I gave Trusty Tails a call and Dana was able to quickly help out and take such good care of Maya, she was amazing!! She was so sweet and took the time to follow up with me to make sure I knew Maya was okay. I am so happy with Trusty Tails and would 100% recommend them!

I had a stellar experience with Trusty Tails. They were professional, helpful whenever I had any questions, and always prompt with the visit update emails. My kitty's caretakers were just wonderful--kind and patient with her. The only time I ever had an issue, they addressed it head-on while taking responsibility, apologizing and providing a free service to make things right. Though my friends here (in Europe) take care of my kitty now, I wish Trusty Tails had an outpost here too!

Nese is amazing and we are so happy to have her in our lives. She is a wonderful person and looooves my dog as if she was her own. I trust her completely with my pup. Caleesi has been over for daycare and also overnights. My pup loves going there and has such a great time playing with other dogs. We always get pics and videos of her visit and it's very comforting. Nese has been caring for my soft coat wheaten terrier for almost 7 years! She goes above and beyond for her clients and their animals and always makes herself available to help last minute. My dog can be difficult but she took the time to work with him taking him on little adventures around town to get used to being in stores and around other dogs. I haven't had anyone else care for our dog since we met Nese and imagine she will be in our lives for a very long time!! Nese has been working with our family for over two years. Our rescue dog can be a challenge around other dogs, yet Nese is able to pack walk her with half a dozen dogs without issue! She has cared for our French Bulldog for six years and helped to teach her out to walk on a leash when she was a stubborn puppy. We am so blessed to have found Nese on a Saturday morning while in the doggie playground. My fur baby is shy and fearful of people but she immediately trusted Nese. We contacted her to do an initial consultation. As expected Madison, our fur baby, was protective but Nese is a professional and knew how to communicate with her and walked her with confidence. Ever since Madison loves and trusts Nese. Nese has always gone above and beyond with putting on her rain coat, keeping me updated, making sure the apartment wasn’t too hot and giving her water. During the quarantine she always took the precautionary measures to keep Madison and I safe and healthy. I am moving out of state so it saddens me to change Madison’s dog carer. I am very thankful for her service and I highly recommend her. You can tell that dogs are life. She is patient and caring.

If my dog could choose where to live forever, it would definitely be at All For The Wag. Honey has been going there for almost a year now, and she absolutely loves it. Every time we arrive, she can’t wait to get inside and play—she literally pulls me toward the door and does her best to sit patiently while I check her in. Jen and Briant are incredibly trustworthy, and they’ve given me complete peace of mind about leaving my girl in their care. What sets All For The Wag apart is their outdoor play area, which Honey absolutely adores. She spends her days running around, having a blast, and comes home completely tuckered out. As they say, a tired pup is a happy pup—and after daycare, Honey is both tired and thoroughly happy. I also appreciate the flexibility they offer with full-day and half-day options, which fit perfectly with my schedule. I honestly can’t recommend All For The Wag enough. The best daycare! The most important thing to me with a doggy daycare is that I trust the owners. All for the Wags is run by the most lovely husband and wife who are true dog people. Briant used to train my dog when she was a puppy, so when I heard he was running a daycare, I knew my puppy Winnie would be safe there. Winnie is always so happy to go and they post the most adorable photos throughout the day so I can see what she is up to. The photos really make my day and show that she is getting a lot of attention and is in a safe environment. They recently moved to a new location and there’s so much space. If you’re a crazy dog mom like me, you can trust that All for the Wags will take good care of your dog.

I can’t say enough good things about AFTW. The staff are incredibly caring and always respond quickly to any questions I have. My puppy Sabre absolutely loves it here, and I feel so much better knowing he’s in such great hands, especially on hectic days when I can’t give him all the attention he deserves. He’s obviously happy and excited to go, and passes out immediately when he got home :) They consistently send plenty of adorable photos, and they’re there every single day, including holidays, which has been such a lifesaver!!!!! The only place I trust to leave my pup. Were recommended by friends (and even strangers at the vet) and I’ve already recommended it to my friends. Thank you for being a second home for Sabre and for giving me peace of mind every time he’s with you!

