Veerle and Nick stayed with our dogs for a month! We never worried about a thing. They sent us updates at our requested frequency and it looked like the dogs had a good time while we were away and went on plenty of great hikes. The dogs required no "retraining" when we returned home (as sometimes is the case). Veerle and Nick left everything in order upon our return. Communication before the trip and during was excellent. Laura & Merlin were a joy from start to finish. Laura’s very friendly & easy to get to know - extremely flexible, thoughtful and welcoming. We worked well together throughout the sit, taking everything in stride as we went along. On top of the welcome guide, we spoke & texted to fill in what I needed to know about Merlin ahead of the sit. I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. Communication was a breeze and prompt. Despite her tight schedule, Laura made sure everything was sitter ready and handed over a sitter ready home - which is always much appreciated by sitters. Catcliffe is an accessible location and the house is in a nice neighborhood & conveniently located to other nearby amenities as well. Unfortunately it was raining and cold the short time I was there but Merlin more than made up for the weather. He’s an absolute joy to sit, independent, incredibly well behaved, affectionate and loved company. We hit it off from the moment I arrived and bonded nicely. Without exaggeration Merlin is such a character. Just give him time & space to trust you. Win his trust to unravel his endearing personality, bed time snuggles on his terms of course. Best to let him come to you to ask/signal for strokes. Truly such a joy and a breeze to care for and tons of fun. He loved being brushed & playtime. It resonated with me the commitment Laura made in giving Merlin a loving home . Merlin is clearly a happier kitty for it. In closing, massive thanks Laura for picking and trusting me with darling Merlin and your cozy home. I miss my full on conversations and snuggles with him. He’s such an endearing intuitive kitty and I love him for it. I recommend this sit and the absolute joy of sitting gorgeous Merlin.
There are some people whom one meets on life's journey and to whom one feels drawn , simply by their energy.... a sort of joie de vivre , which is attractive and alluring. This is what I felt on reading Henrietta's listing. A freshness , a sense of humour and a joy. On our first conversation on the telephone, in which she was joined by her equally affable husband ,David, my son and I both agreed that this was a setting in which we would like to spend some time. We knew that Hard Acre House lay in the fertile Kent countryside about five miles from Canterbury , but we could never envisage the location. Nor the welcome. Arriving early to be 'shown the ropes', Henrietta dropped tools ( she was preparing to attend her son's wedding in France next day !) and companionably led us on a beautiful and comprehensive itinerary over fields of stubble, through organic apple fields, through neighbours' gardens, past idyllic ponds , by red telephone boxes , converted to lending libraries ...all to prepare us thoroughly for our time with Dexter. And all this under a hot English sun ! Cheerful and outgoing. Then , as if by magic , in the idyllic garden, under the shade of an ancient Ash tree, a leisurely lunch was served .. and savoured ... David's delicious quiche and a great salad of produce from the garden , all seemingly effortlessly appearing as if by magic. And, in the ensuing conversation, in David and Henrietta, we discovered that these were sincere people who were genuinely interested in my son's career in Special Eduction , not just paying lip service to it. Refreshing. Some more advice , this time to Gareth on Chicken husbandry ,as David had recently acquired three fine Bluebell Chickens and the excitement of their efforts at laying was palpable. Another evening walk with Dexter and , again the table was lain in a different location in the garden, this time to accommodate 10 of us , facilitating meeting with Henrietta and David's neighbours. All of whom were welcoming and promised all manner of support , should we need it. I thought this was a lovely touch. This is a magnificent old house , low beams , creaky floorboards but so comfortable. Lashings of hot water, comfortable, clean beds and a silence that you could almost touch. The gardens were stocked with loads of produce which we watered and were very happy to savour in salads and soups. Raspberries and figs to follow. At night , stars were clear in a pitch black sky. But, by far ,the brightest star was Dexter! Such a graceful golden Lurcher. We were told that he would take us on a tour of Kent and this was no exaggeration. Calmly and efficiently, his long pointed nose our compass, he negotiated little lanes , alleys , paths through woods, along lines of apple trees, their boughs heavy with the Bramley crop and in and out of the River Stour. He particularily enjoyed a walk and a pub lunch !!! As did we ! David's hens were joyous and their welcome became more voluble as they became more confident with our coming into their enclosure. At one stage , I'm certain that their refrain sounded a little like Purcell's 'Trumpet Voluntary !' Great gentle girls . We did chuckle at their antics at times. Hardacre House will long stay in our memory for so many reasons. And I have not even mentioned its proximity to historic Canterbury and the beaches of Northern Kent . An impeccable sit. Thank you , the Kelly family.
Had a great time looking after Pippin. Such a beautiful being, he loved to get some cuddles and kept me company on Christmas Day. Dipti and Joao were incredibly kind and their hospitality was beyond expectation.
I had such a blast with Chewy. She is a social and talkative cat who enjoys laying closeby! Pia was a wonderful host. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend!

Staying at Marcy's beautiful home on the wonderful island of Roatan felt like time at a stress free resort! Quigley and Alfafa are two beautiful, sweet labs and spending our days with them by the pool was so much fun. Marcy is excellent at communicating, we met a couple of times via Whatsapp video chat to get to know one another and so that she could prep us for the sit. We met with her the day before and she was kind enough to pick us up and drop us at the airport. I highly recommend this housesit and I do hope we are lucky enough to housesit for Marcy again in the future!!

