Our dogs always come home happy and tired and we can go away knowing they are well cared for. We also appreciate the update messages and pics throughout our dogs' stay. So glad we found Petscapes Retreat!
My friend recommended them to me for when I went out of town and at first I thought I could bring her with me but I couldn't, so I left her with them and she loved it. I loved the prices of course its way better than kenneling her in some random place where she would be terrified. They took such good care of her when I was gone I got cute photos and daily updates on her. And overall I was more than satisfied. I definitely will be using them again.
Amy and Joyce took excellent care of my dogs. I liked how they were flexible with drop off and pick up times. I appreciate how the prices are reasonable and it's so much better than leaving your dogs somewhere where they are stuck in a kennel all day. They spent quality time with them and made sure they were well taken care of even if it was a few hours they went above and beyond my expectations . I will definitely use them again and suggest you do too.
Amy was wonderful (and her associates) taking care of our little yorkie for 10 days in September. She gave her meds to her, fed her the dog food that we brought, made her feel comfortable by showing her the water bowl and understood her personality. Amy separated her from the big dogs when they overwhelmed her too. We also took her over to Amy’s place before our trip to meet her and have Eva become acquainted with Amy and her house and big backyard. Our yorkie was so at home there, that after she greeted us, when we came to pick her up, she went back to Amy to say goodbye to her which is rare for her to do. We will definitely leave our yorkie with Amy when needed when we go out of town again.
I would also rate Petscapes Retreat 10 stars. Casey and Neo, my "puppies", pull me to the front door on the days they get to go! The loving attention provided by all the wonderful humans, and the playtime/socialization they get from their canine friends, is truly more than I expected. :)
Gus's second home! Thanks Amy for the short notice get away for our Bochi!
Petscapes Retreat is A-ok!!!!! My wee puggles, Stinky, which is short for Stinky Bubbles, and Whiskers, which is short for Whiskey Breath due to his fondness for liquor, absolutely love it there. They insist on wearing their fancy clothes, and are always so excited when they get there, you would think it's a trip to Doggie Disneyland. Then, with their silly, little nubtails wiggling and wagging when I pick them up, it's as if they just spent the whole day riding doggie roller coasters. It's like they just got a full bag of Beggin' Strips with a side of kitty gravy!!! Then home we go, where they sleep like happy snoring little babies, especially Whiskers, he's noisy due to his plugged nose. My only complaint would be that once, when I picked them up, the top button of Stinky's sweater was undone, and I fear he possibly caught a chill.
Absolutely the best pet sitters in Oklahoma City. They pay a lot of attention to my dogs Scuby and Sparkle. I highly recommend them.
Amy and Joyce are so good to my dog. He loves it there. I highly recommend Petscapes Retreat.
Took great care of our boys while we were on vacation. Will bring them back again.
Chloe is wonderful with our dog and has been super accommodating of my weird work schedule. I'm so glad we found her!
I've been taking my dog Sam here for over 4 years, Chloe is fantastic. She is extremely trustworthy and always available and accomodating to our busy schedule. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a place for their pup.
Cloe is so sweet. We called her for an odd hours request. She was extremely accommodating to our needs. She sent us pics of our dog while in her care. She saved the day allowing me to meet a cousin whom we had never met in person. 10 stars to sweet Cloe.
I’ve used Chloe over overnight dog sitting several times for my Yorkie. She even will pick him up from my home and drop him off the day we return from vacation which is super convenient when we have those early morning flights. She always sends lots of pictures and Hercules is unstressed and happy after staying with Chloe.
Chloe takes great care of my shih tzu puppy every time I have to run out of town or just when I need to just run errand. She always sends me pics and keeps me updated on how he’s doing. Would strongly recommend! :)
I have been taking my German Shepherd Kona to Chloe for around a year now. She loves it there. Chloe works with your schedule and sends lots of pictures while you’re away. I will continue to use Chloe whenever I have to go out of town.
Chloe was great with my 3 little dogs. This was the first time leaving them with someone other than family and she was wonderful with keeping in touch, sending pictures, and quickly responding to all messages.
Wolfpack is the place to be. Pool tables, drinks, line dancing, darts. Whatever you want they have it. Pull up
Lost my dog! Please take your babies out of there.
I’ve Never sat your dog
I absolutely love taking my fur-babies here!! The staff are so sweet and so caring!! The groomers are always amazing & take such sweet care of your fur-babies and have them looking sooo good!!! Id highly recommend this location!!!🐾🙌💛 …
My dog absolutely loves coming here. We’ve brought her since she’s had her shots as a puppy and it’s kept all of us sane. I’m able to work at home without worrying about her getting into any trouble. She’s able to use up her energy playing with friends!
I had my Standard Poodle groomed here this morning. The staff are exquisite! Teresa, the groomer, was so patient with my inability to be perfectly clear with what I wanted. She even reached out directly with some questions to clarify a few details. Kind, patient, and talented! Attached is a Before/After:
Amazing places for dogs! Staff is very friendly and our dog loves going!
