I absolutely LOVE Rachelle! She watched my 9 year old house cat for a long weekend and is perhaps the best pet/house sitter I have ever had on this site. You would be very lucky to have her watch your home/pet. Primarily, in the weeks and days leading up to the house sit, she kept me abreast of her plans and was very good at coordinating with me. She was also understanding when we had to change the method by which she would need to pick up the keys, which was great. Probably most important, when she actually got here to house sit, my cat came out almost immediately. Now, you have to understand, my cat is shy and gets anxious when I am away. He usually takes a day or so to warm up to new people. But within an hour it seems he was letting her pet him, play with him, and cuddle with him. I think this really speaks to the sort of person Rachelle is. She obviously has a very comforting personality to animals and spent the energy and time to make sure my cat felt safe. She sent me pictures and updates every day and I could tell my cat was super happy and relaxed. The pictures and updates also kept me relaxed. She also followed all the care instructions I left perfectly. I came back to a very happy kitten. And in terms of home care, I couldn’t believe how clean it was when I returned. It was somehow cleaner than when I left it and I assure you I cleaned every spot of the apartment before I left. She cleaned the sheets, washed the dishes, and vacuumed. It was so nice to come home and be able to go to bed immediately instead of cleaning. In short, Rachelle is a responsible, personable, incredibly kind sitter and you would be lucky to have her as your next pet sitter. If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to Rachelle and she can give you my number. I’d be happy to answer anything.
Susan stayed with my two dogs for almost 2 weeks recently and I have to say I was not worried about them the entire time that I was gone. From the minute I met her I knew that my dogs were in good hands and that with her calm demeanor and kindess they would be taken care of. I had a delayed flight and ended up coming a day late, but Susan was still able to come take care of the dogs so that I would not worry about them from far away. I came home late at night, and the Christmas tree lights were on and she even had on holiday music playing so that I felt like I was coming into a warm and inviting home rather than a dark hole! I can’t say enough about the great job that Susan did, how much my dogs love her and what a great sitter she would for your pets. My only problem is I want to have her again and because she’s so good she’s very popular, so best of luck!
