2 ginger kitties, how fun! The apartment basically has it’s own entrance which is a nice plus and it’s walking distance from cool coffee shops. The apartment itself is great, I mean it has 2 couches, bed, kitchen, living room, windows in every room for lots of natural light. Let me tell you about the kitties, Artichoke is a cuddle monster, she’s a big love and will cuddle all the time. Herald is a silly boy, he’s shy, is super soft and funny, and he warmed up to me slowly. Both cats get the zoomies especially Herald and it’s so fun to watch them be silly goons. Fran has a flair for interior design so the apartment has little trinkets and has a cool feel just to live in. I’d definitely recommend contacting Fran to housesit. Thank you so much Fran!
Enjoyed sitting for Bells, Buddy, Harry and Guinea Pigs. All fur babies lovely. Instructions easy to follow. Great location to relax. Near water. Hayley is very kind and easy going.
This housesit was beyond amazing! The animals were the sweetest and cuddliest babies ever! The house was relaxing and the pool was awesome. Heather and her mom were very helpful with anything we needed!

Brent and Sue were generous and thoughtful hosts! From our first exchanges through the sit their clear communication, recommendations and sense of appreciation was all wonderful. Their well equipped, bright and spacious home made for such a peaceful and fun stay. Pebbles may be a little shy at first but quickly came looking to snuggle or get scritches on her head and face - just not on her back or belly. She'll happily cuddle for a nap with you. She also just likes to be in the same room with you. She likes to be outside a lot but can be called back in by tapping one of her food bowls with a spoon. She's totally adorable and miss her! Being able to sit for such lovely people and a sweet cat is a total pleasure. I'd love to sit for them again!

Amber is phenomenal. No check that; she’s on loan from heaven. No joke! I was on the phone with her yesterday. We had a last minute change in schedule, and she was ridiculously accommodating. So I asked, “How she hides her wings?” She will not reveal! Nevertheless, I cannot say enough about Amber, and Paws & Whiskers and every employee there. Always friendly. Always professional. The prices are better than fair. We have a golden doodle (Kona), who is not the easiest to “fluff & fold”. Amber does it wearing a blindfold, while answering the phone, and writing her dissertation… and fighting ninjas! Am I embellishing? Okay, a smidge. Look, I don’t write reviews unless I feel the need to do so. So, here you go! They are the best. Hands down. Google limits me to 5 stars. I HATE being told what to do. Amber is really good with dogs she does the grooming and Dawn does excellent teeth cleaning every month, she did my previous dog so when I got the current one I took it to her and the first time was $75.00 dollars so I said to the lady at the front is the first time so when I went to pick her up, my dog that’s they said 35.00 dollars and I said no this is the first time so she went back to Dawn and asked her if she new this was my dogs first time and she said YES but the teeth were not dirty at all and because I was starting my baby early in life it was only 35.00 I would of been happy paying her the 75.00 so she blow my mind been so honest about. Thank Dawn you are the best.
Deanna at Paws and Whiskers is awesome ! Used to get my dog groomed with a mobile groomer because she's a rescue and had dog aggression issues when she was younger. A set of circumstances led us to need grooming ASAP so I asked around and was recommended to go here. I was hesitant because I was not sure how my dog would do having never been in a shop. She isn't thrilled when we walk in but Deanna has a nice calming demeanor and Maysie seems to calm down. The entire shop has a nice calm feel and the AC is cranking so it keeps everyone cool on these steaming hot days. Deanna calls me when Maysie is done and I go pick her up/ I missed the call this last time so I was worried I had stressed my dog out by her being there longer. Nope - fears were unfounded. Maysie was having a nap and Deanna had to wake her up! We get so many compliments on how great Maysie looks and the pricing is fair. Deanna is so patient and does a great job Thanks so much! Highly recommend this place.
I took my German Shepard to Paws and Whiskers Spa and I couldnt be happier that I picked this place. They were extremely nice and they did a great job with my friend. I would definitely recommend this place
This is the best groomers I've found out here in newhall. In fact Amber is so good she's booked through September right now. But don't worry there's other great great groomers there.

