We had a wonderful housesitting experience at Vaish’s home. Duchess and Simba are big, lovable, and energetic dogs. They play well together and are so happy. Since we returned home, my son has been crying because he misses the dogs so much! The house is lovely in a beautiful setting - very safe area and wonderful views overlooking Lake Travis. Vaish and her family showed us wonderful hospitality!
I don’t think there is enough space here to write about how great of a dog Joey is and how lovely Paul and Rosie are. We had a fantastic time in Balham - the neighbourhood is great, really quiet and safe, and easy to get into London if need be. Paul and Rosie’s house is beautiful and we loved spending time in their big backyard. Joey is extremely well behaved and easy to care for. He definitely needs a good 1 hour + walk per day and some backyard fetch time to keep him happy and healthy but we sincerely enjoyed every walk he had with him and will miss him dearly. If we were ever to get a dog in the future we would want it to be like Joey.
Lional and Smeagle were great company and we enjoyed our cuddles and our walks around the neighbourhood with them. Jeanie the cat was very shy but did allow us to give her a few pats. The birds were easy to care for as were the dogs and cat. Thank you Paul for the clear instructions you left us, we enjoyed our stay with your lovely pets.
I had a great time watching Stella and Tammie & Jon were extremely welcoming and communicative! They made sure I felt right at home and had a solid understanding of the area and the house. They recommended a great spot down the road (Javi Experience) which I loved and some spots in the city with vegetarian options for me to try. Stella was such a sweet kitty and I really enjoyed the time with her! She was a bit shy at first but warmed up rather quickly and by the end was always cozying up with me and following me around the house. I miss her already! :’) Tammie, Jon, & Stella were lovely and I’d highly recommend accepting a sit with them!
