Erica is an absolute gem!! She took amazing care of the pups and the house, and left everything super clean. She was communicative and sent great updates. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
Sharon's home was immaculate and tastefully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. She went above and beyond by providing a comprehensive guide, complete with thoughtful notes throughout the house, which made my stay incredibly smooth and stress-free. Tyson was an absolute sweetheart and a great companion. Staying at Sharon's was such a pleasure, and I would highly recommend it to anyone on the platform!
Nancy and John's house is well-equipped with anything you might need and very comfortable. It is well-located in Hanover, just a minute's drive from restaurants, a grocery store, and more. Hanover is small, but you are also only about half an hour's drive away from Boston, so you can get your big city fix relatively easily! There is also a woodsy area out back that is fun to explore. Brody and Cooper are great dogs to watch - very easy to take care of and extremely loving. They do get up pretty early in the morning, so be prepared for that. And they like to rile each other up a bit. But nothing a well-placed toy can't fix! They kept us great company and were always happy to get some pets (Cooper can't get enough of them!). Nancy and John were very accommodating, getting to know us over a home-cooked meal the night we arrived. They made us quickly feel at home and made a point to make sure we were comfortable with everything. Communication was great while they were gone - Nancy even helped us find a dentist when Andy chipped a tooth.
She was lovely. We had to leave unexpectedly due to a family crisis, and she found someone to replace me. It was a nightmare situation but made easy by her flexibility. Lovely home and sweet dog. ❤️
It was a special treat to housesit and petsit Apollo, at Janise's home. Janice assured me that her greyhound, Apollo is a gentle soul. Apollo is... was a genuine sweetie. He is gentle, kind, wise, and aware. Our walks were a delight, especially with the Suprise, Arizona cactus blooming. I was able to visit my family, and family friends from my youth, and still care for Apollo, in great ease, and comfort. Apollo is very popular in the neighborhood. When anyone who knew him, saw him, out and about, they had to come over and give him some love. In truth, I am not around dogs very often. Yet Apollo didn't seem to mind. We got along famously. It was a dear adventure for sure. I told Apollo we may do this again. It was a grand vacation for all of us, and I never felt alone! I got to meet and greet Janise, at the beginning and at the end of her trip. All very comforting and dear. Apollo is a treasure, and definitely a one of a kind! We had a ball. Plus he was a great walking coach. He even stopped and reminded me to pick up the mail, my first day!
Tara and Kalani are adorable. Both are super smart as well. Kalani is pretty self sufficient and Tara is such a sweet girl and very well trained. The home is comfortable and located in a beautiful spot amongst the redwood trees. A wonderful trails system wraps around the property and is a great place to walk Tara. I really enjoyed meeting Jack and Cris and had a wonderful experience
Hetty, Barry, and QT are such easy going dogs and super sweet! Thank you to Cathy and Hans for allowing us to spend time with them and enjoy some peace and quiet in your home. From a warm welcome (including pizza and wine together 😃) until the moment we left this sit was straightforward and worthwhile for us with clear communication throughout for any questions we had. All dogs have very simple routines they know well, and are relatively low maintenance as far as dogs go. They are very affectionate and do enjoy a fuss and a cuddle, but are not too intense or demanding. We slept well even with Barry in the room with us (though light sleepers bring earplugs in case he does his snores!) because the beds were comfortable and blinds helped keep the room very dark. I worked pretty comfortably here and had no issues on ms teams calls etc. Ontinyent is a relaxing place with some great walking which we enjoyed, and getting some supplies in for the week is easy enough. A well recommended sit for those wanting some peace, and plenty of lemons and oranges from the grounds. We'd love to come back in a warmer month and enjoy the pool too! Thank you again Cathy and Hans.
