Martin and Leonora stayed with Lucky Stripes a second time. It's always a treat to come home after they've been here. Beyond exceptional care for Mr. Lucky Stripes, they provide exception care for our home. This time our we returned to a fixed bathroom faucet and some garden work completed. We met Sue entirely through zeewoi, and arranged for her to look after our house and elderly cat, Eeak, who is 16 years old for a week, while we were on holiday, and I just cannot recommend her enough, or thank her enough for taking such amazing car of our old tabbie. She was quite happy to meet up beforehand, provide ID etc. and took notes of all the special instructions around caring for Eeak (he has hyperthyroidism and asthma), and the details around looking after the house too. We found her very personable and after meeting her, had no reservations about leaving Eeak, and our home, in her care. Over the week she sent us updates and pictures, she maintained Eeak’s medication regimen, which really isn’t easy, and she also came up with new ways to make him more comfortable. It was so incredibly reassuring to know he was being so well looked after, it took all the stress of leaving him away. We came home to find our house had also been just as well looked after. Wonderful. There is nothing negative I can say, she was amazing. She gave Eeak loads of time and the photos of him zonked out on her lap show just how well they got on! Thank you Sue, you were an absolute godsend, we were so worried about leaving him when he is so frail, but came back to find him eating well and perfectly happy, which is all credit to you. We are already speaking to Sue to enquire if she is free to look after Eeak again, as we would have her sit again in a heartbeat.
