Erica watched my senior dog and cat for 12 days while I was traveling internationally. She was organized, responsive, and took excellent care of both my animals and my apartment while I was away. She sent me photos during the stay and my pets absolutely adored her. She has watched my pets before and I always trust her to take excellent care of them.

Traveling internationally and leaving my pets in the care of a sitter always makes me a little nervous, since I won't always be immediately reachable. However, Erica's communication and obvious competency made me feel very comfortable about leaving my pets in her care while I was away. It's very obvious she adores spending time with the pets and caring for them.

I came home to a clean apartment and very happy and healthy pets. I would highly recommend Erica for any of your sits!

Lynn and John
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks in Salisbury taking care of Jake! We arrived a few days before John and Lynn left for their trip, but the four of us connected as if we were old friends. Lynn picked us up from the airport and made dinner for us that evening. The next day, she took us to get groceries, gave me a tour of Salisbury as we ran errands, and shared many restaurant tips! John and Lynn took us on the boat to a wonderful restaurant on the other side of the lake. Lynn explained everything thoroughly about their home and caring for Jake and also provided a VERY detailed guidebook to answer any questions. They have a lovely home and keep everything very neat, clean, and organized. The outdoor spaces are spectacular...John keeps the lawn meticulously manicured and has beautiful plants everywhere! It was very relaxing to sit on the deck with the view of the lake, a coffee in hand each morning and wine in the evening.

Jake is one of the most amazing dogs we have ever cared for during our sit experiences. He has such a chilled out temperment, so gentle, and very loyal. We were honored that Jake chose us to be part of his pack before mom and dad left for their trip. He is VERY well trained with verbal commands and we never had difficulty with obedience because we practiced frequently. Jake knows to lay on his blanket on the couch and was so funny because he kept trying to scoot off the blanket a little at a time just to "test" and see if he could. He's like a toddler, so full of life and fun! Jake loves to go for walks in the neighborhood but what he loves most is swimming in the lake. As soon as I got the life jacket out, Jake knew we were going in! I created a routine...I opened the gate to their private dock, we'd run down the dock together and jump in, then swim back to do it all over again! One of the biggest joys during our stay was to see Jake having so much fun! He enjoys laying in the sunshine on the window seat in the kitchen, one of his favorite spots. Jake would also come outside and jump into the lawn chairs with us to catch some rays! He just wants to be where you are, although at night we couldn't sleep with Jake on our bed. So we improvised and brought a large footstool into the bedroom and put it next to the bed. Jake "agreed" to sleep there since he was just a couple inches lower than our bed yet he could still be near us and see me. What a personality he has!

We didn't leave the house much (by choice) but it was nice to have Lynn's big Ford truck available to use for groceries and going for walks. Jake also likes taking rides and is very well behaved in the back seat. John and Lynn allowed us to use their kayaks and we enjoyed taking them out to the nearby island. The neighbors were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We shared dinner with one couple and were later invited with several other couples to breakfast. It was as if we had always lived there! This was an amazing sit for us and we highly recommend John and Lynn if you have the opportunity to love on their wonderful dog Jake!

What a great life's work Sandra has done in creating this wonderful place in France. I got to live in one of the apartments of his wonderful holiday home. Because I love animals and the countryside, I'm social and I really like community, Sandra's place was perfect for me. I finally found the sheeps, I've been missing sheeps so much. The chickens were very sociable, it was fun to spend time with them and their sociability surprised me. Mother duck always brought a smile to my face, because she was a real mother figure and followed her children very carefully and protectively. The cats, oh the softness and the amount of purring...One of them was very fond of talking with me and especially in the evenings sat on my lap being stroked and purring. The flower and untility gardens are certainly wonderful in the summer, but they also offered joy and treats this time of year. Everything Sandra asked for was easy to handle (the instructions were good) and if you're not busy and want to tinker, your time won't be long and you can always come up with something to do. Sandra's place is about 5 km outside the beautiful village in a small community with some wonderful old houses. Because Sandra is lovely, open and social, she also has wonderful friends. I got to know her couple of friends better and to tell you the truth, now we have same friends 😍 I firmly believe that I will return to Saint-Nicolas-du-Pélem and if Sandra has a sitter position that fits my schedule, I would take it again without hesitation. Thank you Sandra, thank you for the wonderful home and thank you for the wonderful animals ❤️

Jane
I'm weighing in here and largely echoing what previous sitters have said on being invited into Jane and Andy's abode with Pepper. My week there was brilliant, especially because it was my first time in Sheffield. This city is now tagged up on the wall as somewhere to make a beeline for in the future.

Jane and Andy were a pleasure to speak to from the get go, also offering for me to go a day earlier to close the gap on a previous sit which was great. Welcoming and considerate on arriving, and thorough with giving me the low down on the house and Pepper. Very quickly armed with all the info needed to see me through the seven days. Jane also regularly checked in with me, which is reassuring in knowing that she's easily reachable if needed.

After you've done a chunk of sits, you get a measure of what sets them apart and puts them at the top of the list to revisit. Jane and Andy's house is in such a sweet spot of Sheffield, with a solid choice of walks right from their doorstep. For any other sitters who appreciate a daily switch up in walks, you'll be spoilt. Pepper is raring to go, plenty of energy to get out there and zip around with you - she's also got her top spots, so you'll be seeing those. I took her right across town to the flea market, The Kelham Flea, and she exposed herself again to be quite the conversation starter after all the affection-seeking from strangers. Never leave a dog behind (unless you absolutely must), and she's quite the city explore buddy. Gorgeous, gregarious girl.

Beyond diving into the green spots, I loved their neighbourhood for independent shops, cafes, bars. I'd definitely be up for revisiting and will be actively pursuing to come again after adding this into my favourites for new date notifications.

It has been a wonderful experience. The family is lovely, they welcomed us great and they also had the kindness to leave their car for us and come pick us up at the station, you couldn't ask for more! The cats were adorable, they made you feel at home. They are very affectionate and easy to care for, we will miss them very much. Let's hope one day we can return! thanks for everything!
