Amber and Yael are amazing couple who love their home and pets so much! We really enjoyed the happy time with the boys: Zeus and Finn. They are low maintenance, always gentle and polite when they ask for cuddles. Finn has lots of toys to keep himself busy and Zeus is pretty chill enjoying napping most of the day. Their home was super clean and cozy, close to everything. Highly recommend for future sitters! Definitely let me know if you need help with the boys, we love them very much! 🥰
Dorothy and Michael were incredibly welcoming and wanted to ensure that we were warm, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay, which we did. We really enjoyed looking after all the animals. Millie is a beautiful soul and very gentle. She’s not able to walk very much these days, as she’s quite elderly, but she likes being out for a sniff and to try to eat whatever she can find, so you have to watch out for that. Beetroot the cat is gorgeous. She’s not a fan of the dog - so is a lot more relaxed when Millie isn’t around. At those times she’s incredibly affectionate and sweet, more changeable at other times. She’s also quite vocal which I love. The chickens left us delicious eggs every day and the alpacas were amusing. The whole menagerie were really quite low maintenance. We got a lot more from them than they did from us. The house is very comfortable, warm and although large, cosy. The location is really quiet which we enjoy. You will likely need a car though as services and facilities aren’t walkable. If you’re working from home, the Wi-Fi will do the trick, except if you’re working on multiple files which are stored on the cloud (rather than on your laptop). I did find the download and upload speeds slower than I’m used to. All in all, a lovely and very relaxing stay. A real home from home.
This sit was absolutely heavenly and we feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time there. Caroline is an incredible host! She is just so kind and wonderful. And Buffy is the sweetest, most lovable dog ever! We had so much fun playing together. We will miss her! This is definitely a five-star stay!
We had the best weekend caring for Smudge and Batman! They are the cutest little bunnies and Alana had everything ready for us to make the sit so easy! On the first day, the bunnies were a little hesitant around us but that’s to be expected. With each day they got more comfortable and let us cuddle them more and more. We loved our long weekend in Alana’s beautiful home. Excellent location close to the beach, shops, cafe and restaurants. Alana was informative before the stay so we felt equipped to care for the bunnies. We would 100% recommend this stay and would love to sit for the bunnies again. Thanks again for choosing us!
This was a nice sit! The apartment is located 10-12 mins from public transport and 5-10 mins from all that cobble hill has to offer. Zelda was a cute dog who loved attention and was happy to play all day and go on runs. The sit would be great for those who want to explore Brooklyn and spend time with a very affectionate and playful dog! Thanks for having us :)

There’s NO other person I trust with my fur babies except the Per Nanny. My fur baby suffers from separation anxiety and it is a struggle to find someone willing and happy to accommodate her needs. I have used The Pet Nanny for various pet services & have always had exceptional experiences. The negative reviews posted above appear to be a result of personal issues and don’t belong here. What I can say is that The Pet Nanny loves & cares for all animals she comes in contact with. She listens carefully to any special needs/requests & treats pets with love and kindness. I’ve never had an issue with her entering our home while we were away to attend to the pets. Please don’t allow these slanderous reviews to hinder the prosperity and success of this hard-working small business owner. She certainly loves animals & would never harm them. not worth the prices. she doesn’t have a backyard for the dogs to run around in and had my dog locked in the cage for hours. i didn’t trust her in my home because i don’t know people but my dog came back somewhat institutionalized.
I appreciate the convenience of Simone’s availability but I found out that she did not follow the care instructions I provided for my dog. That was disappointing.
I love these guys! They took such good care of our sweet baby. We needed a short term walker. She’s a Shiba Inu and as a breed they’re expert escape artists. We are constantly watchful. We had no worries with Ethan, Joe, and Alyssa. They were on time, patient, thorough, and most importantly, loving. Alyssa even threw herself in front of an aggressive stray to protect our pup. They worked flexibly with our schedule. Our dog was very excited to see them each day. Thank you so much. We will miss you and your kind service.
Joe does an incredible job caring for our pups, Bailie and Murphy! We have had several good in home sitters over the years, but the quality of care that Joe provides is head and shoulders above the rest! Live Bark Walk has extremely professional staff. They are thorough in their consultation to ensure they understand all your desires in caring for your pet but also to learn your pet and its personality. They even did a group walk with me during the consult to learn my dogs as well as ensure the dogs were comfortable with them. I used them for the first time for a full week and never worried about whether they were showing up or if my dogs were getting enough exercise. I can’t recommend them enough.
Joe is without a doubt the best in his business. He is so professional, caring, and prompt. He sends texts or a short video of walking your dog. Joe is great. He walks my beagle Daisy once or twice a day depending on my schedule. I jokingly call him my "dog runner" because he runs rather than walks with Daisy when she is full of energy. Daisy is very social and vocal. Joe understands and works with those traits rather than being annoyed by them. Joe has gotten to know the neighbors by carefully letting Daisy meet folks they pass on their route. Joe is punctual but flexible regarding my schedule changes. I cannot imagine a better dog walking service.
We love Joe and now his new partner Susan. They both go above and beyond when visiting with our dogs. Rain or shine, we know they are getting exercised and loved on. Having the personal relationship and trust with a privately owned business is so worth it when deciding between dog walkers. We would highly recommend Live Bark Walk to anyone in the area.
Joe is the best! He walked my two dogs, Mugsey and Stella, in Florida before moving to Georgia. Not only was Joe incredibly reliable and trustworthy, he spent quality time with my dogs and was always on the lookout for anything that might be wrong with them. Joe always left detailed notes about his walks with Mugz and Stella and text messaged photos too. When Mugsey was diagnosed with diabetes, Joe took extra care with him and he helped me teach Stella how to "stay." To this day, he still checks up on my dogs - we all miss Joe very much. You cannot go wrong with him.
