He's so laid back, affectionate, playful yet gentle, smart, and communicative.
Because some key information was missing at handoff, I do strongly suggest having a Welcome Guide available for sitters. That said, Emily was nice and communication was excellent during the sit. Her partner thankfully fixed something that broke (and answered a few more questions for us) before he left.
The area is pretty great and quite safe. The neighbours are friendly too. Everything you need is within a short walk, and there is no end to fresh trails. I enjoyed finding a new scenic path to explore with Bella for every single walk for the entire stay.

Lizzie and her partner were very kind to us. They explained everything in detail.
It was a pleasure to take care of Frankie and Coco!