I cannot express how happy we are with the boarding of our cat, William!! I was hesitant at first, as our cat is our baby. We were afraid to leave him anywhere. As soon as I spoke to Viktoria on the phone for the 1st time, my fears were gone. Our 1st trial run was great, so we kept going. We have now had William boarded multiple times for trips & vacations. Viktoria sends videos & photos to keep us updated on his status. The house is clean & cat-friendly. William is well cared for while there, for sure. We are so very happy with the service and recommend it to everyone! BETTER THAN 5-STARS!

We were very anxious about boarding our little dog Bella, to go on our first vacation since adopting her last summer. She is timid and anxious so we didn't know if she would feel comfortable somewhere else. This place was wonderful! Updated us with regular photos of her and gave her lots of love and attention. We will definitely be boarding again soon! Thank you for providing such a wonder service.
Wonderful job taking care of our dog. Samson is usually scared and anxious about new places, but he absolutely loved it here right away and had so much fun during his stay. I feel that we have returned home to a more confident and happy dog.

If Michelin stars were given to Doggie Daycares, this place would have 3! They are a family-run business with a huge backyard, they offer pickup and drop off, and they take special care of my dog-selective dog. Paola and Daniela have become crucial in my day-to-day routine as a working dog mom, and are an immeasurable part of Hudson’s overall health. It is a huge weight off my shoulders to know that she is being lovingly cared for when I’m at work: fed, pottied, and exercised. Plus, they have the resources and space to keep her safely separated from any potential negative encounters, which is a rarity in LA. As a traveling dog owner who has experienced daycares all over the country, I can honestly say they are the best of the best. And who doesn’t love cute pics of their pets during the day? Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough about Paola and her crew. Being a first time doggy day car mom and just moving from Virginia, i was on a time crunch with starting work and I was very nervous about leaving Sammi with strangers. Paola made time on her Sunday for a meet and greet which put me very much at ease. She and all of her crew are welcoming! Drop offs and pick ups are a breeze and they are so accommodating to my schedule! They send photos throughout the day and seeing my happy smiling pup playing with her furriends all day makes me an extremely happy dog mama and is such a relief that she is in great caring hands and is not alone! They play outside all day in the yard, not in a warehouse like other places I looked at and Sammi stayed in the house when she boarded for a weekend. Communication is great and I highly appreciate the little reports I get at the end of the day of how she played. I highly recommend!!!
I’ve been taking my husky there for over two years for daycare and boarding. They are THE BEST!! Huge yard and trees for shade, trampoline, and an actual home, so when you’re boarding your pup, they won’t be sleeping in a lonely cold cement box. And they are given so much extra love and affection. There is so much love, attention and care put into the environment and the work they do. Bonus-they also offer local pick-up/drop-off on weekdays. I do not trust my furry best friend with anyone else! They also have that magic ability to take the best pics of my dog where she actually looks at the camera!
We’ve been taking our two dogs to Creature comfort for almost 3 years!!! This place is doggy heaven! The play areas are amazing and both Penny and Henley LOVE chasing each other around the giant trampoline that is built into the floor in the main play area! The staff is so wonderful and really attentive to the special needs of our pups! We’d never send them anywhere else!!! #PenHen
We had such a wonderful experience boarding our 5 year old rescue, Teddy, for the first time at Creature Comfort BnB! Daniela was so wonderful from our first conversation. The yard is large, secure, and clean - check out their Instagram to see how happy the dogs are playing in it! They answered all our questions and sent pictures and updates of Teddy (see a couple of them here) throughout his stay. He is much more into hanging out with humans than dogs, but he made some new dog friends and he was so at home. They provide plenty of one-on-one attention to each dog that you can’t get at a larger facility. And they literally open their home to your dog which lets them have a more comfortable experience - like at night when our little guy hates being alone, he got to cuddle with the other dogs and humans! We have no complaints, and Creature Comfort BnB is top of our list for future daycare and boarding :)
Absolutely the best doggy day care and boarding. It is such a relief to have my dog so well taken care of, whether it’s for a single day, or a two week trip. Daniella and Paola are the best and truly love each and every pup. The dogs have a lovely, secure yard to play in, are always well-supervised, and have indoor rest breaks when boarding to avoid overstimulation. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have found Creature Comfort!

