Excellent sit - Christopher was communicative and Moki and Noodle were great. There were clear instructions for taking care of the pets and the house was accessible via public transit. Moki is adorable and easy to care for; I never saw Noodle unfortunately! It's a beautiful house and right next to trails. Would sit again and recommend!
Due to this being a fairly local sit for us, we were able to pop over to meet everybody prior to the sit starting. This meant that Mig could show us around, where to walk the dogs etc which was really useful. Toffie is an excitable puppy - very adorable and Wizard is very cuddly and chilled. Mig has a lovely comfortable home, and we were made to feel very welcome. We had a lovely time with them all, thank you for having us.

Gnocchi is a very easy cat to take care of, she was pretty welcoming from the get go, engaging in playing with her toys and coming up to be brushed. She was pretty entertaining when going for the laser or interacting with the neighbor cat through the window. The place is very peaceful, Shannon is welcoming, communicating through the stay!

My experience with Dog Days and Cat Naps has always been a good one. This year, however, was the best ever! I left my elderly cat, Daisy, to go on a family vacation. I was worried if she would be all right. I met Tim and he made me feel a lot better. While I was gone I received pictures every day and saw that Daisy was just fine and seemed to have fallen in love with Tim. I will always use this business as long as I have a pet. I highly recommend them!

I use DD&CN three days a week. It’s easy to schedule on line. Set up an informational meeting and meet who will take your dog out. I am 100% comfortable with my walker, Karen, she loves on my dog and you get visit feedback. The best part is if Karen can’t make it, they send someone else who reads my dogs profile and I don’t have to scramble at work, calling a friend to let my pup out. I was very happy with Dogdays catnaps, their prices were very reasonable, especially since I have multiple dogs. We used Dog Days for a sitter and transport services during our wedding and could not have been happier! Excellent business! My sitter was extremely accommodating in taking care of my skittish older dog and managing the household while I was out of town. She was patient and clearly a dog lover and my pet took to her right away. She really wanted him to feel comfortable and happy. The business is well run and responsive and the rates are reasonable. I like the fact that there are several sitters available in the event of an emergency.
Love this service. We had a new puppy I was nervous about leaving him for a full day and they took him on last minute with in-home boarding. They took really good care of him and out for walks verses being in a crate/kennel all day alone. Great people and I would highly recommend the boarding or the dog walking service where you get a nice daily report of how they did each day while you were gone. (also love the text updates!)

We had to come in town on short notice for a funeral and were unable to secure boarding for our lab and golden before leaving. Luckily, our hotel was near Sawgrass Pet Resort. We contacted the staff the morning of the services and they were able to take in our pups on short notice, and gave our dogs a great day playing games instead of stuck inside a hotel room all day. We are grateful beyond words for the care they were able to give our pups, and were surprised to get some artwork from them when we picked them up. We frequently visit the area, and are so glad to have a place we can bring our dogs to play when we visit our family here. Thank you so much!

