Jessica was wonderful to work with, from a phone call to the time I arrived to sit. Loki is a great cat, and will watch TV with you if you let him, otherwise he's out in the sun on the porch. The house is extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet. Jessica was responsive to questions.
It was a pleasure to look after Greg and Jess's sweet cat Zoey. She was a bit shy and low profile at first, but warmed up in a big way. She was no trouble at all, and very affectionate once she got comfortable with me. Their condo is in a convenient location, a couple of blocks from Commercial Drive. I really enjoyed the sundeck (so did Zoey!). There's a lovely rooftop deck as well. Communication with Greg was easy. All in all a very nice sit.
Carol and Jack are the most warm and welcoming people we have been lucky enough to meet. We were able to arrive a few days early to meet them, get orientated with the house and area and hang out with them. We were so glad, as they’re lovely people. We fell in love with Gypsy, who is the best dog you could ever hope to meet. She’s snuggly and playful. She was wonderful with the children, and we just had the best time with her. We miss her a lot already. Sundre is a lovely town, with so many friendly people. The kids took full advantage of the community pool, and lots of play parks. A great location to explore Banff, Canmore and the Rocky Mountains. We would 100% recommend, and we hope one day to visit/sit again.
Highly recommend! The host: Ashley was excellent! She was communicative and made me feel like I was staying at a bed and breakfast. She wrote an excellent welcome guide and gave me an in-person tour so I knew everything about the house. She seemed to like ocasional check-ins during the sit but didn’t need constant updates. The house: Cute, two-bedroom home with a compact, easy-to-manage floor plan and a large backyard. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance and the lake/hiking/downtown is all a short bike ride away. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe. The cats: I fell in love with these cats! Mickey is adorable, energetic, and loves to play. He’s still a little shy about being picked up but he loves hanging around near you. Johnny is super chill and loves to cuddle.
Everything about this sit was great! Obie and Rhu were the sweetest pets. Loved all the local recommendations from Tristan.
I had the pleasure of caring for Kelly & Niks bffs over a weekend, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Communication with them was seamless, the listing accurately reflected the situation, and their dogs Ripley & Finn were an absolute delight to look after. We checked in through out the day which reassured me that everything was going smoothly. I would gladly sit for their adorable pups again anytime.
