We stayed at Barbara's lovely home in Frigiliana in Southern Spain. Frigiliana is a really beautiful village and is very close to Nerja on the Costa Del Sol which is also a really great place to visit with lovely beaches, bars, restaurants cafes, everything you could wish for. Barbara is a great lady, she is very modern and adventurous. She is kind & considerate and she really loves her dogs, Poppy & Flo. They are great dogs, they love their walks and are vey lovable. We really got very attached to them and were sad to leave them when our time with them was over. Barbara has a lovely, modern house. It is very comfortable to live in and it is so very close to every facility in Frigiliana of which there are many. We loved it at Barbara's with Poppy& Flo and can't wait to go back there. Thank you Barbara for choosing Maggie & me and I'm sorry it has taken me this long to submit this review. I have already completed one but think I did so on the wrong platform. My apologies. Megan was really friendly and welcoming. She showed us around and then quickly left us to play with Dusty. We arrived early so Megan had bought us some bread and coffee; so thoughtful and hugely appreciated. We loved looking after Dusty. She is so cute. We played for hours and then she cuddled up next to us. We would recommend this sit and would love to look after Dusty again.
Lauren and Evan were friendly, welcoming folk. They were helpful and good communicators and made me very welcome. Their home is lovely, comfortable and convenient. Pud and Maisey are gorgeous cats, very snuggly and easy. I hope they invite me back.
Bubble, Meushi, and Milo are so adorable! They are all very affectionate and easy to care for. Stephanie and Lynn’s house is comfortable and about 20 minutes to the city. The walking trail behind their house is wonderful and it’s so easy to give the pups some good exercise. We did struggle with some instructions being out of date and not being able to find some items. We didn’t want to dig around and felt bad about bugging Stephanie and Lynn while they were away. I think a quick review of the welcome guide and/or adding some details would help greatly! All that being said, Stephanie and Lynn were very accommodating to make sure that we were able to do everything we wanted to do while watching their animals, which we greatly appreciated.
This was a great house sit and would be happy to do it again. Scott was really easy to work with and the house was all set up for a guest and really comfortable. Ford...I miss you, what a cool dog! Honestly this was a great sit for me, I consider myself a dog person, but I sometimes feel a tiny bit anxious taking a dog I don't really know into a dog park, but it was fine. I only mention this for future sitters that you should be comfortable with dogs and dog park because Ford really enjoys getting out a couple times a day.
