Dora & Jose made us feel very welcome. The home was warm and quaint. Their home was within easy walking distance to the shops and was central to tourist sites. Due to the commentment of housing the rabbits in the lounge area, we did find that there was a lack of comfortable seating for relaxing. Other than that, the cats and rabbits where lovely, if not, entertaining.
Enjoyed a month in this wonderful location looking after Cookie and the property. Spoke to Scott on the phone and he explained everything clearly for the time of year I was visiting. The property is fabulous and has great character, art, wonderfully furnished and the bedroom was a great size with a good shower ! There’s plenty of places to venture out in the car within a 25 mile radius and Lidl, Carrefour and Intermarche are all situated just 8km away. There are loads of fields to walk on the doorstep and explore, I gave Cookie two walks a day and the neighbours were very friendly too. Cookie is a fascinating dog ! She’s wonderful to look after and loves going for walks - that said you need to be able to handle a strong dog on lead. I’m 16 stone and at times it’s a challenge ! She’s a hunting dog and loves to sniff for wildlife on her adventures so at times she pulls and you need to have the strength to hold her back but the rewards are high and she loves the attention ! In the house she relaxes and sleeps close by until the next adventure or feed ! As a bonus prize Scott returned with an adorable 9 month old puppy call Nipper (this name is subject to change !)who was simply adorable and will be a great play mate for Cookie . A very relaxed house sit and would welcome the opportunity to return ! I would give this house sit a solid 10/10 !

So with a little apprehension I decided to push open the door of this living room with my Simba..