I absolutely love Creature Comfort Bnb. I love it so much that I drive from Culver City to take my dog there. I started taking my mini goldendoodle here in the summer of 2022. I was in bind and needed a dog sitter for a last minute trip. I searched around on Rover, but after hearing some horror stories, I was reluctant to use one for this trip. My dog can be very timid, and feared that she might end up with a sitter on Rover who was in it for the money and didn't really enjoy pets. While at the dentist, one of the technicians mentioned that she knew of a place that she'd found, loved, and trusted. She very generously put in a good word for me and the rest was history. Paola, Daniela, and their family take excellent care of my dog, Violet. They even helped her socialize and start playing with other dogs. I know they treat her well because whenever we arrive, Violet hops out of the car and runs in. They are always flexible with my busy and unpredictable schedule and I love their daily update photos of my smiling pup. If you are looking for a safe, loving place to bring your pet, a place where you can vacation with piece of mind, bring your pet to Creature Comfort Bnb. You won't be disappointed.
We love taking our fur baby, Kimchi, here. They always take the very best care of her and we are worry free while she is there. Lots of other happy dogs for her to play with, and always comes home happy and ready for a nap. They also are good with her specific meal and meds routine. Easy to communicate and coordinate with. 10/10 highly recommended.

When we were planning to go away for over 2 weeks we turned to Michelle to stay at our house and take care of our anxious rescue dog, Stevie. We were so nervous leaving her but Michelle was truly amazing throughout the whole process. She came to meet with us and Stevie twice before the trip and Stevie took to her almost immediately (which is not something that happens often). Michelle calmed both our nerves as well as Stevie’s. She is on anxiety medications twice a day which Michelle handled without problems and she was in contact with us daily with pupdates and pictures. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our fur baby was being taken care of with the same level of attention and affection as she would get from us. Michelle is a true gift to the pets she cares for and the families who hate to leave them.
Michelle took excellent care of my three cats while I was away for 10 days. I felt completely comfortable with her in my house after observing her attention to detail, connection to my animals, and professional vet tech experience. The contract presented covered every detail, including natural disaster and emergency care, which put me at ease. She was in consistent contact with me, sending photos, videos, and updates on my three babies. I had such peace of mind being gone knowing she was engaging in play with them, and food/water was monitored. She was committed to keeping them and my house safe. Michelle took great care of our dog when we were out of town for nearly a week. Our dog can be difficult to walk and has pretty severe separation anxiety, but the whole week went great without any incidents. Michelle kept us updated with photos and videos which definitely helped with our own separation anxiety. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is the best pet sitter we've had. We've come home to happy cats each time we've been away on a trip. When one of our cats passed away, and we had to leave town shortly thereafter, Michelle took special care with our other cat who was lonely after losing his friend. Michelle went the extra mile to not only make sure he was kept company and was adjusting OK, but to make sure that the two cat parents who were distraught over leaving him for the weekend knew that he was in good hands. She's wonderful.
We left our two Maltese’s for Michelle to fully take care of. She let us know daily how they were and sent us pictures of both as they were enjoying their time with her.We felt close to them even though we were away.When we got home they were happy and clean and happy to see us.I highly recommend Michelle as a knowledgeable and capable sitter that you can trust with your loving pets.
I am not normally a negative review writer, but my experience with my 2 special needs dogs and Pet-Tech Sitting by Michelle was awful enough to warrant doing this. It's actually difficult to know how to structure this, as there were so many issues. 1) She couldn't get pills down for our dogs. She's a vet tech. Doses were missed, and she was constantly texting me about it, rather than finding a solution. 2) I paid $3,500 for a week of service (7 nights and 8 days). She was still taking other pet sitting appointments, and was gone for approx 8.5 hours on our second night away. She had made us aware she was going to a concert, but not for that duration of time. Had it not been for our neighbors to feed and give them pills (and clean up after them), it could have been a disaster. 3) She thought that one of our dogs, who had just had surgery, was in pain and asked to take her to the vet. I arranged it, she then threatened to charge me extra to take the dog to the vet. When Mindy was ready to be picked up, her response was 'I can be there in an hour or 2.' 4) On our final day away, we had agreed that she would leave at 6pm. Then, in the middle of the night before we were meant to come home, she texts me saying 'oops I'm leaving at 1pm', thus leaving our dogs home alone for 9 hours. I reiterated our agreement, to which she did not care. Again, if it weren't for our neighbors helping out, we would have been screwed. 5) This is general: she would send VERY aggressive and long text messages, quite often. Her manner of communication was terrible, and I honestly wanted to leave the trip early as I had zero trust in her or her ability. Please, if you are looking for a sitter, don't hire this person, especially if your dogs have special needs, have just had procedures, etc. If I could give her less than one star I would.
Michelle was wonderful. She kept up with us and sent photos & videos of our babies playing. They were SO happy when we got home, which means they had a wonderful time when we were gone! It's nice to know they are in good hands, and with Michelle they are!

