Janis exceeded my expectations as an owner. She provided very specific instructions that allowed Tilly for a smooth transition to the sitter. She provided suggested walking route maps and supplies so I didn’t have to buy groceries right after I arrived. I also appreciated her replies to my daily updates with her own pictures of her family vacation, which I loved as a fellow traveler. Janis is very conscientious and prepared. Tilly slowly warmed up to me with Janis’s tips. We started with the meet and greet where Janis walked Tilly and I provided treats to Tilly. When the sit started, I’d pet Tilly to her comfort level and over time she’d start pawing me for more pets and generally spend more time in the room I occupied. Eventually, she’d progress to resting next to me on the couch. Tilly does love her walks. She will relieve herself at the start, which is nice because she is not constantly stopping to mark territory. Tilly walks in a harness on your right side. Once she had a quarter mile under her belt and felt confident with the sitter, I found her unfazed by other walkers, bikers, and pets. The house is very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a guest room on the second floor. The kitchen is well-equipped and stocked. The back patio overlooks a local park and there are extensive trails around Erie to explore. I was able to pop into Denver, Boulder, and Longmont to explore. I definitely recommend sitting here.
House sitting for Janet and watching their two dogs Brute and Claude was great. The dogs were super sweet and warmed up to us right away. We enjoyed taking them out to the open space to let them run. The house was great as well, very comfortable for our family and a great location to experience all that Steamboat Springs has to offer. Janet and her family provided excellent communication throughout and did an excellent job in outlining their housesit needs and expectations.
Maria and Dave were great communicators. They picked me up from the train station and showed me around the house before leaving. It was a bit of a last-minute sit, and it worked out really well. They have a stunning back garden. The cats are sweet and easy to care for. They mostly kept to themselves except for meal times. The house is just a short walk to town and the train station. I would definitely do this house sit again.
I had a great time staying at Ann’s place and caring for Alexander. He’s a very sweet and easy cat. Ann’s house is cozy and lovely, and the neighborhood is quiet and residential with a number of nice parks and coffee shops nearby. I’d highly recommend this sit!
I thoroughly enjoyed this sit! Tracey and Sharon were extremely well organized and shared one of the most easy to follow and well organized Welcome Guide/Information packets I've seen to date. Sharon warmly welcomed me to their house and was kind enough to have a delicious dinner ready for my arrival. They have a lovely updated home in an older neighborhood near all kinds of shopping. She showed me the ropes with Jackson and Milo and was a very kind, considerate and welcoming host! I enjoyed hearing a bit about their life adventures over dinner. And even better, Milo and Jackson were the best! Jackson, their rescued orange tabby, is fairly new to their household, but was such a sweet boy who enjoyed knowing you were there, but spent a good bit of time on their lovely screened porch. We all enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch! Jackson liked to check in and enjoyed his pets, and occasionally climbed up on my lap, but was also quite independent. Milo, their dog, was also super sweet and just overall a lovely boy! He was great on the leash and we enjoyed our walks through the neighborhood! Milo was also very independent, but I definitely got the sense, he was happy to have me there and often lay nearby while I was watching TV or on the computer. He slept in the bedroom with me on his dogbed and sometimes even put himself to bed before me! He is very well behaved and easy to spend time with. It's obvious Sharon and Tracey love their babies and take wonderful care of them! Even though Tracey and Sharon were dealing with a difficult family situation, they were very easy to communicate and work with. I was glad to be able to help them out during a difficult time and hope our paths cross again!
10/10 experience! Camille was very communicative and helpful. Any question I had was promptly answered. I felt very at home, and even the doormen/neighbors in the building were welcoming. Lily is the sweetest. She’s definitely got that kitten energy, so make sure you set aside time to play with her! She loves being brushed and pet and likes to run around and be chased when she has the zoomies. She’s white haired so there’s definitely some shedding but Camille has lint rollers & laundry facilities!

Cortney and her team at Waggity are so wonderful. They are caring, responsive and dependable and care for my 15 year-old dog as if she were their own. They write detailed notes and take the cutest pictures to show how she does on her daily walks. As my dog has aged, her needs have increased a lot and they have shown such kindness, patience and adaptability in supporting her, even going as far as carrying her as needed. When I go out of town they do overnight stays and take such good care of her, while providing me with regular updates. It's so reassuring to know she's always in such good hands with Cortney and her walkers.
Waggity is great! They show such care and attention to our dog. And take great pictures! He always has the best time and it’s great to know he gets time to roam.

