This was our first experience with house sitters and Mark and Zoe could not have given us a better experience. They kept us very well informed in regards to the house and “our girls” Sophie and Lucy. They were easily contactable if we needed anything and their communication with us was fabulous. They were originally scheduled to housesit for 6 months but due to COVID this was extended out to 14 months. They were extremely accommodating with any requests we had in relation to the garden etc. Mark often went “above and beyond” with the garden and that was very much appreciated. Mark and Zoe took our Sophie to the groomers on a regular basis which was fabulous as she didn’t get into a mess. They cared for our girls like they were their own and we could see, when we chatted on webcam, that Sophie and Lucy were more than comfortable with Mark and Zoe. I’m sure our girls didn’t miss us at all and that provided us with much comfort, as that was our intention getting housesitters, so our girls wouldn’t be disrupted. Overall a brilliant housesit by Mark and Zoe and should our calendars align again we would definitely have them back. Thanks so much Mark and Zoe!!!!
Shannon was wonderful. Super responsive (and prompt), left the house clean and tidy, fun and pleasant to correspond with, handled a few minor issues with ease, and humored me with constant photos of my cat. 10/10 would invite her on a stay again.
It was a delight to have Tom and Annie return to house sit again. They love our dog and care for her as we would. Tom's daily photos were a comfort. The house was left immaculately. We look forward to another vacation net summer when Tom and Annie can return.
Courtney and Travis have a lovely home near downtown Medford. I enjoyed taking Cosmo to the different local parks for walks and even occasional hikes. If I had a dog, Cosmo's the dog - so gentle and a real sweetheart!
We had clear communications prior to meeting Christiane and Sebastian and when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and greeted with coffee and homemade cake then later in the evening we enjoyed a stimulating conversation about more than the weather over a bottle of wine. Line and Lupina are easy to look after and by and large ‘no hassle’ cats, it took a few days for them to chill out with us but once they did they were friendly and shared the settee of an evening when we were reading or watching the TV. The Kottgeisering area is very scenic, close to Ammersee with lots to see and do. Christiane and Sebastians’ home is extremely comfortable, warm, with lots of natural light and has gorgeous views of the Bavarian and Austrian Alps. Denise thoroughly enjoyed playing the ‘in house’ musical instruments and the acoustics were perfect for her violin and flute. Thank you, Christiane and Sebastian, for trusting us with Line, Lupina and your lovely home and please bear us in mind for any future sits that may arise. John and Denise