Christine is extremely detail-oriented, loving, punctual, and overall trustworthy- we certainly trust her with our two fur kids' lives! Our dogs love her as well; in fact, since we live in the same neighborhood, one of our dogs gets super excited when she sees Christine's car driving down the street! She will care for your animals as if they were her own, as she has done with ours.
Have a Ball Pet Sitting & Dog Walking is an excellent pet sitting company offering service that goes above and beyond. Christine was our pet sitter and my partner and I were very impressed with her services. Being new to San Diego, we didn't know many people we could ask to watch our dogs. Initially, we were very nervous about having someone we didn't know stay in our home and trust them to care for our babies. As soon as we met Christine we felt a lot better. She just has that professional manner that made us feel very comfortable. She came to meet with us and had all the credentials she mentions on her website. It made us feel more at ease when we knew she had been background checked and had all the proper certifications. She was very down-to-earth, caring and understanding. She is also easy to communicate with and to just deal with, in general. We've used her services a few times and everything always runs like clockwork. When we get home our dogs are always happy and healthy and our home is well taken care of. We can't recommend Have a Ball more. We are very grateful to have found them.
I recently decided to hire a dog walker for a few days a week when I worked late. My dogs were so happy on the days that Christine walked them that I upgraded to everyday walks while I'm at work. My pups are so much calmer when I get home and I don't feel as guilty leaving them. Christine is really easy going and a great dog walker - my pups love her. As the business owner she's also always professional and always has a backup so I am never left high and dry if one of them is sick (something I have experienced with another dog walking service). I can't recommend them more!
Nikole was highly recommended by a friend with 2 large black labs. My two smaller dogs love her as well. Nikole is super communicative and friendly. The updates after their walk is always so delightful to read. Highly recommend!
Nikole is incredible and the only person I trust with my fur babies! She really goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are well cared for when I’m away. My dog is always very excited to see her, loves all the walks and adventures they go on, and she makes sure our cat feels special too with little treats, play time and cat YouTube. Nikole has been pet sitting for us for over 4 years now. She is thorough, reliable, and trustworthy. She even took on learning how to check our diabetic cat's blood sugar and give him insulin. We have a bit of a "revolving door" of senior foster dogs, and she has always willingly cared for them and their special needs also! She has great communication skills and really puts you at ease. I used them a while back because they posted a flyer outside. Walker did not walk as specified. Door was left unlocked. My dog was ok but i was annoyed. A couple days I saw the flyering again and ripping off the flyers from another dog walking company. I went and grabbed one of the flyers and it turns out that this person had decades of experience specific to my dog’s needs. She’s also a small disabled business owner. Because of the poor and APPALLING actions of Finest City, I will never use them again. There are so many dogs in San Diego, and the fact that you felt the need to try to destroy a disabled woman’s business is horrible. Remember, neighbors see you acting poorly

Jon is an angel. They have such a kind spirit and my pup Rufio loves them. The first time I went to drop him off I was worried Rufio would whimper when I left but nope - he happily followed Jon right in the house and didn’t look back (ouch). Jon’s exactly the kind of person you would and should trust your fur babies with.
Can't say enough good things. Jon is very gentle and kind - my dog jumps right out of the car and runs into his house when he boards and jumps right in the van for park days.
Bella has been staying with Jon several times over the past year or so and each time I’m more grateful to have found Sunny Pets! If your dog is like mine, you’ve tried other formats that place dogs in their crates for extended periods and limited outdoor exposure. The experience with sunny pets is the complete opposite and better suited to dogs that need space to roam. Jon takes the pack out for long dog park days and lets them sprawl out on the floor or couch at night. We've relied on Jon / Sunny Pets multiple times in the past couple years for our dogsitting needs. Our four-year-old labradoodle has stayed with Jon overnight multiple times and has gone to the occasional park play as well. We appreciate Jon's reasonable and straight-forward pricing, especially his new online booking system! But our dog loves the attention Jon gives him during his stays and all the park and fetch visits!
Jon and Sunny Pets are INCREDIBLE!!! Our Bailey has the best time ever when we have to overnight her for several days here. Jon is constantly sharing updates on Instagram with the activities our pet is doing plus showing us all the new friends she makes during her stay. Once you put in a request for your pet's stay - Jon sends a full breakdown of the price for everything (weekday rate, weekend, holiday, etc.) Nothing is hidden from you and you don't pay until you have a chance to review the full stay of your pet. I can't thank Jon enough for every time Bailey gets to stay and has the time of her life!
I text Jon whenever I need someone to watch my dog for a full day or over night. She is a high energy, smart/stubborn husky mix, and he does great with her. She likes to play with his dogs Ryker and Yuly, and is always excited to see Jon and them. He picks her up from my house and takes her to the park, and uploads some video clips to instagram so I can see how good a time she's having. She always comes home tired, which is good. Jon is super responsive via text. I'd highly recommend Sunny Pets.
