Denise and Gria were a joy to meet. I was warmly welcomed and given clear instructions, and got to chat with Denise upon my arrival. Gria is such a sweet and well behaved dog who loves going for walks, and to the beach and snuggling. She is friendly with other dogs, although a bit shy at times. Denise’s condo is comfortable and elegant. There’s a lovely balcony to watch the sunset off of and the pool is fantastic. This is a stay in the heart of west palm beach downtown and there is so much to do, yummy food to eat and you are very close to the beach. I feel very grateful that my first trusted housesitters experience was as wonderful as this!
I arrived after a very log and stressful drive. Morven and Mark were very welcoming, Sid was also quick to come out and say hello. Archie sits back a bit she has overview whilst Sid is the front scout! Morven made a delicious, healthy and much appreciated meal. I found Archie warmed up to me quickly and during the day she was around me more than Sid who tends to spend all evening with you. Archie and Sid are though a team and very close companions, both have loving, confident but different personalities. They are fun especially when they chase each other and delight in sitting on your lap, your seat as you get up and being laptop inspectors! I didn't pick them up you don't need to. They are at times chatty which is great. Archie and Sid are easy to look after (they don't go out when sitters are there so keep your eyes peeled when coming and going!) and easy going. The house is large and has a super aspect overlooking Loch Fyne which is about 40 ft from the house. It has a nice foreshore to walk along and other local walks. The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar is 15 mins drive. The Pet/House Sit guide was comprehensive and useful. I highly recommend this sit for cats, house and adventures, Scotland rocks.
