We had the pleasure of having our first zeewoi experience with Val. Since she is a veteran at this, she patiently showed me the ropes before she even agreed to sit for us. She was really, really helpful. Our dog was staying at her bestie's house, so Val had caretaking duty of our parakeets, geese, chickens, and goats. I wasn't sure how it would go with the geese because they can be intimidating, but Val is apparently a goose whisperer! She did text me a lot the first day with questions, but I appreciate that she was being so thorough. We have a lot of different critters that she was managing! After that first day, she had it down. We left our place very clean for Val, and it was very clean when we returned. No complaints. Having a small hobby farm, it's hard to get away. When we have tried to leave in the past, things are never quite like they should be when I get back. But with Val, it was as if I'd never left. She did a really wonderful job taking care of the place and following instructions. I just can't thank her enough for her care of our fuzzy and feathered friends and would not hesitate to have her back again. Don't hesitate to trust Val with your home and pets!!
Kipper and Ripley have stolen our hearts over this past month! They both have massive personalities and are very entertaining! Kipper can sit, lift his paw and speak on command 😂. Ripley is a working dog in the winter but she is so full of beans and has the most loving nature. Eliot had a big soft spot for Ripley so she couldn’t do anything wrong in his book! 😂 Janine and her family were extremely welcoming to us and said they were only a message away. We couldn’t ask for a nicer property to be staying at for the month of July, we got to enjoy the lovely Countryside and take Ripley on walks through the amazing woodlands, which is only a 10 minute walk from the house. The local pub does an amazing Sunday roast as well! If dates come up for this house sit then Eliot and I would definitely recommend looking after Ripley and Kipper as they’re a joy to be around and will give you all the attention you want and need! We thoroughly enjoyed this house sit and hope to do it again in the future.
What a wonderful sit from the beginning to the end. I have just spent 10 beautiful days looking after a very young and adorable kitten called Phoebe. Phoebe is 9 months old and is gorgeous, sweet, sociable, witty, funny, affectionate and playful. She is very special and in many ways is similar to a dog. She is very communicative, expressive and loves to be in company. She likes playing fetch and chasing and being cuddled for hours. Impossible not to shower her with kisses and not to fall in love with this sweet little creature full of life and joy. I had so much fun in her company and now I miss her a lot and look forward to looking after her again. Rachel and Chris are two wonderful people who are very generous, affectionate and kind. They both welcomed me warmly, Chris picked me up at the coach stop while Rachel prepared a delicious dinner. I immediately felt at ease and was very happy to stay in constant contact with them during their holiday and to update them on their little princess. When they returned, it was like meeting and hugging old friends again. Rachel took care of preparing a delicious dinner and all three of us had a great time chatting while Phoebe tried to get our attention. In addition, Rachel and Chris brought me many nice presents from their trip. Their house and flat are beautiful, clean welcoming, furnished with great taste and attention to detail to ensure maximum comfort. Their terrace is a fabulous place to have a meal, read a book and relax. A small oasis of peace. Phoebe and I enjoyed it. Their house is very central near shops and a beautiful park. I would be very happy to repeat the experience and I recommend this site without hesitation. Dear Rachel, Chris and Phoebe, I can't thank you enough. I miss you.
It was a pleasure housesitting and looking after the adorable Harper he's such wonderful company, a real little character. Lisa is brilliantly organised, all instructions were clearly documented in the Welcome Guide which is always extremely helpful. There are great walks near the house, taking a stroll around the park or a walk along Hove Lawns, with Harper is the best way to start and finish the day. A great location, close to Hove Station with handy local shops this really is a great sit if you get the chance to spend time with the "boy" I can highly recommend. Thanks to Lisa and Dave for a lovely couple of weeks ... especially for Harper's company, the tomatoes, blueberries and apples!
We really enjoyed out sit and Emily and John's house. Their pups, Judge and Paloma, are really fun dogs. They're friendly and very mellow. You do however have to be ready to pull on a rope with Paloma for who knows how long and Judge loves his toys. The house is very nice, especially the downstairs shower, and Emily and John are great hosts and very accessible.
David and Cindy were great to work with. They were very communicative and left a very informative binder containing all information I needed to take care of the house and dogs. They also have a beautiful home. I only wish I had been there in summer to be able to enjoy the pool! Lily and Abbey were excellent companions! They are very sweet, easy to take care of and just want to be wherever you are. I’d highly recommend this sit to others.
Jennifer and Steven are the most gracious hosts. They communicated well and left easy instructions. We loved taking care of Eliza and Astrid, they are the sweetest girls. Overall this has been my and my husband’s favorite housesitting experience! We would love to stay here again 🫶🏻
