To say Kent and Kathy were exceptional house sitters is an understatement. They arrived as scheduled and we felt comfortable with them right away. They took exceptional care of Sampson and Jax and kept in touch with pictures and updates. We came home to a spotless home and 2 relaxed pets, and a lovely homemade soup and bread. We give them a 10-star on everything!! We highly recommend Kent and Kathy and hope they will sit for us again.

My time at Diana's house with Frankie was wonderful. Diana's thoughtful hosting was fantastic, and the house was exactly what I needed: a super clean and modern space, a quiet and safe neighborhood, a lovely backyard, and friendly neighbors. Diana also offered to pick me up and drop me off at the train station, which was very nice.

Frankie is one of the best: well-behaved, sweet, and loving. I did not have to work too hard on anything. She could understand and collaborate with me very well. Everything ran smoothly, and we had a great time keeping each other company:)

Anna and Fred’s home was clean and comfortable - there were nice spaces to work from and a great setup for movie nights. They left really detailed and helpful instructions, great recommendations for nearby places, and were very generous to let us use their car while we were there.

The pups are very affectionate and obviously well cared for. They love their morning walk - just be prepared that they have a lot of energy, they’re strong pullers and will try to go after most wildlife and other dogs they meet. They tend to start barking around 5am, and they’re loud barkers, so it would be the best fit if you’re an early riser.

Riri has her favorite spots and toys, she’s independent and will often do her own thing. Ash has some FOMO and seems to get worked up pretty easily. He needs more attention and will probably be by your side most of the time. They generally get along with each other but may need to be distracted or separated if things start getting heated.

Location-wise, it was about a 25-35min drive from central Phoenix, depending on traffic. There are a lot of shopping options nearby and a really nice local coffee shop. We loved that we could walk out the front door and hike up Lookout Mountain without having to drive anywhere.

I'll always remember how cute the pets, Roxy and Scout, are. They are precious. They have beautiful coats and sweet personalities. Roxy warmed up to me right away and more than 12 hours passed before I thought, "Did Scout get locked in a closet?" I searched the house and didn't find him. I sat to watch TV (with Roxy) and then I heard it, "Meow!" Scout was below me, and that was it! From then on, he came out when he wanted food or love. So, don't be afraid if he hides for a while... but do leave the guest closet door cracked open because that's his secret hiding spot. As for Roxy, the only tip I have is to please be careful and avoid plopping on the couch. She burrows in throw blankets and she's a little one, so look before you sit. She really is easy to care for, they both are. ❤️

~ Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful home, Spencer and Corey! I appreciate y'all and hope to return, someday!

Dorothee
Dorothee had everything ready to take care of Oscar. Oscar was very sweet and he loved snuggling and a little treat every now and then. Everyday he would take us on a different walk to see the neighborhood. We also enjoyed exploring the parks in the downtown Salt Lake City area with him. It was our first time to Salt Lake City and we also enjoyed exploring the sights. September was the best weather for visiting the area.

Olive is such a good girl. Taking her on walks in the countryside was like taking a step away from reality. I felt calm, and it was great having Olive lead the way since she knew the route(s). Cath is a kind and generous person. We got to chat a bit when I first arrived and once she came back from her travels. Gorgeous home in a small town with a bus stop not too far of a walk away that takes you into Tonbridge. Thanks, Cath and Olive!
