Abby and Andy are the most gracious, welcoming hosts with a beautiful home in the heart of Durango within a stone's throw of spectacular hiking. You couldn't ask for a more exuberant or loveable hiking companion than Tuukka. He was a joy both on and off leash, though is enthusiasm needs some gentle reigning in at times, as he gallops around like a goofy horse! We had so many fun adventures in Horse Gulch, the Sky Steps and Silverton hikes. The cats, Crow and Winnie warmed up to me, too. There were deer in the backyard and a gorgeous night sky, and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. This is the perfect way to see Durango, in the middle of the action, hikes with dog on tap. Highly recommended!
We absolutely loved our time at Tammy's place! Tammy and her family were really fun to get to know and Remi is the sweetest dog. We certainly fell in love with her! :) The chickens were a lot of fun too and easy to care for each day. Fresh eggs for breakfast was a real plus! Their home is really beautiful and has the best backyard to sit out at night and watch the sunset. It felt like we were out in the country but it's so close to town and there were so many fun shops and restaurants. We would certainly return to Harrisonburg in the future.
Looking after Arty and Lenny was such a joy and we spent 2 beautiful months together! We already miss them🐶❤️ They are both good, sweet and well behaved boys. They enjoy their morning walks, playing in the park and cuddling at home. They get along very well, they really love each other. The apartment is great with everything you'll need during the sit. The train station is 15 minutes walking and the train takes you to the city in around 30 minutes. Rene and Cass made us feel very welcome since the first minute, they are very friendly, kind and great hosts. Communication was great before and during the sit. We definitely recommend to sit Lenny and Arty if you have the opportunity, we are sure you will have a wonderful time as we did :)
I had a lovely time sitting with Poppy, Maisie and Gorgeous. They are all very friendly, affectionate and easy to care for. Poppy doesn't pull on her lead when walking and enjoys as long walks as you are happy to give. Their delightful home is very central in Cambridge, within easy walking distance of all central areas and with a variety of local supermarkets just a short walk away. A great sit.
Sitting for Shannon and her family was an incredible experience. The pets were super easy to care for. We enjoyed taking ZZ on walks and to the charming local farmers market. Splash and ZZ both loved to cuddle and we were more than happy to cuddle up with them. Shannon's home was spotless, very comfortable and peaceful, making our stay truly enjoyable. If you ever get the chance to housesit for Shannon, we highly recommend seizing the opportunity.
We absolutely loved our stay at Belinda & Micks home! The house is beautiful and super clean. We had our own bedroom and were allowed to use all other rooms, the deck, the garden and the pool. The most wonderful thing about our sit were their two dogs Rocco and Cora. Rocco is a young Boarder Collie who has a lot of energy and loves to play. He is well behaved and also knows when to settle down. He also loves do cuddle. We took him to the dog park and also to other places we went to. Cora is a beautiful senior Greyhound lady who needs gentle handling. We loved cuddling her. Belinda’s communication was perfect. We knew what to expect. She shared a detailed document about the dogs and the house upfront. We would be more than happy to come back at anytime and can highly recommend to house sit for Belinda and Mick.