As a new mom going back to an office after having worked from home the past 3 years All for the Wag is a lifesaver for our energetic Bernedoodle. The facility is great and the pick up drop off options are awesome especially as I do not have a car. Their daily pet journals are always a treat to be able to see what Ollie is getting up to with all his friends. You can tell the team really cares about the dogs and their scheduling portal and communications makes coordinating Ollie’s stays super simple. If you’re looking for a safe space for your pets in Jersey City look no further!

All For The Wag has been a life saver and game changer for our Bernedoodle pup, Henry. He joined at four months old for daily Playcare and occasional Sleepovers. Jen and Briant are not only welcoming and responsive, but also helpful in giving advice on raising Henry through their experience. Jenn and Briant are quick to respond via text, their platform for booking is easy to use and their facility is clean and organized (the white floors!). The daily pictures bring us afternoon joy and Henry comes home exhausted and ready for a nap and ready to get back at it the next day. As a puppy, it has helped socialize him to other dogs and his play skills have improved over time. From apple picking to costume parties, he certainly lives the good life at AFTW!

As a first time dog owner, I was incredibly nervous about overnight boarding when I had to travel for work. I am SO lucky to have found Briant and Jenn through their puppy training class. They are both so passionate about what they do and incredibly caring. Roman absolutely loves going there! They're very communicative and share photo updates each day during his stay that put my mind at ease. Their pickup/drop off service is a life saver. 10/10 recommend!

We are so thankful to have found this place for my dog to go to Playcare. The owners Briant and Jen are kind, love animals, and are trustworthy. Getting the daily photos is one of my favorite parts. I’ve noticed a positive change in my pup’s behavior since he started going and can’t wait for him to enjoy more time there with his friends.

Ahmed and Wendy take incredible care of Charlie for daycare and boarding. They do pickups and drop offs, which make our lives so incredibly easy and Charlie is ECSTATIC when he sees Ahmed for pickups. When charlie is there for boarding, we always wake up to updates and pictures about how he’s doing, which makes us so happy. We always know that he’s safe and happy there and we’re so happy that he’s with a family that treats him like their own. We cannot recommend Tamed Paws enough!!

My golden retriever puppy Ollie loves going to Tamed Paws! We've sent him for three days so far, and we've already signed him up to go at least two days per week from now on. Ahmed is always so kind and full of energy when he drops Ollie off and picks him up - the level of service is unreal! My boyfriend and I love to see the daily photo journals, too - he's a pretty shy boy sometimes, but he's really come out of his shell with Ahmed and Wendy :)

Tamed Paw's provides excellent day and overnight care for our puppy. We have been using their services since relocating to Jersey City from Manhattan and could not speak more highly. Reliable, communicative and caring. Our puppy looks forward to going every morning when they pick him up.

Tamed Paws is the best in the business. Ahmed and Wendy are both awesome. They are quick to reply, send us constant updates (and pictures!), and are always on time for commitments. Our little guy Karl LOVES when Ahmed comes to pick him up and runs to the door every time (which, if you knew Karl, you'd know that is rare)! He has stayed there several times for boarding as well when we are out of town and loves it every time. We always joke that Tamed Paws is Karl's second family.

Tamed Paws is the most amazing place to send your pup. I feel 100% comfortable putting my dog in their hands. They are always so flexible, accommodating and friendly. My dog absolutely loves to go there! He does daycare a few days a week and whenever I am away he goes to stay with them and I know he is treated as if he was their own pet. I can’t say enough good things, I would be lost without them!!

I would be completely lost without Tamed Paws. Ahmed, Wendy and their staff are amazing. It’s hard finding reliable pet services when you live in a city and I’m so happy they were recommended to me. My dog isn’t the easiest to deal with at times being overly excited around people. But the control that Ahmed has over her and all the dogs at their daycare I never worry about anything cause I know she’s being exercised and well taken care of. Unlike other daycares in the area the dogs aren’t put into a playpen indoors, they’re allowed to run around in the open air and really enjoy being dogs. When my dog comes back home she is exhausted. Tamed Paws loves every single animal that is put into their care and treats them as if they’re apart of their own family. I can’t recommend them enough.

Our puppy Nathan had a great 3 day stay at this lounge made good friends with the staff...we recommend it and we will definitely come back if needed...plus next door the have grooming place if you need to have your pet groomed...