Best experience for me and definitely for my senior dog... They are professional, friendly, and attentive. Teresa did a perfect job of grooming. My dog is happy and looks SO GOOD! He smells amazing, too. We will return there without hesitation.
My dog LOVES Bark of the Town!! I travel quite a bit for work and I don't feel bad boarding her since I know she loves it and is good hands. The staff is great, they love dogs and treat them as their own. I also highly recommend the grooming. It's nice to drop my dog off for doggie daycare and have her groomed the same day. Great place!!
Awesome dog groomer. My dog came out of there looking good! He didn’t behave well and can’t go anymore, but that’s on him. I appreciate the honesty here and I’ll recommend this place to anyone with a nice dog that is looking for a groomer. Thank you all! ☺️
This place was recommended to me by a good friend so I decided to try and board my dog here. We did the doggy day care to get him acclimated and he seemed to enjoy it. What bothered me was when I asked to take a tour of the facility, they wouldn’t let me. I asked if they could send me pictures of where he would be sleeping, playing etc since he’ll be staying there a whole week, I wanted to know what kind of environment he was going to be in. The pictures online show mostly close ups of dogs or the outside of the building. The girl told me she would ask the owner and get back to me but she never did. This I found out is very unusual and not like other boarding places, other places offer tours of their facilities. Well my dog came home with a scratch on his leg, which fine, dogs rough house with each other. But my dog developed an infection within hours and had to be taken to the ER where he had a 107 temp and was in the ICU for two days. This makes me suspicious of the cleanliness of the facility since they won’t let dog owners see or tour their facility. And I wonder how they are with the supervision of the pups. Update: the owner called and talked to me about what happened and apologized. I appreciated her reaching out.
Bark of the Town is my favorite place to bring my personal dogs -- I have tried a couple others and this one is hands down the best. I love how I know my dogs get to play the entire time they are there. At many other doggy day cares, they will kennel the dogs for part of their visit but at Bark of the Town they play from the second they are dropped off until you pick them up. I also love the staff. They are always happy to see my dogs and it just makes me feel a lot more reassured when I drop them off that I know they will be taken care of. At other places I have dropped my dogs off, the staff doesn't seem happy to see my dogs and then I am worried the whole time I'm gone if they are going to be treated well. My dogs are a little weird about new people but I can tell they like the staff there.
I personally love my dog and had the privilege of working there for a very short period of time, however I thought they were amazing! The location I worked at was for large dogs and the have a whole separate location for small dogs. My dog is very sensitive and shy but she was able to fit in just fine. They do stay outside however they have a cooled shop area that the dogs all have access to. They are constantly changing the water and making sure it is cold. I think the employees and the owners are all great people and truly care for your animals. With any place combining dogs can be tricky and you are at risk of your dog getting hurt but they are very good about integrating each dog. I think any dog would be a happy caper haniging out there and I would highly recommend them!
So pleased! Made a last minute daycare reservation and they were accommodating and super pleasant. Even sent us photos of our dog playing. He is a 14-year-old large dog, and really enjoyed himself!
My two westies absolutely love this place. They have been for overnight boarding, which includes day care, a bunch of times now. The staff is great with dogs and hoomans. The owner is incredibly sweet and accommodating. The place feels secure and safe for my boys. Their rooms for boarding are kept clean. They take my boys out for outdoor and indoor play throughout the day, so they aren’t kept in the room the whole time. They send pictures of the boys to us throughout their stay which we love because they get the best pictures! And best yet, the cost doesn’t break the bank!
The Dog House OKC takes great care of Cooper! I went to other local dog groomers and they would take up to 4-6 hours to groom him; Dog House has never taken more than 2 hours for a full bath and groom. He comes home smelling amazing, looking handsome and happy! I cannot recommend them enough!
Totally recommend this place. I picked up a foster to take him to an adoption event. She seemed so happy to be there and was ready to go back. Staff is so nice and knowledgeable about the animals I saw multiple Video screens up where you could see the animals. They do get to go outside they're not crated all the time Sadly Hank did not get adopted at the event but seemed happy to return to the dog house.
Amazing Groomer! Let me just say I found THE most amazing groomer here!! Cheryl is a kind, genuinely talented lady. Her "consent" style of grooming is perfect for my dogs who are SO tuned in to human emotions! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!!!!
I bring my dog a few times a week! I love the staff and fell so comfortable leaving her with them!!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I have never had any problems. This is an awesome place for my dog, and she LOVES attending any playing with all her friends!! Thank you to The Dog House and staff!!!
If I were able, this place would receive 0 stars! The owner should not be running a business that is trusted with the care of dogs. She is borderline abusive to employees, openly screaming at them and speaking negatively about them in front of customers. No wonder turnover is so high and there's practically a new face every few weeks. Employees are also not trained properly to be entrusted with the care of dogs. Out of the two establishments, one has already been shut down. I'm sure this one will follow with how Sherry is running it. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!
