Jenny and Luca were wonderful sitters. They were very compassionate, communicative, and reliable. They took great care of my cat Noah, sending me pictures of him and updates about him every day, which put my mind at ease. I came back home to a happy and relaxed cat. They also took good care of my apartment, watered my plants, and kept everything tidy. I highly recommend Jenny and Luca, especially if you have cats.
Enzo is such a great dog and Amber's home was very lovely as well. We walked daily around the neighborhood, plus walks to Carlsbad Village, the beach, or Agua Hedionda lagoon. I must say Enzo was one of the best dogs I've ever had the pleasure to walk on a leash. There were a few supplements & medications with his meals, which were all easy to administer. I appreciated the organic/natural products in the home and Amber was really easy to get ahold of to answer any questions throughout the sit. I would love to watch Enzo again in the future!
David and I enjoyed the house sit a lot. Excellent communications with Chris. Rizzo and Rusty are chill and love to snuggle. It's our first time house sitting for a blind dog but Rusty is very easy to take care of. The house is situated in a beautiful creek side neighborhood. We love the atmosphere here. We would love to come back next time!
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Rosie and Freddi in Jackie's beautiful home. We had the most attractive and comfy rooms, a really super sit. We were taken for a lovely meal, and Jackie had made us a delicious coffee cake for our stay. Rosie was initially shy with us, but after a couple of days she joined in with cuddles along with Freddi, who is bolder. The village is very quiet and peaceful yet only a short drive to Wells, which is a fascinating City with so much to see. Thank you so much Jackie.
If you like history this house is a must. Caroline and Marin are delightful and welcomed us into their beautiful and intriguing home with open arms. The village has a pub and two shops …the deli across the road has some delicious temptations. The four labradors are adorable. All the dogs love attention, being petted and receiving affection especially anytime we sat down outside or of an evening watching TV. Bean, Frog and Luna spent many hours in the garden playing fetch with balls and bones. They all brought their various items back for a repeat. They all play well together and are very respectful of Toby the eldest. They all greet you first thing in a morning super excited for the day ahead. They love their walks we kept them on leads as we were only here for a few days. To any future sitter please don’t be put off by a pack of labs. They’re obedient, playful and very loving. We loved Caroline and Martin’s home and looking after the labs. It was a privilege being able to spend the time here.
This was a short but wonderful sit! Jarett and Rachelle are very friendly and welcoming. They showed us around the house and gave great instructions on feeding and caring for Das and Sadi. They took us out to a great neighborhood restaurant/bar for dinner the day of our arrival and made us feel very comfortable in their lovely home. Das and Sadi were hilarious! Curious and full of energy for awhile, then crashed out and lazy! It actually snowed one day - Sadi's first snowfall! She had a blast playing in such wondrous stuff! Das is huge, with an equally huge bark, but truly a gentle giant! He and Sadi were amazing with our little 7 lb dog, Casper. We highly recommend this sit and would love to take care of Das and Sadi again when we're back in the Austin area! Thank you Jarett and Rachelle!
Luna is super sweet, but a typical teenage Lab with lots of energy. She needs long walks twice a day (we were told this ahead of time). She is trained, but still pulls hard on the leash and is a little hard to manage on the hilly, cobblestone streets. Our walks led us to beautiful views of the river/ocean just a five minute walk from Ginny's place.