My pups have been going to SPR for a while, and I have always loved their services. They care and know them as if they are their own, are always accommodating and responsive. They have recently expanded their services to include training and grooming, and it truly is a one stop shop. The trainer, Monika, works wonders. I have two Pomeranians that are so friendly and sweet, but unpredictable, whether it was reacting to leashed dogs, running out of the house, barking at dogs on TV. Being 4 years old, I had written it off as being part of the lively breed and I would just have to manage it. Monika came in and worked with them consistently, in many different environments and scenarios. She truly understands dogs and their behaviors, and is never harsh or punishing. Most importantly, she worked with us to train and arm us with the skills needed to ensure they are continually trained, stimulated, and have structure throughout their day. They no longer react to other dogs or other stimuli, patiently wait at the door, don't pull on the leash, and are just generally well behaved dogs! You can tell they are also happier and more at peace, which brings us peace. Thank you Monika!
Sawgrass Pet Resort is the only place I’d trust with my sweet fur babies. I have been coming here for over a year and have only had positive experiences! As I pull up to the building, my babies whine to get out of the car so they can play with their friends and see their favorite staff. Not only is the facility beautiful and clean, but the dedicated staff and owner truly care about the pups and treat them as if they were their own. The pictures they send every day reassures me that my pups are having a blast! At the end of the day, my pups are knocked out from the day of fun! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Marissa at Sawgrass Pet Resort is the best dog trainer around! 🙌💯 Not only is she very knowledgeable to the specifics of dog behavior, but she treated my dog with patience and care. My dog 🐶 can be a handful sometimes, he has high energy ⚡️high drive 🚘 loves to play 🛝 and gets distracted very easily! My dog didn’t know the very basic commands before working with Marissa. Implementing the training in home and having your dog listen outside of training can be hard; but Marissa’s guidance, training, and steps to implement in the home is extremely easy to follow. Not only does my dog have advanced training, now I do as well!!! He stays on his place when he needs to relax, listens very attentively to me, and doesn’t pull on his leash at the first distraction (something he could never do before!!) I am so grateful for Marissa that she taught my dog (and me) the skills to succeed!!! 🙌🙌
I bring all three of my pups to sawgrass and from the first time I did the tour, I was sure this was the right place for my babies! Staff and owner are wonderful and treat every pup as if they were their own. My female hound is very shy but all staff has made her feel so loved. My other two love it there, especially my older lab, who feels like a young puppy when she goes to daycare! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for doggie daycare or boarding!

If I could give more stars than 5 I would. Denise and Christine took care of our large and diverse pet family for a week after our pet sitter of many years recently moved away. The idea of having to have someone new come over was worrying because we have a lot going on and it’s not an easy task. Denise and Christine are AMAZING. They took time and patience to gain the trust of our very old and grumpy chihuahua who gave them hell the first few visits along with juggling multiple other cats, dogs and a indoor/outdoor pot belly pig. I got thorough reviews after every visit along with cute pictures and updates on each individual pet, they kept the house tidy and even took out the trash can to the road on recycling day. My old dog required medicine 3 times a day which made me really anxious but they even sent pics of him eating it so I could rest assured he was getting what he needed. They loved every single one like their own and I couldn’t be more thankful and impressed. We have definitely found our new pet sitters and now have no reservations about going away knowing our children will be loved and cared for while we are gone. Thank you so much Denise and Christine along with Bad to the Bone - you are top notch with the service you provide and I highly highly recommend.
I hired bad to the bone twice to care for my mini horse Fitzgerald. They always do a great job and follow directions. Bonus part is you can see the visit and where they walked which I love since exercise is critical to my horses wellbeing.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful and totally professional care given to my pups by Christine for an overnight stay while we were out of town. My dogs loved Christine and she loved her time with them as well. Three little terriers can be quite a handful at times but Christine managed the house and them with ease. At the same time she managed to keep in touch with us about the dogs and send us amazingly adorable pictures throughout the stay. It’s comforting to know your babies are receiving such good care and we will use Bad to the Bone again soon.
Have used BTTB and Doug Keeling since we first arrived to Jacksonville in 2016. They’ve been there and have helped us and loved our pets like we do - through sickness, health and death! They’ve always “been there” for us, and for each of them, through thick and thin. They’ve called us in the middle of our vacations to let us know that we had a very sick kitty and Doug personally has sat for hours at the vet with our kitty to make sure he got the best care. Doug and the caregivers each followed up for several days after we got home to follow up on Loki‘s and then Moki‘s health And treatment progress. They’ve taken Salem for her beauty come outs and trim treatment and taken her, Rocker & Sampson for nail trims (that’s quite a price cess with our three dogs). Will continue with BTTB until all pets have passed on. Give them a try - you and your pets - will appreciate it.

