Using my usual method of considering People, Pets and Places: I had an absolute blast getting to know Jackie. She was incredibly helpful from the start and was great company, to boot. I've interacted with many "pet parents" and Jackie is easily among the very best. The happy trio of Treacle, Bennie and Frazzles welcomed me right away. They were so pleasantly and adorably "velcro", their company adding further warmth to an already wonderful home. The Woolstone area near Milton Keynes (MK) is a great place to spend time; MK itself has a lot to offer. However, the real standout was Jackie's home. Every one of the "three Ps" was great, but in total it was a fantastic sit. Any other sitters will be lucky to have the chance that I did!
We really enjoyed looking after Hamlet in Edgar and his wife's beautiful home. We were invited over and shown around before the sit, which made us feel prepared and excited. Hamlet is very easy to take care of, as he verbally lets you know if he wants something and sometimes even leads you there. He comes back inside the house when called and also loves a good cuddle on the couch. Plus, he is the biggest cat we’ve ever seen and so gorgeous! Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time at Debbies and Tonys beautiful and comfortable Chalet in Samöens. It is a very cozy and with love for detail build and decorated home. We had a nice evening together with them for the handover, where they cooked for us a delicious meal and showed us everything. Communication was always easy and fast and whenever we had a question they answered immediately. Bridget and Audrey are very cute and self-sufficient cats. They love to say hello in the morning, get some snuggles, play a bit with each other, and sleep the rest of the day. Audrey joined me in the mornings in the kitchen for my teatime and Bridget visited us sometimes in bed for cuddles. We would definitely recommend the sit! It's perfect if you either want to chill with the cats in the living room at the fireplace and watch a nice movie OR if you want to enjoy the beautiful landscape around. Samöens and close by are a lot of cute little villages.
Dogsitting Luna and Darby was such a great experience. Beth was great communicating before and during the sit. Darby and Luna were both so sweet and like most dogs just want some love and affectionate- we will miss them! They also have a doggy door which makes them super easy to care for. Beth's home was cozy and lovely. It sits on a canal with a beautiful view from her pool and less than 20 mins from St. Pete's beaches and 10 mins south of downtown. 10/10 experience I highly recommend.
I had a great time in Tampere with Mochi. She is very friendly. The house is perfect, cozy and confy, close to city center and to public transportation. I would come back if Xuan wants me back. I highly recommend this sit.
A big joy and responsibility to share holiday time with 13 yo Shiro(lots of breathing checks on my part)’ Great house, location and after my last sit with hovering long distance parents, it felt good to enjoy the “trusted” part of TH. Highly recommend.
