Maeve looked after our two old boys, an 11 year old cockapoo, and a 10 year old schnauzer for the past week. We had a video call before the sit, and actually communicated a lot in the months leading up to the sit so were more than comfortable with Maeve looking after our babies as she asked lots of questions and taken the time to read our welcome guide - so she really knew our pets before she had met them. Maeve arrived the night before we went on our holiday, so we could run through the very detailed schedule we had left for our old boys! One of our dogs is blind and diabetic, so we were most appreciative that Maeve kept us informed with plenty of pics and updates whilst we were away. We knew we (and the dogs) would love Maeve after reading all of her wonderful reviews - but she exceeded our expectations. We didn't want her to leave and we're only sorry she lives in another country as we would love for Maeve to take care of our pups and home again, The house was spotless, Maeve even washed, dried and remade the bed. We couldn’t have been more happy with Maeve taking care of our dogs and our home. And the food Maeve left for us was delicious - thank you so much Maeve!
Jeanette took great care of our pups while we were away and sent daily updates with pictures. She left the house super clean and tidy!

Teddy and Mungo were a joy to spend time with, sweet, affectionate and adorable companions. They were so easy and well behaved on walks on or off leash. Teddy stays with you for most of a walk and Mungo enjoys exploring and meeting other dogs but is good on recall, especially for treats😋 Mungo's only naughtiness is chasing indoors cat Skye but fortunately baby gates keep him at bay😆 Beautiful Skye is timid when you first meet her but once she gets to know and trust you loves stroking and plenty of brushing, unlike many cats. Claire and Nick have a beautiful cottage with large garden, pond and terrace. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. However, they are well located to Chelmsford for shopping, cafes, bars etc, just a short trip by train or bus, 15 mins walk from the property. This is a great house sit for those wanting a countryside location but with access to a large town and amenities. Really enjoyed my time with Teddy and Mungo and many thanks to Claire and Nick for choosing me to spend time with them.