First time cat owner here. My husband and I hired Mayra for a few drop ins while we were on a 10 day vacation. During our meet & greet, she spent about an hour at our home getting to know us and our 8 month old kitten, MoonKnight while answering all our questions. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and being away from MoonKnight for more than 4 days. Mayra's knowledge and experience with caring for cats as she has her own reassured us of our decision to hire her. She even accommodated a last minute emergency drop in request when I noticed on our camera footage that MoonKnight accidentally closed his kennel door while playing near it. This wouldn't be such a big deal if his litter pan wasn't located inside his kennel. I was at the airport and feeling stressed! I immediately texted Mayra around 7:30 am on a weekday explaining the situation and asked if she could drop in the same day. Thankfully, she responded soon after and accommodated my last minute request. I felt so grateful and relieved. I really appreciated that she didn't give us a hard time as I felt bad for blowing up her phone with texts so early in the morning. I felt at peace leaving for vacation knowing that we could trust Mayra to handle everything. Mayra always arrived early or on time for her drop ins and she would send us photos of MoonKnight while we were away. He was showing her his belly (a sign of trust) by the last drop in :) She's a caring, professional, and experienced cat sitter. We highly recommend her and would hire her again.

Frieda was a life saver! My wife and I had to attend my Father’s funeral out of state, Frieda was affordable, and she really made us worry less about our two mini dachshunds, whom we’ve never left with anyone before! Puppy Playhouse has been a life saver the past two years. My 3 dogs were there for almost 3 weeks while we were away in Europe!! We have been using Puppy Playhouse for over a year since we moved here! Our animals love going here and I love that they get to play and they are not caged up and only allowed out for two times to play like other boarding facilities offer. They get to play along with other dogs in the dog daycare program which is great!! Plus the owners are super awesome and very friendly:)
Our dog loves it here! We have a very emotional/protective dog, who has not had the best history with boarding. After his first day of daycare and mentioning his past issues, the staff were completely surprised, since he did SO well there. We have had no issues taking him for the day, weekend, or grooming and he always comes home tired from playing all day. It is nice to pick him up and see the staff holding/petting him...he is not the kind of dog to let ANYONE other than mom or dad hold him.They really get to know each dog and cater to their individual needs. Highly recommend Puppy Playhouse!!

They give military discount, so I thought it was very nice that they have that for our military families here. We had a wonderful experience with 9 to 5 Pets! Payton was thorough and provided a detailed report for our dogs after each visit. We enjoyed the pictures that she took during each visit. We could tell our dogs were happy and well taken care of. We already have 9 to 5 Pets booked for another trip and would recommend to anyone in need of a pet sitter.
The whole team of 9 to 5 Pets is outstanding. They arrive on time every time and they show great love and care to our two dogs. This is the first time we have used this service and we are very, very pleased.
My family and I were very impressed with 9 to 5 Pets and the pet care providers who provided care for our two rescue dogs in our home while we were on vacation. Payton was just awesome! She was very prompt and detailed in her visits for my cat Yoshi with her descriptive write ups and assortment of photos of her caring for him. It was my 1st time leaving Yoshi overnight and was a bit apprehensive but Payton put that to rest by making me feel totally reassured he was ok😄👍 a great pet sitter she is! 💯

First time using 9 to 5. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Our caregiver, Payton, was excellent. She gave us complete peace of mind while we were away and provided great communication and feedback on how our animals were doing. Our experience with 9 to 5 couldn’t have been better.
9 to 5 is very thorough with background checks for their employees. The online portal is an excellent source to see your schedule and communicate with them. I highly recommend 9 to 5.
9 to 5 Pets is the absolute best pet service! The owner Jennifer and our sitter Lauren were fabulous. We have 3 rescue cats who may have never realized we were gone for 9 days because they are so good, loving and caring with what they do. We were updated every visit with pictures and lots of communication. I was able to actually relax on vacation knowing what good hands my babies were in. They also picked up my mail and brought in and put up my Local Fare produce delivery! I highly recommend them and will never use any other service.