We enjoy taking our dog here! We do both boarding and daycare and the dog LOVES it! We get pics daily while he's there and very responsive to calls/texts. So far we've never had an issue with this place and will continue to come!
I dropped off my baby Infinity the morning of 2/2/2024 when I returned that evening she was carried out to me because she was gasping for air and foaming at the mouth. The staff member said “he didn’t know what was wrong “ then was told we should have called when she was throwing up & had diarrhea. There for I didn’t get contacted of any issues. I felt in a panic hoping I could cool her off or calm her down but she passed away in my arms on the way to the vet. This has been a traumatic experience for me!!!!!!! The staff is unknowable of how to care for my breed of dog & the owner lacks empathy and compassion. I would give a negative rating if I could.
Our dogs love this place, and so do we. The staff is amazing and the dogs adore them. They literally didn't think twice when I left them for a week.
I've been bringing Maggie for the past 2 years and only wished I had brought her sooner. Maggie came from a hoarding house with lots of anxiety and one insecure sweetheart. Her insecurity would cause her to bite people. This doggie daycare has been so good to Maggie and patiently worked with her. A year and a half later they said they had a breakthrough with Maggie. She let them touch her. Two years later, Maggie now let's staff pick her up. She so looks forward to her playtime. I love that they have a big window where you can see your dogs and they can watch you come pick them up. I've had to board a couple of times and everything was good. I liked that they did not board in a cage, but instead in the open area that they are used to. I highly recommend bringing your dog here. Maggie and I love the staff here!!!
You can enjoy your vacation and know your dog's are safe.
Our dog has never been in daycare so we had lots of questions. We needed a place for our dog the day of so I called to ask availability, not expecting to necessarily be promised a spot. The staff at Canine Social Club were very helpful on the phone and answered all questions and had no issue with day of daycare. They welcome walk ins and are flexible with drop off and pick up times. When we picked up our dog, you could tell he had a great time playing with other dogs and getting his energy out. The staff is friendly and they treat the dogs as their own. I would highly recommend this place if your dog has energy and loves to play. We will definitely be using them again next time we need daycare.
I have a high energy pup, that seemed to have LOVED the stay. I had them go ahead and give a bath, they did a great job and the energizer bunny came home tuckered out. Will bring the pup back for more fun for sure! Update: It’s now been over a year since we first brought our little poochie to Canine Social Club. She LOVES spending time there! As soon as she figures out where she’s going, she goes insane, and if we say “Canine Social Club” at anytime, her ears perk up and she starts running around. We’ve found that she HAS to go at least once or twice a week or she gets antsy at home. She LOVES the staff there, it’s always clean and I can tell she has a lot of fun! Update 2: It’s been 3 years already? Now, thanks to the owner of CSC setting us up with a buddy for our little pooch who desperately needed a furever home, we now have two great sister doggies who LOVE each other and LOVE CSC! Could not dream of taking them anywhere else and the new facilities are great. Update 3: CSC is under new ownership, but Amy, Melissa's sister, still works there. I still implicitly trust the staff and new owner. She has implemented a bunch of new stuff that I really like. The prices are still very reasonable, and the sister-dogies still LOVE going there!
Groomer listened and did exactly what I asked her to do!! Class act! All staff are friendly and you can see they love the dogs and the dogs love being their. Very happy place.
I started bringing my giant schnoodle here and she absolutely loves it. They take such great care of our babies. I also have used the groomer and she did a wonderful job. The convenience of having her groomed and play at the same place is fabulous. Makes our busy lives so much easier to manage. I would highly recommend bringing your “fur babies” here.
Our dog got groomed here today and yes, the grooming was nice and our dog looks wonderful, but the costumer service is absolutely horrid. Not only were we cursed at but also shamed for not tipping. Our dog was in the back yelping and we were confronted for not waiting in our car though we were never told to sit in the car. We were never once rude to this owner nor towards the workers.
Absolutely the best doggie daycare and grooming out there. They always greet us and our dog by name when we come in. She cannot wait to get there each day to play with her friends and comes home happy and tired every evening! I know she is cared for and loved by the entire staff. It's like her home away from home (but even better)! We LOVE CSC!
This place has been a life saver for my high energy and highly social little dog. She absolutely LOVES going there every day and hates having to stay home on weekends. I know she is always in safe hands and I board her there as well. I have recommended CSC to several friends with dogs and they love it also. Can not say enough good things about them! It is Fiona’s home away from home.
This worst place ever to go to. The owner is rude and yells and cusses at the customers. Then she gets mad when you don’t tip. Tipping is not required it’s not a necessity. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My little Yorky Shih Tzu was getting a shave and he’s had this type of haircut the several times before along with nail trimming and he has never Whine and cried and try to get away ever but he did at this place. I think they miss treat the dogs. They shouldn’t be in business.