The absolute best daycare in the area for small dogs! Idk how they do it but it does not smell inside at all and the pooches (12 max) have a super comfy environment to stretch out in. Dogs are individually walked and fed and are supervised at all times. I really couldn't ask for a better environment for my lil guy

Love this doggy day care. It's a single room with velvet couches and takes more or less only small dogs (max of 20 lbs I think, but could be a bit higher). James (the owner) is great with our pup and the pup loves going there--he knows when he's on the block and he starts running toward the day care. It's not cheap but it's not exorbitant either for what it is. This is also one of the few doggy day cares that I've encountered that actually walk the dogs during the day (3 times a day I believe). I highly recommend it and we feel lucky to have this as an option so close to our place.

I have taken 2 of my pups to Executive Dog Lounge in Jersey City over the last 1-1/2 years. The doggie day care was a godsend for me. I have been very busy as a single father and needed to place my dogs in a responsible and attractive day care spa. The owner James is focused on his commitment to give the dogs the best possible services until owners come to retrieve them at day's end. In addition, the spa is clean and nicely decorated and the dogs appear to get along famously.

I want to start by saying thank you so much to James for taking care of my beloved Toby! From the second I entered the Executive Dog Lounge to moment I had to basically drag Toby out of the daycare (he loved it there so much she did not want to leave!), the entire experience was professional, kind and relaxing! My friend was visiting, and we wanted to leave Toby somewhere safe while we hit the city for the weekend. I asked around my neighborhood of well-trusted dog parents and everyone raved about the Executive dog lounge and the care James gives to all the pups there. From Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, my heart was calm knowing my Toby was being properly supervised and loved. (Their version of boarding, Modern Boarding, was perfect for us!) You can see there is genuine care in the daycare from the way James interacts with all the dogs and how the dogs react to him. James will always be trusted with Toby! Sent from my iPhone

My pup, Leah, loves coming to Executive Dog Lounge! I can tell she has loads of fun with the other pups there and that she is well cared for. She gets scheduled walks & feedings, all the playtime she wants, and new BFF's. She always comes home ready to go straight to bed and wakes up fully energized for another awesome day with friends! I love that the daycare doesn't have the basic business hours; I can drop Leah off before work and pick up after without having to rush. The decor in this place is beautiful, always smells great and is super clean (all of which reassure me she is in good keep).

My Shih-Poo is very much well taken care of by both James & Samantha! He has horrible separation anxiety and they are extremely good with him. I know he has a little feisty temper but what I love about them is they take the time know each and every dog and know how to work with them including my fur baby! Even if you aren’t signed up for a corporate month or monthly plan I strongly reccomend bringing in your fur baby at least a few days out of the month so they can go and socialize with the other pups!

My wife and I accidentally found Executive Dog Lounge while we were looking at places to board our puppy since we were going on vacation. We were very reluctant to do this boarding thing, but then found the Executive Dog Lounge and James the owner. After speaking with James for while, he urged us to continue our walk to the place we where originally going to check out and see what that was like. We quickly walked back to James and requested his services. It was the best decision we could’ve made for puppy. James and his staff treat not only our dog, but all dogs as if they were their own “kids” as he refers to them. His knowledge and his staff are undeniably the best when looking to board your puppy/dog. We had complete peace of mind while in Mexico, not only because of the updating & reassuring emails, and random videos of our puppy playing, but because we experienced firsthand how happy & tired he was after spending a couple days leading up to the vacation in his “doggy daycare”. I don’t often write reviews, but if you adore your dogs like we do, you will not be sorry if you make the choice to Board with James and his staff. In full disclosure, I am writing this review not as past customer, but as a neighbor of the Executive Dog Lounge, and it's owner James. I've had multiple unpleasant interactions with James, most not worth explaining publicly. Our last encounter however, is worth expressing to the rest of our neighbors and his potential customers. My mom had been visiting me for a couple days and was sitting outside of my apartment building, in her walker, when James crossed the street to take pictures of her with his cellphone. When she asked why, his response was "Do you live here? I have seen you here for 2 nights". When told that he had no right to do that, he responded "It's a free sidewalk". I felt deeply hurt and disrespected when my mom explained this to me. No one visiting our neighborhood deserves to be treated like an outsider. Jame's rudeness infuriated me, I filed a police report and also argued with him in defence of my mom (which he also chose to take video of). The anger has since subsided, but I still think it's important to speak out on this issue. We should all hold the people and businesses in our neighborhood accountable for the ethical treatment of others. I have no tolerance for bigotry and neither should anyone else. This isn't the first time James has disrespected one of his neighbors but, I would really regret not doing what I could to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. I hope you will take this into account before giving James your business.

