Daniel was a very accommodating host. To begin, he agreed to split the cost of a rental car with me during that stay, since I did not have transportation while in San Diego. That was very generous. In addition, my travel dates were beyond the housesit dates, and Daniel graciously permitted me to arrive a few days early and stay a day afterwards in the guest bedroom, which had a comfortable bed and an adequate desk for work space, as described. His house was accurate to the description and I enjoyed bbq'ing in the backpatio. Be prepared that Daniel will make sure you know his procedures, since it was clear he wanted Luke to have the same routine as if Daniel was still there. This entails a few extra several steps when you go out and leave Luke home alone. These were a few extra measures to take care, so just be prepared. And when taking Luke out, Daniel is particular that you use his commands, a similar walking rout and the electronical collar. For me, this was a first, but I could understand he cares a lot about Luke, and wants the housesitter to do things the same. Just be prepared for that. Lastly, the neighborhood was safe and there was a cool path that went behind Vista High School you can take Luke for a walk. Thanks Daniel!