I just moved to San Diego and needed to have my dog, Flapjack, watched while on a trip. Raquel came highly recommended so I figured to give her a shot! Flapjack was a bit anxious at the beginning but Raquel being super knowledgeable kept me informed throughout his whole stay and made him super comfortable! I received picture and well detailed updated regularly - keeping me less anxious as well. I will be certainly having Flapjack visit again so he can play and hang out with all of his new friends!
Raquel is great!!!! I needed to find boarding for my girls kind of last minute and she was so accommodating and flexible. The girls had a great time and were happy and comfortable on their next visit. We will definitely continue to book boarding and eventually day care with Raquel - she’s like a home away from home for the pugs.
I’m compelled to write this review *immediately* after an amazing vacation and a terrible LONG travel day, specifically because of how incredible Raquel was. From the moment I stumbled upon Raquel’s B&B via Google she was so responsive with communication, SO warm, and very accommodating with getting a fast ~10 day booking in. Each time I was able to snag cell service over the course of my trip, logging into her easy peasy app became a highlight - the sweetest narrative updates of my pup Nala’s adventures and amazing pics greeted me. Like many others, I’ve used a range of boarding services trying to find THIS diamond level of care, took me 10 years to find it. For as long as Raquel welcome Nala back I’ll be loyal - it fills my heart to FEEL how passionately Raquel loves dogs. Extra appreciation to her for a late drop off straight to my house which was just above and beyond. Convenience on top of the best care out there? Blown away, and beyond grateful. 👏👏
True professionals. You bring your pup by for a meet n greet first with another dog at the business address. After that, we decided to do single day of daycare to make sure the overnight trip we were planning for wouldn’t be too stressful. For the actual care residence, all dogs are taken to a different, private residence to prevent territorial issues. Raquel is extremely knowledgeable about various breeds, pet aging, reactivity, and the unique needs for comfort each dog may have as they age. The lengthy legal documents required gave me pause initially, but Raquel took the time to explain everything to me and I can see that she just puts meticulously attention to every detail of her work and service to ensure everyone is protected and responsible. Through the 5 day trip I received regular updates, photos, feeding and potty notes, and clearly saw a happy little ham flirting with all the senior puppies there. The in include pick up/drop off in the rate is a fabulous perk and I found the pricing extremely fair for the level of care being offered. I have a nearly 10 y/o Havanese with lots of young spirit still and a very anxious mama. We’ve been together nearly 8 years now and she is the light of my life. My furbaby hates grooming drop offs and is not used to daycares. Well! She sees Raquel and goes RUNNING to be picked up like a little baby. An excellent place to spoil your pup with and allow yourself some peace of mind what traveling for business pleasure, or just allowing your dog a fun day of socializing.
Raquel is super attentive and patient with my baby. My pupper is easily overwhelmed and anxious, but he felt comfortable with Raquel almost immediately, which is super rare. She took care of him like he was a part of her family. He was supposed to stay in a private room (since he gets too anxious around other dogs), but instead, she would let him hang out with her in the office pretty much all day while she was there so that he would not have to be alone. She gives me so many updates and photos throughout the day, so I was able to enjoy my time away, knowing that my baby was in good hands. I would definitely recommend and have Raquel take care of my baby again.
I recently had to board my dog here while I was on a work trip. She stayed for 7 weeks! Leaving her for so long was hard. I stressed so much before I found Raquel’s. While I was gone I did not worry at all about my girl because I got so many updates. There are so many pictures and txts about my dog. It really put me at ease. My dog was treated like their own pet. All the other dogs are either seniors or very calm. This was perfect for my girl who is almost 10 years old. A traditional boarding place would have really stressed her out at her age. I looked into many places before settling here. Raquel’s is one of the few who will take senior dogs or dogs with medical issues. Raquel also gives you daily updates. I was surprised by how many. Other places I talked to required you to call. If my dog had an upset tummy or anything else I was notified immediately. When I picked up my dog she was in perfect health and well groomed. She got all her meds and was fed her food per instructions. If I ever have to leave my dog again she will go here!
I could not recommend Raquel more for your pup! I’m always very anxious to leave my dog when I’m out of town because she is a senior and I worry that she won’t adjust well. I left her with Raquel for a ten-day trip and she was clearly so loved and well-taken care of. Raquel made sure to keep me updated and communicated with me throughout my trip with photos and descriptions of her day. It took the stress and worry out of my travel and I’ll be using Raquel for future trips.
Our Toby, 18 years old, has stayed twice with Raquel and Marcus, and we could not be happier with the love and care he received while there. Toby is blind and deaf, and he is a fussy eater, but he thrives under Raquel’s care. With frequent updates and photos, we always knew our little guy was doing well and could enjoy our vacation without worry. Raquel’s place features a yard for the dogs to sniff and play under the sun, and a cozy place for them to nap. We are so happy we found Raquel; Toby is too!
My dog Theo (and I) absolutely loves his time at Raquel’s!!! He is so well taken care of, just as he would be at home. With awesome updates, I get to hear about him playing with other dogs, getting time outdoors, and lots of photos as seen below. Theo is 9 and *very* chill, and Raquel’s is the perfect place for him to go when I’m out of town.