Jason and his team are amazing! Without hesitation, they are able to deal with our crazy schedule, and accommodate our EVERY need! Not only is POOCHi reliable and easy to reach, but they are beyond friendly and kind!! Their GPS tracked walks, pictures they send, and comments they leave letting me know how the overall walks went, are above and beyond what I could have ever expected! There are so many options in the city when it comes to dog walkers, and choosing the right people, and company, can be daunting, but I know for a fact that I made the right choice with POOCHi, and I know our pup agrees too!!

Jason and the Poochi team are amazing. We recently picked up our first dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy in April and were very anxious about using a dog walking service. We spent an extensive amount of time interviewing different people and then came across Poochi. The entire experience with Poochi was extremely professional, from our initial meeting with Jason to the updates we regularly receive from the team of unbelievable animal lovers. Poochi does a great job communicating with detailed walk reports and pictures in the app which I regularly checked while at work. The Poochi team was integral in raising our puppy and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that wants top-quality service.

POOCHi is an excellent dog walker and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They make the scheduling process so easy and their app is great and user friendly. I love how I can chat directly with the dog walker on it and I get alerts with pictures and a report card after every walk. I trust them completely and am very glad I started using them. We have been using Poochi for 2 months now and couldn’t be happier! Jason and his team of trained walkers and trainers are so loving, knowledgable and their communication is outstanding! The app that they use is so user friendly with GPS tracked walks, loads of pictures from each walk and a full written report card each time. My puppy Wallie has so much fun with them throughout the day while I am at work that I never feel guilty. He’s always jumping for joy (literally) when he sees them and they are doing a fabulous job on training him on the leash, elevator etiquette, tricks ect reinforce everything we work on with him at home. Jason has given us amazing recommendations as Wallie has grown through all stages of his life which has been really helpful as well. Love Poochi so much, look nowhere else!

Jason, founder of POOCHi, and his team are exactly who you need taking care of your fur babies while you're at work. Jason's standards are incredibly high (higher than your own, trust me) and he requires his team to complete several training courses prior to working. While pet knowledge and safety skills are important, what I love most about team POOCHi is that THEY ARE ANIMAL PEOPLE - genuinely. I practically handed over the keys upon meeting Tyanna at our introduction touchbase - Tyanna immediately engaged with our 8 week old puppy. Added bonus is that pet parents receive a full report with each visit - including photos. The technology that Jason uses is top-notch and super user-friendly. Honestly, I could not have better things to say about this entire team - we feel so lucky to have partnered with them in raising our fur baby! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

POOCHi is an amazing service! It was difficult for me to find a company that I could TRUST with my dog and access to my home, but POOCHi makes me feel so comfortable. My dog LOVES the team and looks forward to being taken out everyday! They are very professional, responsive and willing to cater to both mine and my dog's needs. No detail is too small, and they are overly attentive to anything I request; no shoes in the apartment etc. Also, because I use the service daily, I am able to have the same walker which makes it more enjoyable for my baby. Their app is easy to use from scheduling, to visit recaps with GPS tracked maps and photos, to itemized billing. I can pay with my credit card, so I no longer have to go get cash from the ATM - huge time saver for me! And they donate a portion of each walk to the ASPCA - everybody wins!

I can’t say enough great things about POOCHIi! Jason is very passionate about dogs and ensures that every detail is perfect whether Tanner is with him or someone on his team. Their interaction with Tanner, communication with me about his day, and even welcome home flowers after being away and thank you notes!! I completely trust them!! Their easy scheduling also makes it simple to add walks so I’m never afraid to grab a drink after work, go to a client dinner or grab brunch on the weekend causw I know that they will be able to cover me at home and take care of my little man.

Couldn't recommend enough! Urban Dog (Hoboken Location) was able to take in my dog, Poppy, on relatively short notice. She got the best haircut she has gotten in my 1.5 year of having her. She smells so good and is feeling so soft. They were very accommodating by letting Poppy stay after for day care (cage free environment) where she played with other dogs. Prices were very fair and less than what I was paying in NYC when I lived in Manhattan. Picture does not due the grooming justice but trust me!

