We were away for a month, and never once had the slightest reason to worry about our two dogs. We came home to healthy, happy dogs and a house in perfect condition. Hamsa kept us updated and was a pleasure to communicate with. (Even after we got home, the dogs followed her around.)

Salsa and Sugo were sweethearts to look after. They were well-trained and friendly. Salsa is a cuddle bug, Sugo likes to give you a wee bit of space while he decides, but he loved a good scritch as well. They had good recall at the dog park and were pretty easy to walk. Sugo does like to randomly hang back whilst walking once in a while so at times there was pressure on the leash. Tori has some tips and tricks to help him (and you) work through it and it wasn't really much of an issue.
The home was tidy and comfortable plus I was spoiled with great views from the deck. Tori was generous enough to offer food from their kitchen and pointed out the condo's community garden in case I needed something fresh.
I ended up eating out though because there were so many good restaurants an easy walk away.
Tori was also generous on other accounts. I was able to bring my own dog with me which was wonderful. And she allowed me to bring an ailing friend over one afternoon, a little dog therapy went a long way. Thank you.
The Welcome Guide was pretty much the best I have run across yet with lots of possible walks laid out and links to some of the best dog walks, parks, patios and eateries.
I recommend this sit. :-)

We definitely recommend this sit! Great setting—views from every window! Wonderful animals—you will want to adopt Kahlo! The town of Prescott is picturesque and many sites not too far away. Plus it’s not as hot as Phoenix.

I had the best time at Jan and Tim’s beautiful tranquil home in the Perth Hills. Excellent location for exploring this area or just a lovely quiet peaceful escape from the city. The highlight was definitely the gorgeous Boscoe and Tillie. Great clear communication from the hosts. Highly recommended

Jennifer
Jennifer is a fabulous pet parent. She loves her kittens, leaves easy to follow instructions, and communicates promptly. The kittens Smuge and Tom are extremely lovable, curious, fun, and easy to care for. Even scooping litter, the trickiest task when it comes to cats, was made super easy by the Litter Robot that Jennifer uses. We enjoyed lots of cuddles and string game during our stay. The home itself is safe, walkable, and clean. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, very hot shower. We enjoyed trying some new restaurants nearby and walking through the neighborhoods near Jennifer’s home. The location is super convenient for anyone wanting to explore Washington, D.C. We already miss Smuge & Tom so much. I probably took a hundred photos of them climbing their tree tower, engaging in brotherly wrestling matches, and curled up on our chests all fluffy and purring. They are so sweet. Thanks for having us!

Ajda
This is a group of the most playful, friendly, and loving cats I have ever met! I was so sad to leave these kitties, and if you're ever in need of some fun, snuggly kitties, do not pass up this sit! Ajda was great to work with, very flexible and communicative. Her place was cozy, comfortable, and peaceful, it felt like a retreat from the city, even though there is plenty right outside the door. Highly recommend!

I had a nice sit with Phoebe, Frank and Millie, and was lucky to explore Chilliwack as well. Wrinkle had other plans, however, and even though I was given instructions in the Welcome Guide, he was still able to sneak by me. While this was a bit stressful, Misty reassured me that it was typical of him, and the neighbours to welcome him in too.
Phoebe and Frank have very different personalities. Frank made me giggle a lot, as he is still in his puppy phase and with a bit more training, he will be a nice family dog. Phoebe is a lovely gentle companion, but is reactive and can get triggered by her (giant) brother when he invades her space. Millie was so sweet and made me consider having a kitty in my life. All in all, I enjoyed my surroundings and animal companions for the week and, like each sit, I learned a lot about dogs and kitties (and fish!).