Raquel and Marcus deserve more thank 5 stars. I had a fantastic experience with Raquel's senior dog bnb. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, and genuinely cared for my senior dogs. Raquel's experience with senior pups was a comfort, and I felt completely at ease leaving my furry pals in her care. I have never boarded my pets before and they made sure my first time went smoothly. They took care of my two chihuahuas over the weekend, including one with diabetes, ensuring they got their medications. I really appreciated the updates and pictures they sent throughout the day – it made me feel connected and assured that my pets were well looked after. All in all, it was an outstanding service, and I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially for senior dogs!
Wag Hotel exceeded all my expectations for boarding my Frenchie. First off, the staff is incredible—they’re clearly happy to be there, and that made all the difference. My Frenchie stayed for 10 days while I was working in Miami, and since I usually travel with him, leaving him for so long was tough. Thankfully, the webcam was a lifesaver; I could check in on him anytime and see if he was eating and when. The “hotel schedule” they provide is great for keeping track of what he’s up to throughout the day. I was worried he might not eat much during the first few days as he adjusted, so I requested they give him breakfast and dinner. To my surprise, they went above and beyond by offering him lunch and a treat to encourage him to eat during the midday. It felt like they were treating him just as I would, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. I kept the webcam on even during my flight back, and it was so reassuring to see how gentle they were with him. They even took the time to refluff and remake his bed during housekeeping. They allowed me to leave him with a blanket that smelled like me to help with his anxiety, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also took one of his toys along for the same reason, and it was comforting to know they were taking care of him just the way I would. One of the best parts of Wag Hotel was their attention to detail with his feeding. I add salmon oil and supplements to his breakfast, and they had no problem accommodating that. Next time, I plan to sign him up for all-day play every other day so he can socialize more without getting too exhausted. The pictures they send three times a day are incredibly comforting—I could even tell from them that he made a Frenchie friend! They noted that he was getting plenty of pets and cuddles from the staff, and they even played fetch with him. It was a 100/10 experience. If you’re as protective of your dog as I am, Wag Hotel is the place you need. My only small wish is that they had cameras for the play breaks, but that’s why I’ll opt for all-day play next time. This experience was flawless, and I couldn’t recommend them more. The 24/7 drop off and pick up was also so comforting. Now if I want to go out for the night such as a concert I can drop him off and pick him any time !
Staff and facility was excellent! I was nervous leaving my pups for the first time but being able to see them on the webcam set my mind at ease. I called twice to check on them and both times staff answered the phone and gave me an update. They also sent adorable pictures of them while at play. worth every penny. I will be checking them in again in the future!!
My husband and I loved the Wag hotel for our pups. Their facility was really nice, but what really stood out to me was their communication. I'm not going to lie, this was the first time leaving our dogs with someone who wasn't close friends or family and I had such a hard time leaving them there (my husband was at work, but was able to talk on the phone and listen to me sob). We received daily pictures of our dogs and we really liked having access to their playtime, it really gave us a sense of peace and security. When we picked them up, the staff read to us the dogs' report cards on their stay. The whole process was easy to book and we really appreciate the first responder discount that Wag provides, as my husband and I are both first responders. We will definitely book again :)

I recently had to find reliable care for a 10-day stay, the first time for my pup. I researched several options, including at home care, traditional daycare boarding with overnight options, stay at a private home, and other boarding programs. Some of those options included just putting my dog in a room (with no human supervision overnight!) and risks of my dog running out into the street for some of the in-home options. I had never really thought about a pet hotel, but I did all my research and finally decided to try Wag Hotel after the free trial for daycare. I got regular reports, my pup ate ALL of her food and they handled her medications. I was so afraid my pup would be traumatized being away from home, but pick up day was great with no stress and my pup was happy to go back for shorter visits afterwards. The place is clean and the dogs are happy when they come out in the lobby. I booked a one night holiday day again recently and same result. Our pup was very well cared for and chill. I will definitely use Wag Hotel again and highly recommend it. PS I have tried in-home pet care, daycare that offer overnight, and a 24 Hour place. So I’m talking from experience and I will definitely not try anything other than Wag in the future. I’m not a professional reviewer and have no affiliation with the company. I was just very impressed.
This is our fourth time boarding with Wags Hotel in Mission Valley and they are great. The staff are all passionate and friendly with pets. They send us pictures of our pets having a good time and our dogs actually get excited when we pull in to the parking lot to drop them off. It really leaves us peace of mind knowing our family pets are in good hands. We look forward to boarding with them again when the need arrives.
I have been bringing my dogs to Wag Hotels for the last 8 years and been super happy with the attentive care they receive. They have always gone above and beyond treating my dogs like their own. Great communication from the staff which I appreciate and always an enthusiastic welcome. I love that they set boundaries if my guy gets too rambunctious. The team at Wag took great care of our two dogs while we were out of town. We checked in on them through the video feed and watched them play. Facilities were clean and safe. Dogs had fun and were so tired when we picked them up
Good packages for options. Brought my dog here for 2 days in their boarding hotel area. I wish the cameras worked better when you want to watch your dog. People were nice and it seemed clean and good as an option for what it is.
