Those five stars across the board say it all!! Our house was in pristine condition when we returned, our pets were happy (I.e. the cats had been well-loved and didn’t care that we were back 😆), and Tricia and Steven are delightful people.
Wispa, Skip and Eevie were the most amazing and characterful pets we have come across in a minute! Evie and Skip use their age and wisdom to try train Wispa coz Wispa was in her own league altogether! It was amazing taking walks with them and recall was great. Their best times is the evenings where they all cuddle on their beds right next to us. Well behaved, good mannerisms and great to look after.We shall miss them terribly! Nick and Gina’s house was lovely and a perfect set up for time out. We enjoyed all our time at their house!
Housesitting for Elaine was a great experience.Her home is comfortable in every possible way. The yard was peaceful and beautifully landscaped and great to relax in. All of the neighbors are friendly and very quiet. Elaine’s little dog Lucca is adorable and easy to take care of. We really enjoyed our daily walks with him, and he always led the way so we didn’t have to wonder where we should go. Elaine was also very responsive to every question we texted her about. This was our first trip to Santa Fe, and now we’re really eager to go back.
It was a true delight to take care of Maky in Christopher and Zennon’s home. They were such gracious hosts and connected with us ahead of time to chat about desires and expectations during our stay. We were also grateful to have met Chris in person, who gave us a tour of their home and went over Maky’s routine. They kept an open line of communication while away and updated us on changes to their trip, which we appreciated. They generously gave us a list of recommendations in Boston, which gave us the chance to enjoy the neighborhood like locals. Chris and Zennon’s home is a walker’s paradise: it is conveniently situated in the South end of Boston, a stone’s throw away from restaurants, shops, and a short walk from the Boston Common. Among all the wonderful things about this sit, Maky is the cherry on top. Maky is a little furball of energy; he bonded with us, and most especially our toddler instantaneously, which made our sit feel like an extended play session. Maky, too, is a good communicator who will definitely let you know when he wants to play or go out for some fresh air. In the house he is generally happy to just hang out and nap in various locations - including on your lap; and right next to our toddler, which was a precious memory. Maky loves giving and getting affection and is such a gentle dog, truly a dream pet. We would highly recommend this sit, and thank Chris and Zennon for sharing with us a little piece of their Boston paradise.
Sitting at Jazne’s house was one of the most enjoyable I've done. The apartment is cozy and warm and is located in a modern urban neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and other attractions in the center area of DC. Jazne was very generous and chill. Her demand from me was very low as a sitter (but I used to send a daily update anyway 😉). The communication was excellent and I got all the required information before she left. That was very helpful. I took care of Mocha Late, a lovely AMAZING Labradodel dog! Mocha is a smart, intelligent, and full of good energy dog, but very quiet. He is really a good boy, with low demands. I highly recommend this sitting and am grateful for the opportunity to meet Jazne and Mocha.
Sherry’s home is wonderful! So spacious and clean. Sherry is a sweetheart, super accommodating, kind, cheerful and understanding. Great communication. Let me use her car which was a such a big plus! Audrey is an adorable sweet pup! She was so fun to play with and cuddle with and walk with. She slept with me every night which was so sweet. She has a pretty high degree of separation anxiety and hasn’t been trained so it’s just good to know ahead of time that she needs company all the time.
Raquel’s recently renovated apartment is beautiful. The kitties were sweet and easy to care for. We had great communication with her at all times. Her neighborhood is adjacent to the Presidio, and has many great cafes, shops, and bars.
