Chris and Gill are fabulous hosts. They are extremely personable and attentive to seeing we were all set in their home before they left on their vacation. We were able to share a wonderful meal that Gill prepared the day we arrived. Chris showed us around the area so we were familiar with what we needed for ourselves and the doggies.( Ted and Dot) Their thatched rooftop home is beautiful. Snuggled in a little small English village, their home and village is full of character. The backyard is large with a wonderful garden of vegetables. We enjoyed fresh tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers for some fresh salads, yum yum. The village has a small grocery store we were able to use to replenish consumables. An old church from 1700’s has Sunday service. Ted an Dot are absolute darlings, and stole our hearts. Well behaved dogs with abundance of personality and each dog unique in their mannerisms. They love their daily walks, as there are many different walking paths and trails to explore. We were without a vehicle so we walked everywhere. Ted and Dot are smart dogs, and gave us many many laughs and snuggles. At the end of our time we had a good bye meal with Chris and Gill, a final walk with the doggies. The good bye was too soon. We would definitely sit here again. If we are in the area we would definitely stop by to say hello and visit.
It was a great experience caring for Moki and enjoying the outdoors in Park City. Sandra and Dave were fantastic and provided the names of neighbors to help out when needed. The directions for Moki's care were very clear. I would come back in a heart beat.
Bob and Tracy are lovely people, very kind. , the house has a dream kitchen if you love to cook, was nice and clean and in a friendly neighborhood . Coco is the sweetest little button ever. Very well behaved, loves affection and it was pretty hard leaving her. If someone has an opportunity to sit, you’ll quickly know what I mean.
We’ve house sat for almost 15 years and Barbara’s beautiful home is by far one of our favourites. Sesame is an absolute delight to look after and was as good as gold the whole time. The house and grounds where a dream to tend to. From picking fresh apples and figs every morning to relaxing in the pool in the afternoon mixed with Barbara’s wonderful charm and support from local friends makes this sit an unmissable one.
Risa is a warm and laid-back host. I appreciate that she took the time to give me a tour over video chat prior to my stay. It made me feel less like I was entering a stranger's home. Her home is cute and cozy, with plenty of personality--artwork and graphics to explore and chuckle at. Paloma is a gentle cat who walked right up to me for pets the moment I met her. We were good with each other, and snacks were the highlight for both of us during our days together :) I'm grateful to have been able to explore Pittsburgh for the first time in such a cute setting with a lovely furry friend. I will definitely be reaching out when I'm in the area again!
Absolutely wonderful people and dogs! We had a great time here, thank you to Linda and Al so much for being awesome humans. Crockett, Willy B, Spice, and Pumpkin were some of the nicest animals ever. Would definitely recommend , hope to see you guys again soon!