We recently had our two dogs, Flynn and Maple, stay at Wag Hotel San Diego for the first time for three days, and they absolutely loved it! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and exceeded our expectations. Neither of our dogs are aggressive, but one is very shy and wary until she opens up so she can be very barky/vocal at first. Upon being welcomed I could tell the staff made an effort to make her feel at ease and by the end of her stay I could tell she felt at home, and comfortable there. We really loved how the staff provided daily updates in the mornings with photos of our doggos, which kept us reassured. The webcam features were really nice to be able to check in on them whether they were in their private room or in all day play (which was the best choice given we have an energetic toller and aussie). Our dogs enjoyed plenty of play time and socialization in the spacious play areas, and it was wonderful knowing they were entertained and happy. By the time we picked them up, they were tired in the best way—proof that they had an amazing time. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a second home for your dogs, Wag Hotel San Diego is it. We couldn’t be happier with the care they received and will definitely be returning! Highly recommend it for anyone in need of a trusted place for their pups to stay.
I cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!! First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day. When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory’s capabilities as ‘temporary’ dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands. They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter’s terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our ‘Ring Bearer’ and ‘Flower Pup’ down the aisle with no issues! They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!). They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself. They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She’s so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog! They were stellar at their jobs —- they were punctual, kind, calm, professional, organized and dedicated. I also can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos that they sent. They are my absolute favorite photos for sure, and I’m so glad that they captured those moments for me (as the bride misses all the fun! Lol). I highly recommend Precious Petcare!!! 5 stars
We had Hannah with us for our wedding weekend and she exceeded all of our expectations caring for our maltipoo Bear! She continuously went above and beyond to make sure Bear was well fed rested and at the places she needed to be all weekend to be part of our celebrations. I was over the moon knowing Bear was in great hands for 4 days with Hannah until we came back to our hotel every day. Bear was able to join every event we hosted for our guests and I couldn’t be happier! Hannah even helped us every time photos were taken to make sure Bear was smiling & she helped coach Bear to walk down the aisle. Highly highly recommend precious pet care for your wedding or every day sitting needs!!! I wish they were closer to us in Los Angeles so we could use them on the regular :(

My husband and I just returned fron 6 weeks overseas. This is the first time leaving our 14 year old Calico Trixie using a pet service to visit. Our kids work and wanted someone to be with her during the week. We chose Precious Pet Care from Yelp reviews!! Not disappointed! Janna was our sitter the whole time away. She came 3 times a week. She shared pictures, communication/update and videos of how Trixie was doing. She respected our request to change Trix's ice water (spoiled kitty). Plated with her, gave her special treat! Brushed her. Cleaned her litter box. So much more. She treated her as I would have!! 🙂 Trixie was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and has specialized diet. From the start everyone Leila who helped me through the process made me feel secure and warm to their services.
I've used Precious Petcare the past few months for Doggie Daycare for my pup Cash. He always comes back happy and exhausted. This past week we were out of the country for our wedding and I felt at ease every time I received a daily update and pictures showing that he was well taken care of and enjoying himself with the other pups. We have taken our active dog, Anda, to Precious Pet Care for daycare, overnight stays, and boarding for the past few months. This is the first time that Anda has been to daycare and it is safe to say he loves its! Anda gets to play outside with all the dogs and gets lots of attention from the staff at Precious Pet Care. There is a good variety of dogs, and our dog has befriended the owner's dog. Whenever he comes home he looks very happy and is tired the rest of the day from all the play time. The staff are mindful to make sure he eats his meals and uses the bathroom regularly. They appropriately supervise to ensure he gets along with the other dogs. They also are very flexible with drop off/pick up times and communicative with us, sending daily updates with photos and videos. Most recently, he spent the holidays boarding at Precious Pet Care during our vacation. He definitely got a lot of attention, as there was a doggy holiday party with special treats, a Christmas photo shoot, and he came back with a gift bag and report card for his stay. We would absolutely recommend Precious Pet Care to anyone looking for a homey place for their dog to stay for any of the services they offer.
We booked Precious Pet Care for their wedding pet attendant service, and I highly recommend them!! We wanted to have our dog walk in the ceremony and have someone look after him at the Airbnb during the reception, but didn’t want to have any of our friends/family do it and miss out on the celebration. Precious Pet Care was the perfect solution! With everything that goes on during your wedding day, it was great to know that our dog was cared for and happy! Now I’ll be honest, our dog is not the best trained and can be very excitable, but Johnny did a fantastic job getting his energy out beforehand and keeping him entertained all day so he was comfortable when it came time for the ceremony! We got so many cute pictures with our pup too! It meant so much to have our dog with us on our big day and know he was safe and happy while we celebrated the night away! If that sounds like something you’d also want for your wedding, Precious Pet Care is the way to go!
Precious Pet Care was great in assisting us with the care of our pets Emma and Gracie on 4.02.23 - for my daughter's wedding! Leila was super helpful and responsive to our questions, and she and Ashley arrived early (before we did!) and were very attentive to Emma & Gracie during the course of the day - allowing my family to relax and enjoy this very special day! They made sure our girls were walked, fed, hydrated, entertained and calm throughout the day. They then returned them to our Airbnb, let them play outside for a bit, and made sure that they had food & water to last them until we returned. Before they left, they sent us pics of our pups relaxing at the house, which enabled us to enjoy the rest of the evening - knowing that they were safe, secure and had everything they needed. Without their awesome wedding pet attendant services, including our pups in my daughter's big day would have been next to impossible.
