We had a great time in Miranda and Mark's house. They invited us to stay the night before the sit and we were made to feel very welcome. We had clear instructions on how to look after the animals and they were a delight. Our daughter particularly loved the kittens and they were very welcoming of her affection. Jet is a lovely gentle, old boy who is very well behaved both at home and on walks. Their grand yet cosy house is well situated for trips into Liverpool and to the surrounding beaches on the Wirral. There is also a great park nearby and a golf course round the corner, which is great for a quick morning walk. We would definitely recommend a sit at Miranda and Mark's home.
Awesome cats and house to sit for!
We really enjoyed our week at Susan’s house with Delilah and Joey who got on with Lando as soon as we arrived, as well as sharing the sofa together, they loved walking through the nearby woods and parks together (of which there are so many to choose from!). Our favourite part of the house was the spacious kitchen where we both worked from each day with the door open for the dogs to run in and out of the garden. Highlights near the house included the Hare & Hound pub which has beautiful views and does a great Sunday roast (all 3 of dogs were fussed over too!) 5 mins down the road and the seafood/fish and chip restaurant in town (15 mins walk downhill) - I’ve forgotten the name but Marco Pierre White is also a huge fan! Susan even accommodated us when asked if we could leave a few hours earlier than planned - we loved this housesit and would definitely love to return!
Marci has a beautiful home, and Cole was the easiest pet we have ever sat for! He can be surprisingly frisky for an older guy, and we loved walking him around Montgomery, but he was also happy to nap the day away when we were busier. Marci was responsive to our questions and gave us some tips about watching his water intake that helped us find our rhythm with Cole. Marci's home was extremely comfortable and clean overall. We had to toss some produce from the fridge to keep it from going bad, and we noticed some crumbs in forgettable places (microwave), but these were not major concerns for us. Other living spaces were spotless and we would absolutely stay again without reservation. Marci's neighbors were friendly to us and the location was IDEAL in this small lively town. We felt at home right away. Thanks for having us, Marci!
Fantastic stay with Miranda's fur baby crew! Miranda is so organized, accommodating, and prepared. Captain, Harley, and the girls (Barley and Popcorn) are well behaved, so sweet, and fun to take care of. I highly recommend and would sit agree again!
Michelle is a wonderful, flexible and very accommodating pet parent. Shasta and Sierra are delightful pets and very easy to take care of. Shasta is a super friendly dog who will expand your social network on walks. The very nice and pleasant home is just a short walk from MV downtown and many trails. Had an overall amazing time! Hope to sit for Shasta and Sierra again in the not-too-distant future.