Waggity LLC is by far the best dog walking service I have ever used. And really they are so much more. They take great care of my Maltipoo -- he squeals with excitement every time they arrive. After experiencing a few negative experiences with other pet sitting/walking companies, we were so excited to discover Waggity! Their team has taken the time to get to know our reactive, anxious dog and go at his speed. It’s a shame more pet care business don’t put the time and energy into training their teams like Waggity does. I have had the best experience with waggity! I feel like Cortney truly cares about my dog, Izzy, and has taken the time to get to know her and her needs. Izzy can be reactive on walks towards other dogs, which made finding a dog walker nerve-wracking for me, but Cortney has made me feel that Izzy is in great hands! Definitely recommend!

The WAGGITY crew is the best of the best. We had a really negative experience with a dog walker abusing our dogs in our house so gaining our trust was a feat. These ladies have done so with grace and patience. We are so grateful. We can’t imagine what our weeks would look like without them and our dogs truly love them.
Cortney Thompson has walked our chocolate lab, and stayed in our home with her while we have been away, for the last 5 years. She is one of the most professional, caring, committed dog caretakers (and people) I have ever known. When we travel we know Lucy is completely safe and loved, and we don't know what we would have done had it not been for Cortney more times than we can count!
We are so grateful for Annie's service while we lived in Waltham. The website is so easy to use to request services and I loved the daily emails after her visits. While my cat is skittish of everyone, Annie took the time to make sure she felt comfortable during her visits. She also came over a visit before our first visit to get to know us and our cat. Annie was my sitter for my cat Brendan when I temporarily lived in Waltham for work. Annie took care of Brendan on a few last minute urgent occasions. Once I was gone for 2 weeks. She really saved me. She’s a lovely person who truly loves animals. When I returned from being out of town Brendan always looked content and litter box clean. You and your pet will love Annie.

My husband, pup, and I moved to California literally over a year ago and still talk about how wonderful Tail Waggerz is as a day care and boarding facility. We have not been able to find anywhere in LA that comes close to the Tail Waggerz experience. The staff is SO caring and sweet. The facility is wonderful--indoor and outdoor spaces. And the doggie/staff crate-free sleepovers are exactly the environment my dog wants if he's not at his own house. We miss you, Tail Waggerz!!

My husband and I booked our mini dachshund puppy for his first grooming appointment at TailWaggerz and we are extremely happy with their services! The front desk person was very friendly and showed us a video of our puppy playing with another dog while he waited to get picked up. The price was reasonable and our puppy came home smelling and looking great (with a very festive St. Patrick's bandana!)
We are so grateful for Tail Waggerz. Our dog has been a regular at daycare since he was a puppy and always comes home tired and happy. The staff is super friendly and knows the details of our dog's day. It's also incredibly convenient that they have grooming attached in the back. Usually our dog only has his nails trimmed. Yesterday we had the very unfortunate experience of having our dog sprayed by a skunk. The smell was obviously horrible. We brought him in for grooming and the job they did with him was amazing. We are so grateful and relieved.

I couldn’t be happier with Tail Waggerz. I did what most people do. Take to the local Facebook community forum and ask for opinions on where to take my very shaggy golden retriever. I had been going to Petco , which was great, but they never had availability sooner than one month. I got an appointment next day due to a cancellation. Filled out the online intake form , had my vet forward vaccinations and we were off. He was nice and trim, bright coat, smelled like a million bucks! Price was amazing and less than Petco. Can’t recommend Tail Waggerz enough.
Truly couldn’t be happier with my experience thus far, after switching my pup to TW after four years at another daycare in brookline that I knew my dog loved, but I was highly uncomfortable with the people who worked there and the frequent turnover of staff. I feel confident dropping Honey off everyday, and she feels safe and so excited to see her new favorite staff and dog friends. Her boarding experiences have been seamless and she comes home SO happy, as well. She is a tail wagger everyday after tail Waggerz. She didn’t go one day this past week, and I had to deal with her mini tantrum about having to stay home with me. But I digress… Everyone who works there is extraordinarily professional and nice. Robyn, Megan, Abbie especially, and of course everyone else are so friendly and fantastic with dogs. I appreciate that both the staff and dog pack at TW is tailored to meet everyone’s needs, including owners’. What a fantastic place and community to be a part of.
This place is the best! We were taking our dog to a different facility before because, being a Boston Terrier puppy, he would not know when to stop playing and we felt going somewhere where he would be in a private room for a few hours between play times would be a good fit. After a few months going there we noticed the quality of the service began to go downhill... They forgot about more than one meal, causing him to develop a new behavior (started nipping our feet when he was hungry, which has been hard to untrain) due to being put in his room without food. Gladly, we found Tail Waggerz! First of all, all employees are clearly dog people and seem to really enjoy their jobs! They are attentive, keep me informed of everything that happens during the day, and he LOVES going there. Price is fair and there is a good discount for packages. They are always posting great pics and videos of all the fun the dogs are having on Facebook. Have not tried their grooming services yet but I heard great things about them. Keep up the good work!