He also understands that being a loving dog owner is NOT enough. We the owners, need the training to make us good handlers, good leaders for our dogs. My daughter found K9 Intuition from a review. We were desperate to find help for us and our 2yr old American Bulldog. K9 Intuition and Stefano taught me how to be in control of my dog which in turn makes me enjoy him that much more. I’ve had my husky for 6 years now and even though he’s wild and slightly aggressive, I just assumed that’s how his breed was. My wife and I are currently expecting and I knew something had to change with his behavior and I did not want to get rid of him. After doing some research, I found K9 intuition to be a very reasonable and friendly environment for me to bring my dog. I chose the 5 sessions which were 1 on 1 but still had a feeling in the back of my mind that this may not be enough training. On the first day of his training, I couldn’t believe how fast Stefano was able to take control and show me how to correct old behavior. I was able to take each lesson he taught and apply it at home. The leash and e-collar, which were provided upon sign up, were a tremendous help at home, walks, in public etc. At the end of the training I was beyond confident that my dog was completely changed for the best. Stefano really has a way with dogs and will teach you how to really communicate with your dog who currently doesn’t listen to anything you say. I would recommend K9 intuition to anyone who has trouble with their dog in any way.
K9 training changed both the life of my dog and mine. It was perfect investment. I got so much knowledge and skills how to communicate with my pet. He is 4 years old , mix of Lab and German Shepard , 100 pounds. Sweet guy but stubborn. I don’t feel stressed anymore when I go for a walk with him, he walks next to me , calm and cool, no pulling . K9 Intuition is a fantastic dog training facility and program. The experience of working with the trainer and owner Stefano was responsive, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. This has been the best and most successful training experience for me and my golden retriever Tucker. We had tried all the local puppy classes, group classes, and training videos, but nothing was making a difference in his resource guarding behaviors and poor puppy manners. We finally found the resources and education that we both needed at K9 Intuition through their 5 week 1-on-1 training. Tucker loved his weekly visits to the ranch and looked forward to training. As a result of using their services, my relationship and communication with my dog is so much stronger. I strongly recommend K9 Intuition for their dog training services. Thank you Stefano!
A month ago we couldn’t take our GSD to the park without him pulling, lunging or barking at other dogs due to his anxiety. With us always being at the softball fields, this was a problem. He would see my daughter on the field and he’d want to run to her. He’d see softballs being hit and he’d want to chase them. Before K9 Intuition, we took our GSD to another trainer that had us give him treats as a reward for good behavior. The problem was she never helped us fix his anxiety so we were just giving him treats hoping that’d fix the problem. I don’t remember how I came across K9 Intuition, I just thank God I did. After the initial free assessment, I learned more with Stefano than I did with the previous trainer. We decided to go with the 5 week program. After the first lesson, our GSD was walking without pulling! We continued working with Stefano and using the tools he provided. After the 5 weeks, our GSD is a complete different dog. He walks great at heel! He can now sit through a softball game without wanting to chase the softballs! He will stay by our side and not go anywhere until we release him. And his anxiety is very minimal. I know we have to continue to work with him but we now have to tools and understanding thanks to Stefano’s guidance. The best thing we could’ve done for our GSD, and us, was taking him to Stefano at K9 Intuition. Hands down the best investment!
We brought our 1.5 yr old Australian shepherd mix (Whiskey) here for training mainly because he was not good on a leash and showed aggression to anyone outside of our immediate family. At our consultation Stefano already started giving us helpful tips we were able to implement before our 1st session. Over the 5 training sessions we saw a big improvement with Whiskey. We learned that a lot of his issues stem from our own doing and that learning new behavior for the dog and the owner takes a lot of discipline and practice. While Whiskey was the primary reason for us seeking help, we also needed behavioral training for our stubborn little terrier Remy. Stefano had us bring her along on the last 2 sessions mostly to work on Whiskey’s issues on the leash. He could have easily suggested that we book another 5 sessions with Remy, but you can tell that he had our best interest in mind because he gave us a lot of advice and things for us to work on with Remy on our own time.
Stefano and his team are absolutely the best thing that happened to me and my dog. Before a friend referred me, my dog had hospitalized his sister twice, been kicked out of EVERY doggy day care in town, and had gotten into scuffles with three other dogs.I had hired two trainers and one aggression specialist with no lasting progress. Veterinarians and the rescue he was adopted from had strongly suggested behavioral euthanasia as his best option. I was desperate to help my dog. I needed a miracle. I got it. After doing board and train with K9 Intuition my dog now gets compliments on his behavior from neighbors and merchants we visit. He is calm and able to manage his impulsive moments because Stefano not only trained him- he taught me how to create the environment and structure my dog truly needed to thrive. This program is worth every dime. I thought I needed a miracle- but what I needed was a balanced trainer that believes in the science and the art of dog training. I cannot recommend this program more highly. They saved my dog’s life.