My dog Percy is really shy and is scared of everything and everyone. He just hides behind me whenever I take him to dog park. He takes a long time to trust a person or a dog. Leila has been phenomenal at taking care of Percy and she has helped him come out of his shell. She has been very patient and accommodating with him. She has made him a more confident and a playful puppy who can now explore the park on his own and play with dogs his size. Percy has been a part of Leila's doggie field day every week and I have been seeing drastic improvements in his behavior. All thanks to Leila! Percy loves her so much and he is so excited to see her every week. She even made this shy guy find his doggie best friends. I am very grateful that I found her and honestly, she is one of the best things that has happened to my Percy!
Absolutely loved this service for our wedding! We couldn’t imagine our big day without our pup and Leila made it all possible! She was amazing with Archie and it made the day less stressful! I couldn’t recommend Precious Pet Care more to other couples for their wedding day!
I can’t tell you how much we love Sari! She is so sweet and loving to our girls (two dogs and a cat) and we feel very safe leaving them in her care. She even brings them toys whenever we go on a trip. Our pets are so much happier being able to stay at home when we travel instead of being boarded. Every time we travel, we always make sure Sari is available before we book flights; there’s no one I trust more with our pets’ safety and well being.
We have seen Sari the Owner of MVPSS many times over the last few years walking other local residents Dogs in the neighborhood and was laways very impressed with her thorough and very detailed and careful approach to handling her clients dogs. We finally found an opportunity to hire her for 3 days to take care of our 10 year old Sheltie Max. We had never been seperated from him for almost 3 1/2 years so we were fairly hesistant to say the least is trusting anyone to care for him. Sari came over a few days before we left and spent a considerable amount of time taking very detailed notes on Max's behavioral traits and personality. She emailed us every day after every visit with him to let us know how he was doing, so we would not worry about him and when we returned she had left very detailed notes about all of her visits as well. We have no reservations at all in saying she runs the most professional Pet Sitting Service and deserves all the awards & recognition her business has received. She is a total professional and absolutely loves and has a passion for the animals she is entrusted to care for....Resonable Rates with a 5 Star Experience!!!
Mission Valley Pet Sitting is EXCELLENT. I learned this when they were booked and I had to find a different service. They go out of their way to earn your trust where others expect it’s easy for you to turn over your keys to a stranger. They took the time to verify all of their credentials and insurance beforehand. Sari and her staff are clearly animal lovers. My kitty is very skittish and they also made sure to find out exactly what works with her. Katherine seems to be able to pull her out of her shell where with other sitters she just hid the whole time. Katherine and Sari give detailed reports of each visit and send lots of pictures, all of which make me feel super comfortable with the care my kitty is getting while I’m gone (not to mention having strangers in my home!). I highly recommend their caring, conscientious services to anyone, especially if you’re skeptical about hiring pet sitters.
The owner, Sari, is absolutely wonderful and I wish she had been the one to be our designated dog walker. Jenna was assigned to our dog and we never had reason to believe that she wasn't doing a wonderful job until I saw her interact with our dog via a doggy camera. We've had the camera for over 2 months and never used it to check in on Jenna because we trusted her. Recently though, I was on break at work and wanted to check in on our dog since he was on a new medication and I wanted to see how he was doing. Jenna happened to walk through the doors a few minutes in and I was heartbroken to see what unfolded. Jenna entered the house and walked right past our dog. Never petting him once. She was there for a 30 minute visit to walk and feed our dog. She was outside with him for only 5 minutes and as soon as they got back inside, she walked right past our dog again to plop herself down on our couch where she stayed for the next 15+ minutes, glued to her phone and making herself way too comfortable. Not once looking over to our dog or to pet him or play with him. A few minutes before the 30 minutes were up, she put down his food, wrote her update, and left (again without petting our dog). Her note stated that our dog didn't eat while she was there and that "he did great!" Well it'd be pretty hard for any pet to eat their dinner while you're there if you don't give it to them until right before you leave! And was he so great because he just laid there and didn't demand attention? Allowing you to just lay there, doing whatever you want? I was so shocked to see this interaction. Jenna has been our dog walker for well over a year and I hope that this isn't how the majority of the visits went. Her completely ignoring our dog. Not ONCE did I see her pet him during the entire 30 minutes. I'd like to believe that this was a one time occurrence, but based on her body language and demeanor, this appeared to be her routine when coming to our house. I only gave the 3 stars because of Sari, the owner of the company. If Jenna is assigned to your pet, beware. Your pet might not receive the care they deserve! Jenna was always very flexible with scheduling which was a plus, but now I can't help but wonder if she was so lax because she took advantage of the time with our dog and viewed him as an "easy" visit. She certainly didn't put any energy into the visit I witnessed.
