This was an all-around amazing housesitting assignment! Charley and Handsome were an absolute joy to watch! Charley is the most well-behaved dog I have ever encountered (no exaggeration!)! She is very well-trained, obedient and easy to handle during walks. She is sensitive and calm in nature- so you must be conscious of maintaining a tranquil energy around her. She is also so sweet and lovable! Handsome is a king- and hilarious in his personality! He takes a day or so to get used to you but afterwards acts very lovable and playful! Handsome is even toilet-trained, which means no litter box to worry about. Both animals are so beautiful inside and out! Marina and Kamal are amazing hostesses who made me feel so welcome and at ease! I am so happy to have spent time with them before they ventured out on their weekend away. I had the opportunity to become acquainted with the apartment and pets while they were still around, and was able to learn a bit about their lives and their travels! They were kind enough to leave me detailed information regarding the care of Charley and Handsome which was very much appreciated, and were always extremely responsive in their communication. The apartment is stunning, peaceful and in a prime location with stunning bay views! There is a beautiful balcony, spacious living area, beautiful kitchen, beautiful artwork and in addition, I had my own guest room and guest bathroom! It was a great stay, thank you so much Mairna and Kamal! xoxo
I had a lovely long sit at Maddie and Giac’s very comfortable home, looking after Bangers & Mash. I fell totally in love with the two brothers. Both have unique personalities, and you can tell they have only known love 😻 Mash was instantly relaxed with the new flatmate (me!) But it took a little longer for Bangers. We all ended up best friends, I’m happy to report. Maddie and Giac are a lovely couple, who made my stay so easy. I arrived to a delicious platter and bottle of wine, which was a pleasant surprise. And they were in touch each day, always available should I need any help. The apartment has everything you could want. I worked from their home on my computer, and was not short of entertainment, including Prime and Netflix. And the internet was very fast. I hope to have a reunion in the future, and would love to hang out with my friends, Bangers and Mash. A five star sit. Thanks guys.
Josh and Logan were very easy to communicate with and left clear instructions for the sit. Tucker is a super sweet pup and very fun to be around. The apartment itself has a nice pool and gym and is very close to a grocery store. Would definitely recommend this sit!
Tony and Alison asked excellent hosts. Their communication was clear and they were always available to answer questions. Tony left the most delicious coffee beans for us to try. He has a real talent for roasting! What can we say about Myf, Winnie and Sydney?! They are all just so delightful. No issues at all. The pups and full of joy and energy. We took them on some big walks which allowed them to get their energy out. Sydney has got to be the friendliest cat we’ve ever cared for. As soon as she saw us or the kiddies she would come up for cuddles. They were each wonderful with our children. The chooks are also friendly! The children enjoyed picking the chooks up and patting them. Fresh eggs are wonderful! Thank you Tony and Alison for a really beautiful week you live a truly special part of the world in a wonderful community. I hope we see you again, Love the Clanfield’s. X
Staying at Georgia & Jonathan's place was just great. Georgia was available to answer my emails about plant care while they were overseas. Their cat Weegee warmed up to me quickly and it was a delight to watch her chase birds and butterflies in the garden. The garden work itself took some time but I really enjoyed tending to the plants (and eating fresh herbs and lettuces!). I felt very comfortable in the home and the neighborhood location can't be beat.
I really enjoyed sitting for Louise and her family. They are great hosts and I felt very comfortable. The house is spacious and has a beautiful view on the lake and the vineyards. The animals are very lovely and affectionate. Even though Luma is still very young, she’s well trained and very social. She has a lot of energy and loves to play. The cats are easy to care for and are very forthcoming with affection and cuddles, especially Truffle. I definitely recommend this sit and would gladly return anytime.