My dog Winston LOVES the dog scoop & so do I! He was going to a different daycare since he was a puppy, but they ended up closing and I needed a new place. I did have to go on a waitlist for him to get in, but it was totally worth the wait! The staff are so attentive and Winston loves them! Even overnights, he did totally fine. I am definitely a "helicopter" mom, so I like to know how my dog is doing when he goes to new places.. They were so nice to me and always kept me in the loop and didn't get frustrated when I'd call or email asking how my dog was doing in the beginning. Now, they have my full trust and I know they take the best care with their dogs as I've seen it with my dog! Highly recommend, even if there's a wait to get in it's TOTALLY worth it!!

We have been taking our dog to The Dog Scoop for 7 years, they are amazing! They have been wonderful and accommodating and are just the best! We love them sooo much and so does our dog!
Our dog always came back tired and happy which is FANTASTIC...however, from the owner's perspective, I have decided to take my dog to a different facility. More often than not, the daycare charge would come in incorrectly for 2 dogs, so I would have to wait for the invoice to be corrected before settling the payment. I can deal with that but the most alarming thing to me was on my most recent (and final) visit. When I came to pick up my dog, they handed me someone else's dog with the same name without even checking who I was. I could have very easily just walked into the facility, asked for a random name and left with someone else's dog or someone could leave with mine. This left me really upset because I should be able to trust that my dog is being kept safe. With this, unfortunately we will not be returning to the dog scoop.
Great dog day care and overnight location. We send our dogs here whenever we are out of town. People are really friendly care about dogs. Daycare allows dropins which is really nice for unexpected times you may need a sitter. The dogs are required to spend a few days in daycare before being allowed to stay overnight.
The groomers are the best around the area. I drive from a few towns away to see them. The entire staff is always friendly and always very caring. My dogs are both always very happy to be there. Have tried in the past other places but my dogs were nervous and at the dog scoop they help me with that at the door! Thanks guys!

Paws To Consider is a wonderful dog walking service. Their walkers are professional and friendly, on time and really seem to love my dog. Cricket can be a little difficult to meet, as she has a stranger/danger reaction sometimes, but Paws does a great job of introducing new walkers to Cricket. They are great, and help me out so much with my sweet dog. Also, their level of and clear communication is fantastic. Couldn't be happier with these guys!

Our neighbors recommended Paws to us three years ago and we have been scheduling occasional walks and sitting for our dog, Jack, since then. The shelter where we adopted Jack would only release him to a forever home with no other dogs since he was surrendered due to his aggressive behavior with other dogs. None of his walkers/sitters at Paws have reported any problems and frequently seem to do a better job of controlling his behavior than we do. Paws even recommended a harness which Jack seems to be much more comfortable with than the collar we were using. We love the frequent updates that the walkers/sitters provide after each walk including lots of really great photographs, maps of the routes walked, and number of bowel movements. It would be difficult to leave Jack in a kennel and we feel much more comfortable having the sitters from Paws stay with Jack at our home. We’ve always found our home as clean, orderly, and secure as we left it. All of the walkers and sitters at Paws have gotten along so well with Jack that we haven’t had to worry and sometimes even get a bit envious. We would highly recommend Paws to anyone.
We utilize dog walking services for our Goldendoodle puppy. We have found them to be exceptional! Excellent communication, Extremely organized, Reliable dog care are just a few of the things we like best. Our puppy can be difficult at times on walks and anxious around strangers. Jana has been extremely good for our pup. I always have peace of mind when I go to work. I love the report cards we get with photos. They are caring, professional and flexible. Walks are solo or with 1 compatible dog. I love that about them. It’s definitely a more personalized approach and they are very thoughtful with transitions when it comes to introducing our pup to other dog walkers they build in additional time.

Paws To Consider has been incredible! We adopted a dog last year who ended up being somewhat high maintenance. Paws To Consider has taken SUCH good care of him on his weekly walks. The post-walk messages and photos are thorough and fun to see. The administrative team has also been really helpful and flexible with our varying schedule. We are sadly moving out of their radius, and I know we won't find a dog walker that our dog bonds with as much!