My aunt broke her hip and we live 125 miles from her so we hiredMVPS to provide daily care while my aunt recoperated in the hospital. I have been so impressed with how caring they are..always looking for solutions to make things better for the cat..I highly recommend their services

My sweet Sophie has been going to Bark Blvd. for 2-1/2 years. She is so excited to get out of the car and greet Coral and Bill. Coral and Bill love all the dogs as if they were their own. The flexibility and low-key environment is a plus, as well as the rates! You aren't dealing with the corporate structure of most dog kennels/day cares! I highly recommend Bark Boulevard!

We LOVE Bark Boulevard! My dog Macaroni is a very nervous rescue—the first year and a half of his life were tough and he is terrified of strangers. He warmed up to Coral and Bill amazingly fast and always comes home from boarding happy. We tried other boarding facilities and Bark Boulevard is the first one Macaroni ever happily trotted into without any fear. It's amazing to go out of town knowing that he's happy, safe, and cared for.
Very rude and selective... if you're looking for a dog daycare where you have to be on a waitlist to get in, this is your place! I called to inquire about their services and I spoke to a male over the phone who right off the back told me there was a waitlist but it depends...I asked what requirements could move you ahead in the list and he said it depends. He continued to talk about their clientele they already have and their a family owned business... I'm all about supporting my family owned business is why I contacted them. Off the back they were giving me the vibe they were a selective mom and pop dog daycare/ boarding place. I would encourage them to refine their telephone skills when taking calls and update their website to reflect their "selective process" for providing services!
We love Bark Boulevard! Coral is so kind and caring and our anxious dog is always treated well. By far the best kennel and doggie day care in San Diego, and even though we don’t live in North Park, we gladly make the drive since we are always sure that our pup is in good hands.

Cassie was great with our 13-year-old pup, especially for his first visit to Paw Commons. She was a great listener and our little guy easily walked with her to begin his spa day. Afterwards he was calm and looked awesome. We look forward to a monthly rhythm for his toenails and grooming needs, and we're confident he'll be happy to see her again. Here's before and after pics.
I been bringing my 3 Golden Retrievers for their Grooming by Cassie she has been amazing she has taken care of my oldest 14 year old boy Tucker who now has passed she was patient with him as he has was slow and his arthritis condition limit him on his standing. She gave my boy Tucker his final Groom and knew it was gonna be his last the compassion and love she shown him till the end. Cassie still Grooms my 7 year old female Bella since she was a puppy now we have our 18 month old English cream Maverick and Cassie has been nothing but amazing to my dogs and gives the best Grooming love to pur furbabies. I highly recommend her she does get booked out that speak for its self of how well people like her work and how great of a person she is. It only allows 5 stars but she deserves 10 stars. We have been bringing our pup here for years and will continue to do so for all the right reasons. 1- she loves going to camp for both day play and lodging. She’s excited when we leave the house and she’s eager to get in the door once we she realizes where we are. 2- they take such good care of her! She gets lots of love and attention from all the staff. When she’s been slightly ill while there, they are specially attentive and have taken such good care of her 3- she loves all the staff but is specially appreciative of Seth! 4- they always go above and beyond in making sure our girl is well cared for while we are away. 5- they send daily report cards letting us know how she’s doing while we are away!

Brought my anxious and sometimes reactive dog in to cut his nails, and Cassie was just amazing!! So sweet with him, and I got to watch through the glass. Worth every penny and will definitely be back!! He won’t really let me touch his feet but he behaved so well for her with no muzzle!! She was so great and gave him lots of nuzzles a kisses to keep him calm.
I found Paw Commons through a friend who takes her dog there and I’ve never gone to another doggie daycare since. Bella has been going to daycare and boarding here for over a year now and it’s the best place we’ve found throughout all our time living on both the east and west coast! Every time we enter the building, my girl gets sooo excited when she sees the staff members! Everyone is so friendly and cares for your pet like their own and I always feel comfortable knowing she is taken care of while I’m away. We love paw commons!!
Paw Commons is our first choice for boarding our fur baby, Z. It’s her normal day care and she loves it and more importantly the team is amazing. These are people that love dogs and treat them like they are their own. They provide report cards during your pup’s stay and you’re also free to call and check in if you can’t wait for the report card. Super accommodating. Highly recommend.
My dog has been going to the Paw Commons Hillcrest location for about six months, and he loves it! He’s always excited to see his dog friends and the human staff. He also comes home exhausted, which is great for me. Whether I drop him off for a few hours or a few days, I feel good knowing he’s safe hands. I cannot recommend Paw Commons enough!
We have being blessed since we started bringing our dog to Paw Commons. The whole team is well engaged and prepared. Mrs Mary welcomed us since the first day and often share videos and photos of our fur baby. It’s brightens my day. But you can also check their camera. I honestly could not feel more at peace knowing when my dog is not with me, she is there having lots of fun. Their grooming service is also premium but I recommend booking in advance. Have to highlight the cleanliness of their facility. Well kept and also they offer couple options of toys and treats. They have a convenient parking.
Love this place!!! I live downtown but picked this business because they are outdoors/covered patio while the places closer to me are 100% indoors. We just had our first visit (evaluation) Mary and the other staff members were kind and absolutely lovely with my dog, Louie. We work from home and have a high energy/anxiety jack russell, perfect service for her. We send her 3x a week on the adventure walks, always comes back happy as a clam and “dog tired” the rest of the day. They handle everything, pick up and drop off, rinsing her off, etc. Even send an email with pictures from the day. Definitely a great value for the service provided.