We have been using them for several years for walks, grooming, and daycare. I have nothing but great things to say and the fact that my dog literally pulls to go towards the groomer when we get close says it all. The owner is fantastic and her staff are all great to work with.

Jaymie the owner and many of the staff are fantastic! Most important they love the pups. My Charlie loves going there for daycare and home stay. Sometimes I get him groomed before picking him up. I feel he is safe and well taken care. I highly recommend Urban Dogs for their services! Oh and a note, they are the only doggie daycare with an outdoor space for the pups to enjoy, too.

The best dog daycare and grooming around JC and Hoboken. They take care of every dog who’s coming and make sure they always get their meals on time. The place it’s awesome, no kennels and the dogs are free to play during the whole day. Groomers are great, they’re very kind and patient with their furry clients.

I am the most annoying over-protective dog mum to my pug so really picky on who grooms him. I absolutely LOVE the team at Happy Paws. Anna did an amazing job- thank you! Cupid is so happy!

Millie loves coming to Happy Paws-she can’t run in the door fast enough! We are thrilled with the grooming and daycare services especially since there is an outdoor space. Getting to see Millie on the Instagram stories is great. Jaymie and her team are incredibly attentive and really care for the pups! Scheduling and payment is super easy via an online portal. I can’t say enough good things!

Would highly discourage anyone from sending their dog here. The staff is untrained when it comes to handling and managing dogs. There is high employee turnover so it seems they will just hire anyone they can get with or without experience. On any given day they have way too many dogs per person to safely monitor them. Also on any given day the volume of dogs in the space is overwhelming and creates an all around bad and dangerous situation especially during drop off and pick up. Edit: Our dog was kicked out of this daycare because another dog had attached/provoked her, but luckily she was actually able to defend herself. So the instigating dog is still running around there. Just something to note for prospective customers. The owners response to this review I guess goes to show they aren't open to constructive criticism and will divulge person details. So I would not expect anything I called out to change anytime soon. Hoboken is full of dog daycares, so do yourself a favor and go somewhere where you know your dog is being watched by trained staff in a safe environment.

I love Happy Paws! They’re the only facility in Hoboken that has an outdoor space. Jaymie and her team are always incredibly nice and caring to the dogs. Whenever I tell my dog she’s going to daycare she gets super excited, she loves this place! I also love being able to watch her play on their Instagram stories.

We absolutely LOVE Hoboken Happy Paws!! They have treated us like family since day 1. We bring our goldendoodle here and she has an absolute blast. Now we can’t even walk by here without her pulling us to want to go play with her friends inside. She also gets her baths and grooms here. She always comes home smelling amazing and usually exhausted from playing so hard! Guaranteed 12 straight hours of sleep. Highly recommended!

My two dogs have been going to Paul and Terre for two years now and they are AMAZING! My older dog has severe anxiety and I had countless dog walkers refuse to walk her before I found Paul and Terre. They immediately knew how to handle her anxiety and keep her under control. My dogs absolutely love going on adventures with Paul and Terre whenever I’m on vacation. They often go to the beach or the park. The prices are very affordable for daycare and boarding, especially compared to other companies in the Jersey City area. One morning, the dogs were at my home alone and managed to open the front door and escape into the street. I was watching terrified on my security camera, but I was about 30 mins away from my house. I called Paul, who was closer to my home, and he immediately drove over to grab the dogs. I can’t express how grateful I was and this is a perfect example of how committed they are to the dogs in their care. They go above and beyond and I fully trust them with my pups.

I can’t recommend Paul and Terre enough! Our dog Charlie has been going there for about 5 years now and everyday I know he is well taken care of and will come home tired out after a day of playing. We have used them for daycare, weekend trips to the beach and overnights and always have a great experience. Their rates are reasonable, especially for this area, the pickup/dropoff service is a huge benefit and they’re both just really genuinely great guys to get to know. We look forward to many more years sending our good boy here!