We discovered Paws to Consider is an exceptional and reliable petsitting company! The walkers are carefully vetted, and I get photos and updates after every visit. The office is responsive when we need to make schedule changes. I have used a number of dogwalkers over the years, and Paws to Consider is the absolute BEST in the area!!!!!!
Our dog seems happy to go, and seems happy when we pick her up. However, there really isn't transparency in the care. Too many dogs for them to give a report out on how your dog individually is doing. Price is comparable to others in the area. The front desk staff are... okay. Some more helpful than others. We'll continue to go as long as no issue arises.

I always get extremely nervous leaving my little cat June with others but during holidays I know I can’t take her home. I’ve been to Luxe Pet Resort twice and both times were beyond amazing. The employees are SO kind about my hesitancy leaving my cat and make me feel so comforted. The last time I was there I even (embarrassingly!) teared up leaving her there, but two hours later I received an unprompted email with pictures and and an update! So nice and I definitely recommend!
I boarded my Bengal cat here for three weeks. Initially, I was very nervous to leave him anywhere that wasn't home. I dropped him off in tears and Carley was amazing. She put my mind at ease and let me spend as much time with him before I had to leave. They were able to accommodate the raw food I make and followed my feeding instructions. I was able to get updates via email and Carley sent me pictures and videos of him! They were honest when he wasn't eating the first few days which was to be expected as he was in a new environment. If I ever needed to board again I would board here. The price was very reasonable. Thank you to the Luxe staff!
My dog loves play group at Luxe and the staff clearly love him right back. A top notch operation with indoor and outdoor play areas and in house grooming if needed. My dog is beside himself when I ask him “do you want to go play with he puppies?” . Eager when I drop him off and equally happy when I pick him up. Every time!
Absolutely love Sam's Pet Patrol! He is extremely knowledgeable about animals and is invested in my pet's wellbeing, always sending me updates about my dog's walks and boarding. He's very consistent and flexible - he's been great about handling last minute scheduling changes. I've used his services for midday walks when I need to go into the office as well as longer term boarding when I need to go out of town. Can't recommend this service enough!
Great decision to use Sam to dog sit while visiting our granddaughter in Boston. Sam took wonderful care of Cody and even picked him up and returned him to our in-town hotel. Second day Cody went off with him happily and was excited to greet him. It made our city visit, with dining out, stress free. So happy we found Sam. I’d highly recommend him.
Sam is an absolute angel and a wonderful trainer and dog sitter! I’ve been having him walk and take care of my dog for a few years, and she is so happy when she sees him that she literally leaps into his arms. He is very thoughtful and attentive to each dog he cares for, and spoils my dog rotten! He’s punctual, reliable, and I can always count on him to be flexible when my work or travel schedule goes awry. For example, when my flight was more h to a four hours delayed, Sam offered to keep my pup overnight at no charge, and allow me to pick her up in the early morning. I have recommended Sam to several friends and neighbors, and they’ve always been very happy with his services as well.

Sam is fabulous. We found him when we were desperate to board our elderly dog while his owner was in the hospital. He was incredibly communicative and reassuring. It was like leaving a child at kindergarten and Sam was as comforting as a kindergarten teacher! The little guy got excellent care, well fed, time outdoors. And Sam has continued to be available even for challenging requests. I recommend him without hesitation. He has been a calm space in some very stressful situations.

Try it for yourself! Sam is an outstanding professional dog trainer. My husky tends to be erratic sometimes but Sam had the correct approach, I was baffled by all the knowledge he puts into practice with dogs!
We're so happy to have found Sam's Pet Patrol! We have an older beagle who can be very opinionated about his walks, and Sam is great with him. Sam is great with communication and always sends up good photos, and even the occasional video update! He had been very reliable; Even when we've needed last-minute walks, Sam was up for it!

Darrell has been absolutely wonderful and accommodating with my hectic schedule! I can tell my pup loves staying with him and is well cared for! I would absolutely recommend their services and am thankful that they have been so welcoming and helpful! Updated review: My dog has now been going to Leash Dog care for almost 2 years and has never had any issues. The team are attentive, always updating me with pictures, and my dog clearly has a wonderful time. On top of that they work around my schedule so nicely and are accommodating as well. I will continue to recommend them if looking for overnight care, playgroup or even a walker!

Darrell and his team at Leash have been caring for my dog and cats while We’re out of town traveling for years now. They always provide consistent, responsible care, send me photos while I’m away, and my pets are always happy and cared for when I return.
We have been using Leash Dog Care walking services in different occasions and Darrell and his team are always on time to pick Lily up. She always returns happy and gets very excited when she knows that somebody from Leash is waiting outside the door for her. Darrell is very responsible and always responds our questions. He does his job with love and it's noticeable.

