It’s one thing to ask a sitter to watch your home and care for your pets knowing they can just text or call you if they have questions or run into an emergency. It’s another to ask a sitter to do that when you are out of contact 90% of the time! Amanda was the perfect zeewoi to put my mind at ease knowing that both my husband and I would be unreachable most of our time away. She is self-sufficient, intelligent, organized, astute and observant, and after our initial phone chat and intro when she arrived, I felt 100% confident she could handle any situation that might arise. Amanda took great care of our 3 cats and was also fantastic with the 3 foster kittens we are currently caring for in my office. While I had asked her up front if she felt comfortable with the additional care responsibilities, I still felt bad adding more to her plate as the kittens do require more time/attention than our 3 adult cats. Fortunately, she was willing to take on the task and I’m so appreciative of that. She was communicative leading up to the stay, asked thoughtful questions regarding the home, cats, plants, etc, and sent cat and kitten updates even though we were off the grid much of the time. She left the house and my car immaculate. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda for house-sitting & pet-sitting opportunities. She is a perfect house-guest and a delightful human! We would love to host her again in the future, whether she is sitting or not!

Joanna and Tanner were absolutely wonderful! They arrived ready to hit the ground running. they asked great questions and were obviously dog lovers. Argus and Annie took to them immediately. The daily pictures were so appreciated. It was obvious the pups were thriving in their care. when my housekeeper came during their stay, she texted me “not to worry” that “they were taking great care of the house and the pups”. They were able to troubleshoot and adapt when the internet went out in a storm and managed Argus’s storm anxiety like pros. I would have them back in a heartbeat!

Valerie went above and beyond our expectations. She took excellent care of our three cats, each with different needs. Jerry needed insulin shots twice a day. Joey likes to spend time outside, and then there's Riley, the enigma. Valerie kept me updated daily on all three and sent pictures and videos. An unexpected situation came up, but Valerie was quick to keep us informed, and we were able to work together to come up with a plan. You can't ask for a better pet and house sitter.

Housesitting for Mary is great! She is easy going and communication is straightforward. Her house is spacious, comfortable and has every amenity you could possibly require. We spent a wonderful three weeks with Boots and Spookey’s company including their morning greetings and evening treats at TV time. They are both loving and sweet. There are plenty of beautiful trails nearby. In particular we enjoyed the canal trail which is walking distance from the house. We hope to return and see the kitties again in the future!

I had a fantastic time at Tricia and Jerry's beautiful home overlooking the waters near Campbell River. Tricia and Jerry are very graceful and kind hosts and I felt immediately welcomed at their place. We communicated very smoothly and regularly before and during the sit. Their living space is very comfortable with a beautiful and tasteful decoration (including a magnificent flooring) and the view on the Salish Sea as well as the mainland mountains is absolutely stunning. It was also great to be located at the end of the road, with an easy access to the beach. I was lucky to experience the area after a snow storm that made the immediate environment and the background mountains a Winter wonderland scenery. Maggie the kitty is a very sweet lady enjoying a lap in the morning/evening, some good strokes, moments of playfulness with her toys, a morning brush and the magical feeding time! I would be happy to come back to experience a different season and discover Tricia and Jerry beautiful garden in bloom. Thanks a lot for everything!

Mason is so sweet. Bryce's place was a quiet and clean place to work remotely from. His house is close to a lot of cool shops and restaurants. I would love to sit Mason again!