We don't have enough good things to say about Paul and his care of our Benny the Pitbull. Our Benny is our family. Paul has been taking care of Benny over 6 years - Benny loves Paul and Paul loves Benny. Paul is responsible with his care - from ensuring that all dogs are up to date on vaccinations, rabies, etc - from making sure they are getting the right amount of exercise to letting you know tips if they are showing any sort of pain or behavior issues when with him.. He offers door to door pick up service as well. Benny also boards with Paul when we travel and he comes home happy & usually in better shape! Paul is consistent, professional, reliable and caring. We were stuck in a flash snowstorm once and could not get home to Benny - Paul drove there and picked him up. We know that he loves Benny as much as we do - and you can't ask for much more when it comes to dog care. Paul - thanks for everything!

We have been sending our dog to daycare with Paul and Terry twice a week for about a year now, as well as boarding him with them when we go out of town. They are are amazing with him! Our dog loves people but gets nervous about being away from home. However, Paul is so great with him that he actually gets excited to go when we tell him Paul is on his way. When we first started daycare they took their time to introduce our dog to the other pups to make sure they would all get along, and when we board him they text us updates which are really reassuring. I definitely recommend them to anyone whose nervous about leaving their dogs with someone else, they are great at what they do!

Paul is amazing! I have 3 pups, all with special and specific daily needs. Paul has a very special way he connects with dogs that is uncommon and unique. My dogs hoot and howl when Paul swings by to pick them up:) PTDW allows me the freedom to go to work and not worry if I need to stay late or otherwise. I know my dogs have been picked up and dropped off, safely, tired after a day of daycare😎

Paul has been caring for our dog for 6 years! His doggy daycare is the best we've ever experienced. Paul is a loving and gentle pack leader. My pup has been going to Paul since she was 6 months old. He treats her as if she is his own dog. He works hard to identify and help correct any problem behaviors and has shared his insights with me so I can continue to make sure she stays safe and well adjusted to city life. Paul and his brother Terre are the best! Like most dog parents, I am obsessed with my pup, Sosa, and I am quite picky about who takes care of him. I went through a few places in town before finding Paul and Terre. They obviously really care about the dogs, and I feel totally comfortable sending Sosa for daycare or boarding. They offer pick up and drop off, which is super convenient for me and they are very accommodating with scheduling requests and changes. Honestly, I can't recommend them enough. Truly good humans.

Paul and Terre are amazing! When I went back to the office, I was worried about finding the right day care for my dog, but Paul and Terre have exceeded my expectations! They offer the perfect service and really care about the dogs. My dog loves them and I know he is in great hands and having fun! My dog has a lot of energy and has actually been calmer since starting day care. I have also done boarding and they took great care of him. I could not be more happy with them!

I am so grateful to have Paul and Terre to watch my girl. My pup goes to daycare 3x a week which is a life saver while I’m at work (especially since she’s very active!). The days I’ve been home for pick up she runs to them so I know she’s excited to go play for the day! Ive also done boarding several times and it is the ONLY place I would leave her. Paul and Terre sent pics/updates/took her on adventures and, most importantly, I know they genuinely care about her. I can’t say enough good things about them!

We have two pups with opposite personalities - one loves everyone and the other is extremely fearful and some times fear aggressive. Jason is amazing and walks both of them harmoniously every day. Our fearful dog is extremely scared of men but Jason was able to gain his trust and was the only male apart from my husband our pup allowed to give him belly rubs. The scheduling process is also very easy, highly recommend!!

Jason has been walking my very goofy and energetic hound pointer mix Zina for several months now and he is wonderful. He really cares about Zina and Zina simply adores him- she waits by the door for him to arrive in the morning. I trust him to take good care of her and recommend him to friends.

Hernando is absolutely wonderful with our dog Charlie! He has a great rotation of dogs during her walks and we have noticed improvements with her leash behavior since starting walks.

Hernando and Jason were booked to walk my extremely energetic, 15-year old Lab mix. They were both timely and professional and love dogs. Hernando gave us some pointers on how to help our girl sleep better through the night and Jason took Hemi on longer walks if the weather was good. Two true professionals that I would trust my dog with.

Tony and Jeff are great! They always work with me on my rotating schedule to make sure my pup, Missy, gets all her needed walks. Jeff is always on time and provides timely updates on how the walks are. In addition to the walks, Jeff always gives Miss a treat and a pet. I'm happy that I found a dog walking service that treats my pup as if she's their own.

