Steven and Maomi are phenomenal, easy to care for kitties with great personalities and a knack for naps! They were a blast to get to know and kept me company during my stay. They both enjoyed to nap beside me as I took meetings, it was the cutest thing ever! In my experience Maomi is much more of the personable and communicative one who I mostly engaged with. Steven kept a lot to herself but eventually as days went by she became more comfortable and enjoyed lots of cuddles and play time. This was my very first house sit through trusted house sitters and I’m so glad that it was. Breck and Hannah were incredibly responsive to all messages and took the initiative to keep me in the loop. They laid out all the tiny little details for me which made this house sit such a breeze! They were incredibly communicative, kind and helpful. Their home is also soo gorgeous and in an area that is PERFECT and reliable for anyone without a car. Such an amazing housesit, would definitely house sit there again. 💗
We had a wonderful experience not only with Dexter but with his family as well. They were so helpful, kind, caring and giving, making sure we were comfortable. Letting us use a vehicle and all the amenities in their beautiful home! They let us stay with them extra nights and were beyond generous and excellent communicators, best hosts ever! Such amazing people and Dexter is forever in our hearts. Would highly recommend if there’s ever an opportunity in the future. Thank you for trusting us in your wonderful home and with Dexter. I absolutely recommend this sit. Had a wonderful first sit for Clemmie. She was affectionate, playing fetch, being groomed and lapped up any attention before disappearing into nature for the rest of the day and often not reappearing until after dark. I felt totally at home from the word go. Susan (Jane) and her family were warm and welcoming and I was very comfortable sleeping in the loft room. They invited me to stay overnight before their early departure, which I joyfully did. The location has nearby bus stops on a number of different bus routes for exploring the city and beyond. As I said, I totally recommend sitting for Clemmie.
We looked after Mezcal in Nic and Ilana’s stunning house right off Newington Green for a brief weekend. The flat was spacious and comfortable, and had lots of outdoor space (which we sadly didn’t get to use due to poor weather). Nic and Ilana were warm and welcoming, and let us drop our things off in advance of them actually leaving. Mezcal is so insanely cute and friendly - if Nic and Ilana don’t get her a cat agent they’re missing a trick. She is as friendly as she is adorable and let us pet her right away. She had an auto-feeder so we were just on litter duty which was very easy. We hope to come back again!
We loved staying with Bacon! He barked for 30 seconds as we first came into the building to protect his home and then immediately switched to just wanting to cuddle the whole rest of the time. The neighbourhood is very cozy and convenient, close to many coffee shops, TTC, and a big grocery store. Communication was easy and very pleasant with Allison. And the apartment itself is very nice and comfortable and a great atmosphere all around. Wonderful experience!
Ellen and Gilly are the fantastic guardians of sweet little Jimmy, a kitty full of character and affection. Jimmy will gladly snuggle and stay with you while you work or relax in the sitting room. He is especially interested in what's happening in the kitchen, which I found very endearing! Jimmy is a great companion, and makes you feel very loved in Ellen and Gilly's AMAZING flat. Their flat is truly a home, filled with so many great books, art, and cute items everywhere. I felt immediately comfortable and so enjoyed the area and the many delicious bakeries, restaurants, pubs, and cute shops in the area. E&G are very communicative, responded to all my questions, and offered great recommendations for the area. I felt very supported and hope to see handsome Jimmy soon and would love to stay in touch with Ellen and Gilly!