She would lunge and bark at other dogs and was difficult to control. She is now a real pleasure to spend time with. We were in a hopeless situation with our rescued Pit bull. He had shown aggression towards other dogs to the point of jumping over dual 6 ft fences and grabbing our neighbor’s dog right in front of our neighbor and shaking the much smaller dog. Thank God the dog survived after a very hefty Vet bill, which of course we paid. We came to the conclusion that the liability was too great, and needed to find a rescue to take Zeus. We were broken-hearted, and time was running out for Zeus. This is when a dear friend of mine suggested sending Zeus to Board and Train with K9 Intuition. She told us about Stefano and the miraculous rehabilitations that she had witnessed. It honestly seemed too good to be true. We put Zeus on the waitlist the next day. The day arrived that we took Zeus to the Board and Train, where he would spend a month working with Stefano. This was one of the hardest days of our lives, to leave him there not knowing if this would work. Stefano gave us updates often, and always gave us hope. When the month was over, and it was time to pick Zeus up, we were very nervous. When we arrived at K9 Intuition and saw Zeus with Stefano, we couldn’t believe what we were seeing. Zeus was so responsive, obedient, and calm. Stefano shared that Zeus by nature was not aggressive, but felt very vulnerable and anxious. He just didn’t know how to channel his energy properly. Zeus has been home now for a month and a half, and he’s not going anywhere, thanks to K9 Intuition. We are forever grateful to Stefano for his amazing gift!
We are new to the area and were anxious to let someone watch our dog while we were gone. Elizabeth and the team at Loving Care Pet Sitting made the process very simple and comfortable. We know our dog is well taken care of while we are out of town. Elizabeth communicates with is while we are away to ease our nerves of leaving our dog. I cannot recommend Susan’s Pet Boarding and Daycare enough! For years, I have been taking my large, easily-excited (and dog reactive) 80lb American Bully to them every time I leave town, and I always leave them with peace of mind knowing that everything will be okay. They are experienced, know what they are doing, are easy to reach and effective effective communicators, and check in with me every so often to let me know how things are going. It is a tremendous relief knowing I have a good boarder to take my dog to when I need to leave town!

JANICE GOES BEYOND WHAT IS REQUESTED OF HER. BEING A NEW KITTY OWNER I WAS TERRIFIED OF LEAVING MY LULU ALONE. I HAD HIRED JANICE TO JUST COME AT NIGHT. HOWEVER KNOWING HOW I FELT, SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY EVERY MORNING TO CHECK IN AND MAKE SURE SHE WAS FINE. SHE PLAYED WITH HER EVERY NIGHT AND WHEN MY CAT DIDN'T EAT MUCH JANICE EVEN BROUGHT SOME OF HER OWN FOOD TO SEE IF LULU WOULD LIKE IT.. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JANICE AND BARKS AND MEOWS. I HAVED USED THIS COMPANY TWICE NOW AND HAVE IT SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER AGAIN. GO ON VACATION KNOWING YOUR BABIES ARE WELL CARED FOR!