Dylan was great in helping my dog Remi overcome her anxiety around skateboards. Remi would dangerously run into the street barking after a skateboard. Dylan brought his own skateboard to my house to introduce techniques we can use to manage Remi's anxiety. In our last training session, Dylan suggested we meet at a local skatepark. Remi did great! She is a different dog now. Couldn't have done it without Dylan and the Dog Tired team!
We have used so many of Dog Tired's services and no one can top what they have done for my active chihuahua mix! Our pup waits by the door and cries in excitement when he sees Adam or Nico picking him up for pack walks. He loves to see Craig too, even though he knows it means we are likely leaving for the weekend. Sara's dog training showed us how to mark and reward his good behaviors, and within one training session our excitable pup started to walk calmly by our side. Getting photo updates of our dog playing with his pack mates makes our day! Keeping our only dog socialized is really important to us, and Dog Tired helps us meet his needs.
We recently signed our hound up to get him out of the house and socialize. We also want to work with him on recall so we can take him to the beach. We've been using Dog Tired for the past month and it's been such a great experience!! Craig is the best and understands nervous dog parents and how to help put them at ease instantly. The pick up and drop off that is included in the pack walk is amazing and super convenient! Kaleb is now perking up whenever we say its '"adventure day!" and lets out a loud excited howl when he sees Craig pull up. He's also sooooo tired when he comes back and seeing the pictures of him running around and super happy is just the best. Seriously couldn't recommend Dog Tired enough. Thank you Craig for all that you do and continue to do for Kaleb - we are so appreciative and can't wait to recommend Dog Tired to all of our friends/family!
Absolutely love these guys and have recommended them to all my friends with furry companions. They take such fantastic care of my dog. The pick up and drop off service is amazing for those of us with busy schedules. My pup has the best time and is righteously pooped after a full day of play with her friends. I never doubt that she's being well taken care of either during her All Day Play or overnight stays. So very glad we found Craig and his crew.
We are pseudo-newbies to San Diego, by way of NY, and are not always trusting of people - it's the New Yorkers in us! :) But Craig was a DREAM to work with. When you put your trust in someone to take care of your fur baby, it's a lot to ask - and Craig delivered! We live nearby and often see him walking his sweet dogs and when we contacted him to see if our dog, Kali, could join him and his pack for a sleepover while we were out of town for the weekend, he was more than happy to take her on. We met the day before drop off at a local park to make sure the dogs were well-acquainted before the slumber party and even from that initial instance, we knew we could trust Craig to take care of our little girl. We forgot our bags and he was kind enough to pick up after Kali for us - that's dedication :) You can tell instantly that he's a true dog lover and his laid back demeanor helped ease our minds (and our dog's!). We received updates and pictures throughout the weekend of Kali romping around with the pack at Dog Beach and playing with Craig's dogs. He's super responsive, professional, dedicated and on point. On my way home today after just a few hours of leaving Kali alone, I heard her howling from down the block! I think she misses her friends and was lonely! Craig and Sally are amazing with dogs! Craig truly loves dogs, and goes to great lengths to keep them happy and healthy on their group dog walks. My dog is getting her exercise, socializing and having fun and I feel secure knowing that Craig and Sally are their pack leaders! Susan
If I could, I'd vote Dog Tired best company in the entire universe. We have a rowdy pup, Cashew, who we love more than anything in the world, and Craig and his team treat her as if she was one of theirs. Craig is communicative, reliable, punctual, and professional. Cash comes home happy, safe, and exhausted! The team really knows what they are doing and how to handle dogs of all types. This is soooooo much better than the traditional daycare setting. Cash has also taken a "staycation" with Dog Tired when we needed to go out of town, and I'm pretty sure she was disappointed to have to go home. She had much more fun with Craig and his wife! And we have peace of mind knowing she's safe, cared for, and living comfortably at their house. We are in the process of buying a house right now, and we love Dog Tired so much that one of the factors in our house hunt is remaining within Dog Tired's service area. It sounds absolutely crazy (truly, we know it is nuts), but we really can't imagine our lives without Craig and his team! ***UPDATE - Almost one year later and we still have nothing but amazing things to say about this company. Our dog has stayed at DTSD quite a few times in addition to her weekly walks. Each time, she comes home healthy, happy, and tired. We get regular updates and photos, and we know who all her best friends are. She is SO excited to go with the DTSD crew - she would 1000% ditch us for anyone there. She's over the moon excited when we are in the vicinity of DTSD. I truly don't know what we would do without DTSD!!!
We started using Dog Tired in Toronto when Craig was here. One really hot day I saw Craig pull a bottle of clean water out of his back pack and make sure his dogs stopped playing long enough to get a drink. We were at the park without any water and he invited my puppy to join in, as she had been playing with his pack. I thought that was generous – showed how much he cares about dogs, all dogs, not just the ones in his care. Craig knows what active dogs need. They chase what he throws. Come when he calls. Instinctively, almost, he keeps them out of trouble.
