Maria took care of our 2 cats as her own. The flat well left super tidy and plants were watered. She was also updating us with cats pictures and videos, which was very nice. I would highly recommend her for everybody.

From the first call we had with her, Jessica's energy shown through and we knew she would be an amazing housesitter for Tywin! He instantly approached her even though he's usually shy with new people. She very graciously made our conflicting schedules work and arrived a day early to meet us. She sent me daily the cutest pictures of Tywin cuddling and working with her. It was a pleasure having her sit for us and we look forward to welcoming her again!

Astrid and J-C were absolutely fabulous. Our two large dogs took to them both immediately. Sometimes when it's obvious that we are packing to go away our golden retriever gives us the 'you're not leaving me are you?' look. We didn't even get that as we left them! Astrid and J-C are a lovely professional couple who clearly like the outdoors and our two dogs loved all the exercise, including running with them, which we can no longer do as much as we used to. I can't recommend them more highly.

MARIO EDGAR

Sharon and Mario are absolutely wonderful!! Due to the Christmas price jump the day before my travel, they came 2 days early and we had a lovely time together: Sharon taught me how to make arepas one evening, I enjoyed cute cuddles with their very calm and content 4 month old baby, and we stayed up chatting about travels and jobs. They were keen to learn all about Panda (the cat) and his routine, and I was able to walk them through his evening routine of feeding etc. They were wonderful with him, even though he can be a bit feisty at times. They seemed to really bond and Mario even had the honour(!) of Panda jumping up on his lap. Mario and Sharon speak Spanish together, French with me, and then Sharon and I spoke English when it was just the two of us. It was a first experience on TH for all of us so we took a leap of faith and it absolutely paid off. They are just wonderful people and they respected the space and left it really clean. I hope to stay in touch and I'd welcome them back in a heartbeat.

Lisa is a truly wonderful house sitter whom I could not recommend more! She is super communicative, reliable, and thoughtful, and made our travel much easier than anticipated. She was very willing prepping ahead of our trip, and sent many photos of our cat during to ease our mind. She left the house clean and tidy. She is genuinely a kind and respectful person whom I would love to swap again!

Olivia

Can’t recommend Olivia and Arthur enough. From the beginning, they were very easy to communicate with and were very flexible to accommodate our needs on timing. They came to meet the cats before we left, and it was apparent right away that they’re real animal lovers - both cats were calm and happy on our return. We have some heavy plant care requirements during the summer, and even though the weather was hot the entire time we were away, we came back to a healthy and well tended garden. The house was very tidy and all was well cared for. Would love to have them back!

Francisca Jesus

From the moment Francisca and I spoke on the phone, I had a great feeling about her. Once she arrived to collect the key and meet my dog Oliver, and he ran up and sat by her feet with his tail wagging, I knew she was going to be perfect and was able to relax and fully enjoy my time away. Francisca was great at communicating, and once she came in, was completely self sufficient and in charge. She sent me frequent photos and video of Oliver and I could tell he was in good hands and very happy. I came home to a clean and tidy place, and couldn’t have been more satisfied with Francisca - from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend her as a sitter and would gladly have her back here to look after Ollie any time.

Pete & June were wonderful sitters and people. Very kind, thoughtful and friendly. Our dogs loved them. They were very punctual, and came day early so we could show them around. They were very organized, practical and self-sufficient. They cared for our dogs very much and sent us regular updates. We would recommend them to any pet owners with middle/large breeds as they also managed our dogs who can be pullers sometimes on the leash and are not easiest to walk. We felt very comfortable and we knew our dogs were in safe hands. They also used our car without any problems. The flat was nice and clean when we came back and our dogs looked happy and well taken for.

Hugo was amazing! My dog (also named Hugo) loved staying with him and Hugo (the human) took such great care of my dog and our apartment. He was communicative and pleasant, and a great sitter.

Louna is very sweet, responsible, caring, and nurturing. She got to our apartment on time and was ready to start the sit with an awesome disposition (it was early!) She was very caring with our pets. Whenever she had any questions or concerns in regards to the pets she didn't hesitate to contact us. She is a great guest and a great housesitter. She is welcome back if she comes back this way. Juliet

This was a truly wonderful sit. 

Juliet and Jamie welcomed me to their stunning home the night before they went on their trip.  We had a lovely meal together and they showed me the ropes with home and pets.  I slept very soundly in my ‘Scottish’ room. 

Lily and Poppy (mother and daughter) are beautiful dogs, and it didn’t take long for them to settle with me. I spent most of my week with them at the property as I was working ‘from home’.  We were so very lucky with the weather, and the house is in the middle of some stunning countryside walks that Poppy led me on. She knows the land very well!   

Lily strolled around the gardens with me regularly as it was often too hot for her to go further afield.

This really is a very special sit, and I felt fortunate to have been entrusted with it.   10/10.

Ann and Tim made me feel so welcome and did everything they could to orientate and prepare me for the housesit. They are super laidback, and Zora is a sweet, fun dog whom I was sad to leave. I also very much enjoyed meeting the lovely folks in their community. I highly recommend sitting for them if you get the chance.

We both adored our time at Gabe’s with Marcel and Tali! They were honestly the sweetest dogs and were a pleasure to care for. Gabe’s place was beautiful and we felt very welcome. Gabe was very organised and was great to communicate with both before and during our stay. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to sit again.

Buddy and Lizzie are a pleasure to look after, they’re both very loving. Patricia’s home is modern, comfortable and in a great location. The polo grounds are within walking distance - a great place to walk the dogs.  Patricia’s communication was perfect, we felt at home right away!! There are lots of places to explore whilst here too. You’re 5 minutes from the beautiful marina of Sotogrande, which has some brilliant restaurants, you’re 35 minutes or so to Puerto Banus/Marbella - which has amazing shopping and you’re about 25 minutes from Gibraltar. The beach is close by and Buddy loves to go for a swim!  Would look after the dogs again anytime!! Thanks for a wonderful sit Patricia.

I love sitting for Rebekah and Byron! Moose and Roux were such amazing dogs to be around. They were full of love and always up for a play. They both loved going to the park and play fetch with the ball.