We are so happy we've found Darrell and his team at Leash. The playgroups are wonderful and, when our dog has boarded with Darrell, our dog seemed to be having a vacation of his own with the other doggies! Darrell really helps the dogs feel at home when he's caring for them. Whenever we see Darrell in the neighborhood, our dog gets SO excited and wants to go with him. It's such a comfort to have someone we trust right in JP.

Our dog Ozzy loves leash! We have used leash many times for dog walking and boarding. They are very communicative and always send cute pictures and updates on how our dog is doing. They also are very flexible with pick up/drop off times for boarding. Highly recommend!
We LOVE Darrell and his team! Our puppy, Lana, comes home from playgroup every day tired and happy. He has been super flexible and understanding of our crazy schedules as we are both residents. Michael has done a wonderful dog taking care of our dog Penny for the past 5 years. He provides in home care at his home, as well as walks at our house when needed. Every time, my dog gets so excited to see him. He sends pictures and updates while we are away. We are so fortunate to have such a responsible and kind caretaker for our pup while we are away.
Mike has been my pet sitter for 5 years and has provided consistently excellent service the whole time. He visits my furry friends when I am out of town and provides them with fresh food and milk daily. He also sends me a little video of them each day! When I have needed help with extra things (bringing in packages, watering plants), he has done those things as well. He is reliable, kind, and very good with animals. My little guys love him. Mike has also done great with improvising to handle unexpected situations (e.g. I was out of town longer than expected and hadn't left extra pet food). I trust him fully. I have high standards for pet care and Mike exceeds them every time. I recommend him without reservation - as do my pets!
Mike has been walking my dog for about 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier with him. He is flexible, and reliable. When I can't be home to walk my dog, I don't worry because I know I can depend on Mike. After each walk he will always send me an update on how the walk went. He also does nice little things like taking in mail and packages etc. I highly recommend Happy Dog.
I have been working with Michael and Marcia for close to 2 years and I can't emphasis how much I appreciate them. I feel incredibly lucky that I found such trustworthy, kind, and responsible walkers for my dog Gus, who absolutely LOVES Michael and Marcia. I've had my fair share of unreliable walkers, so when I started working with Happy Dog, all my worries and anxiety over whether or not Gus is being well taken care of went away. We LOVE Happy Dog! When we moved to Belmont 6 years ago, I was very worried about finding a reliable & trustworthy person, that also loved our high maintenance frenchie who would care for her during the work week. Michael came to my house to meet our dog, and I seriously grilled him (we joke about this now). Thankfully, I didn’t scare Michael away & he agreed to take care of our Birkin GiGi. The bond that Birkin has with Marcia & Michael melts my heart. One of the highlights of my day is checking Happy Dog’s facebook posts, cannot get enough of the adorable dog photos. My dog is sick often, Marcia and Michael text to check in on Birkin. Marcia & Michael always make sure to stock everyone’s favorite treats! It’s easy to see that this is not just a job for them, they truly LOVE the animals that they care for. I cannot recommend Happy Dog enough!
Mike and Marcia have taken care of both of our dogs, since 2006. They take our current dog, Lucy, on daily walks, which includes some socialization with other dogs - a big deal, since our dog is very much an only child. And we also board Lucy overnight with them, sometimes for weekends and occasionally when we take long trips away. They even helped us when our previous dog recovered from surgery, and provided appropriate and loving care during a lengthy recovery. We trust them completely and do not hesitate to recommend them.
I have known Mike for over a decade. I have entrusted him to care for two beloved chocolate labradors, both rescue dogs. The key word is trust. I trust him implicitly that he will do the right thing for my pets in any given situation. This trust is earned and based on years of integrity, dependability, professionalism, empathy, and compassion. When we got to the stage of caring for a 100lb geriatric dog, Mike stepped up and helped us get through various canine health issues that many times were not trivial. It would have been impossible to have provided quality end of life care without Mike. Mike can “read” dogs and will make good decisions about how the dog is doing and what will work or not work in a given situation. My current labrador is very sweet but has triggers that can lead to bad behavior. Shortly after getting her Mike helped me figure out her triggers and what situations were doable and what was a no go for her. Mike has taken care of my dogs at my house during travel. The last trip, within an hour of him arriving he sent me a picture of my puppy belly up on the couch wanting belly rubs from Mike. She loves and trust him. That is everything to me. I highly recommend Mike and HappyDog.
