Candice was very friendly and kept the house in good condition. She even washed some bedding she used. My only complaint was the dog walks were super short (many times only to go out and pee) and they only got outside a couple of times a day.
Pat and Jim trusted us to care for Sadie, and will forever be linked to us as our first official house sit on this amazing platform. Caring for Sadie was a joy, her personality and talkative nature over the days and nights we cared for her kept us entertained. We did meet beautiful Lucy when we arrived however Pat & Jim took her along on their road trip. This is a highly recommended home in an amazing setting. We visited Newport RI as well as Providence during our stay, each only about 30 min from this location. The kitchen was a dream to work in (chef talk) and the super fast internet provided the opportunity to stay connected. We could have stayed a week exploring the trails and taking care of Sadie, would certainly go back.
Caitlin was responsive and easy to communicate with ahead of and during the sit. She made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Moose might look intimidating but she is a perfectly behaved gentle giant. The comfort and luxury of Caitlin’s home combined with the beautiful scenery and so much to see/do (surf, hiking, riding, wining & dining) in the area made this feel more like a vacation than a Housesit. 100% would sit for Caitlin again.
It was a true pleasure housesitting for the Susans. They had great communication and were very warm and welcoming. I drove them to the airport and got a chance to talk with them, and think they are lovely and interesting people. Scout wasn’t home, so I can’t comment on her, but Tara was a total dear. She is very low maintenance, sweet, gentle, and cuddly. I found her to be a very social cat. Not overly needy, but definitely preferring to be close to you and enjoying a warm lap and gentle pets when available. The home and property is beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. The bed is comfortable, and I had everything I needed to make myself at home.
If you have the opportunity to spend time with Maggie, Penny, and Kitty it is a must! Maggie and Penny are loving, affectionate, and well-behaved pups. Kitty loves all the pets. Maggie and Penny give the best couch snuggles. Jess and Ben were great communicators throughout the entire process. Their house is immaculate and luxurious.
I had a lovely time housesitting for Gerri and watching summer! The house had everything I needed and incredible views. Summer is the sweetest dog ever and loves to cuddle. Gerri was great at communicating everything I needed to know.
I highly doubt I will find a better sit than Monica’s! Her house is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Walking the dog there is such a pleasant experience with so many flowers and plants to look at. It’s also close to several parks and highway. Her dog Bo and cat Nutty are very easy to care for and loving. We bonded quickly and I already miss them. Her house is lovely with a pretty garden and very quiet. I was able to work easily there with the high speed internet and plenty of space