Very grateful to find Jeff and Marcelo after I moved to JC in Jan. Our Koda is a shy guy so we wanted to find a consistent dog walker that he felt comfortable with, and Marcelo was great with him from the beginning. In July we went for our vacation to Canada and America, while visiting NYC with our dog we were looking for daycare. City Tails NYC responded quick on our request by email. Our labradoodle Mick was very welcome so we had our hands free to explore the city that never sleeps. Mick had two great days and the staff took very good care of him, we are thankful. We send both our dogs to City Tails regularly. The staff is amazing - Joel and his team send regular updates to us and really care about our dogs (we'll often run into Joel and his staff on the street and both of our dogs will get incredibly excited when they see someone from City Tails). They are also excellent with overnight visits. We couldn't recommend City Tails enough.

Our dog, Tofu, has been a client of City Tails for years for his weekly daycare visit and sleepovers when we are out of town for weekend to multi-week trips. We know Tofu loves his visits because he gets some pep in his step on our walks over and pulls us to City Tails when we get close. Sometimes he doesn't let us take him home! Joel and his team are very attentive and we trust the team to take care of Tofu! We love the photo updates as well, especially the holiday photoshoots! Thank you City Tails!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joel and his entire staff. Not only are they always willing and able to work with my unpredictable schedule, they also always put me at ease when I leave my dog here knowing she is in the absolute best care as if my dog was their own. I have been taking my dog to City Tails for day care and overnight boarding for several years now and the only thing I have to worry about is if my dog wants to come back home with me! I have a Border Collie / Aussie mix (read a HIGH energy handful) and the staff is constantly engaged, providing many daily updates, photos, and videos during her stays. The dogs are taken out often and get ample socialization with, not only the other dogs, but with the staff too. This is not always the case at other at other facilities in the city, or out of the city for that matter. I just recently had to board my dog for an almost 2 month stay and I would never think twice about boarding my dog anywhere else after such a positive and stress free experience. Joel and his staff truly love what they do and it shows in how they care for all the dogs that are under their care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After being called back to in-person work much earlier than expected during the pandemic last winter, we were so incredibly lucky to find Joel & the City Tails NYC crew. Zephyr attended 3-5 days/week throughout the winter & spring, and boarded for three nights in June. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and environment at City Tails NYC. In a city where family-owned and neighborhood businesses seem to be disappearing, City Tails makes owners and dogs feel like they are a part of the family. I received several photos and videos each day of Zephyr at day care, as well as updates on his mood/behavior. He could not WAIT to go each day which, given that he has some pandemic-puppy attachment issues, is truly saying something. If you're looking for a safe place for your pup where he or she will be cared for and comfortable, look no further than this amazing business.

We have had the absolute best experience with City Tails. The family feel was there from the moment I requested more information online and got a phone call from Joel the owner. The Bass family has poured so much love into City Tails that it feels like much more than a daycare. Last week Michelle saw Louie walking on the street and stopped us to say hi- it just means so much to know they care. My dog Louie (check him out below smiling at daycare) absolutely loves going and has the best time. Joel sends us pictures and videos of him playing and it always makes my day. It’s clear that all of the staff treat him like he is their own dog. I use the service where they bring Louie home for me sometimes, which has been a life saver on numerous occasions. The communication with Joel is so easy and he is incredibly responsive. The facility is always sparkling clean. We did Louie's puppy classes with Kate Perry Dog Training at City Tails and it was really great that they have that partnership and Louie got early positive associations with the space. This place is just the best! We love City Tails and would highly recommend it to all!

It actually pains me to write this review as when you find a hidden gem in this city, you want to keep the secret to yourself and only tell friends and colleagues looking for the best of the best and trust your recommendations... but that would be a disservice to Joel and his team that run City Tails as they are not only the most reasonably priced daycare/boarding center in the village, they truly make your dog feel like family! She is always excited to go "see her friends" and I feel no guilt having her board for a week as I know she is having the time of her life - and all the pictures I get daily prove it! I also have a hectic and spontaneous work schedule that involves last minute trips and changes, and the staff is always accommodating and understanding to my needs - no words of appreciation can be said to explain how grateful I am for that. If you live downtown and need quality dog care and services, City Tails is your one stop shop!

City Tails is a very professional and reliable resource.
