Andi & Amy
Andi and Amy have a lovely family home in a quiet road only 10mins walk from the busy centre of Oxford so it is very handy for sightseeing. We did not meet in person but communication was easy from before the sit and throughout my stay and Albus was a delight to look after. He is so cuddly and gentle and has the softest whitest fur. I made sure to give him lots of TLC because he had recently lost his feline companion Pixel who was much older than him. He responded with affectionate purrs and licks and always greeted me with cheerful miaows. I will miss his company but I have lots of photos to remind me of him. Thank you Adi and Amy for inviting me.

Kev
Kev and Amy were excellent with communication beforehand and sent me a comprehensive manual to their house and pets so I felt very well prepared. They welcomed us before they departed and we felt right at home immediately.

Pip is the sweetest cat and was so affectionate. We allowed her into the bedroom at night and she slept snuggled up with us.
Flapjack is quite a character and after a few days I had won his trust and it was lovely to be able to stroke him and see him enjoying it.

The pet care required was very minimal, it was more about keeping them company which was no trouble and we had plenty of time to explore the area. There’s lots to do within a short drive.

The home was exactly as described and in the pictures. Kev and Amy are lovingly renovating it and it’s almost finished. The kitchen space is really lovely and has everything you need and there’s a sunny spot to sit in the garden and my son loved the trampoline.

Jodi
Great spot close to beach, shopping, interesting food choices and famous Abbot Kinney Blvd. Jodi’s pets are easy to care for and love rubs and snuggles. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely people who made us feel right at home. And what a home it was. Gorgeous home with ample space for us and their two AMAZING pups Jasper and Juniper. Two loveable Goldens who were low maintenance and loved to play in the yard and go for walks. Their flights were delayed to the next day, but that was ok with us. Who wouldn't want another day with their cutie pie dogs! Great community with a great community pool.

Anne
This is a beautiful home sponsored by really nice hosts Anne and Eric. Anne is specific in her communication and responds quickly to questions. There is a lovely patio in the back to relax or eat. The house feels very private even though th. ndf are close together. Location to Raleigh Durham sightseeing snd amenities is great.

Olive, the pup is a gem. She is sweet, engaged and affectionate, with quite a m
big personality for such a small creature. it is easy to get attached to her.

Siriol
I arrived, as arranged, the day before the sit began as Siriol and her family were setting off first thing the next morning for a long awaited family holiday and birthday celebration. This gave me the opportunity to meet the lovely dogs, who are affectionate and great company, and to become familiar with their routine.

I was welcomed with dinner with Siriol and her husband, then we went for an evening walk with the dogs once the heat of the day had subsided.

One dog is a recently rescued dog and when Phil joined me the following day, she was initially hesitant with him. Within a day she had began to trust him and cuddled with him on the sofa.

The apartment is in a vibrant area of Brighton, with excellent local parks, shops, pubs and cafes within short walking distance. There is a regular bus service into central Brighton, stopping almost outside the house. The local park is a a good place to meet other dog owners and for both the dogs and the humans to socialise. For longer walks, the golf course is slightly further away, the walk is rewarding as are the views over Brighton to the sea.

I would be delighted to be invited to house and dog sit for Siriol and the dogs again.
