We had a wonderful experience staying with Stacy, Beau, and Bentley, this lovely pack with adorable personalities. Tracey was great, preparing everything in advance, and providing detailed instructions on how to handle the pets and the house. Francesca, their tenant, was also a delight and we had a great time during our evening meals together.
A warm helpful welcome was given by Louise. My car had broken down and had to be taken to a nearby garage in Lincoln. Without hesitation, Louise came and collected me. The dogs are wonderful. They are cheeky and fun to be with although one is poorly, there was still a smile on its face, and much enjoyment to be walked slowly by your side while there other chases here and there. The hospitality was very warm, and helpful too from Robert. A warm fire lite in the sitting room, and a wonderful (electric blanket) comfortable bed. Geese and chickens are very friendly, too.
Really enjoyed this sit with sweet Clementine for company! Kelly and Steve have a gorgeous home and left comprehensive instructions that set me up for success. Would happily come back.
I had a wonderful, relaxing time with Lavender in a unique neighborhood in Cleveland, OH. Caroline is a very easy and welcoming person. Lavender is healthy and kind. Lavender sleeps most of the day, she is low maintenance, very healthy, she allows you to pet her and she is amazingly silky and soft, she will come and cuddle with you. If you get lucky you will see her zoomies after dinner. Caroline's apartment is located in a nice neighborhood, very walkable and right next to the red line train. The grocery store is 2 minutes by foot. Thus, you do not need a car. You can get to/from airport by the red line, and you can explore Cleveland using public transportation. I enjoyed my stay and I hope to be invited again.
Kellie has a full house! The two cats and one dog were a lot of fun. Lyra was friendly and communicative and let me know when she wanted to have a walk. The two cats had very different personalities with Weasley being more social and Fleur a bit removed. They kept me company while I worked and Weasley and Lyra made me laugh with how they provoked the other. South Lake Union was an easy neighborhood to walk around and get to know and Lyra led the way to her favorite spots. The dog park one corner up was convenient too. Thank you Kellie for allowing me to spend time with your fur babies.
Shawn has been so kind and nice and I am so happy that I had a chance to housesit for him. We called and then met prior the sit to explain everything and hand over the keys. Shawn left printed instructions, with notes and extra tips for the area, which was super nice. I knew exactly what to do. Dax and Donna are both amazing, SO cool and chill. We were friends with Dax immediately, but Donna took a few days to warm up to me. They weren’t really so much into playing, but they made sure to get their cuddles under their favourite circumstances. Whenever they needed something, they made sure to show me. Dax immediately knew when I felt down and made sure to check in if I am alright. He had his routine of going out for a couple of hours every day (if I let him), which I was a bit worried about at first, but it turned out to be very easy and he would always come back checking if I am waiting for him. That was also the time for Donna to have her daily attention and brushing. It was really nice and easy to be around them. The apartment was amazing, the location as well. I feel it cannot get any better than this in Berlin. The whole experience was really wonderful. I am grateful for being chosen to do this sit and I will be super happy to come back and housesit for Shawn again! Thank you!!!
