This stay was incredible. Bella is adorable and easy to care for - sleeps with her tongue out it’s incredibly cute. The neighborhood is great and easily walkable. Kathleen and Ted’s home is beautiful and it was wonderful meeting them. Highly recommend and hope to come back!

Rachel
We loved everything about our stay in Bude! From our very first conversation, Rachel was kind and friendly, ensuring we had all the information we needed before we even started the sit. Even though we didn't get to meet her in person before or after our stay, we talked daily on WhatsApp and got to know each other. We did have the chance to spend a couple of days with her wonderful daughters, who were the perfect hosts and truly amazing people. We shared a few meals and had the best conversations. Rachel and Ian also kindly left us some delicious culinary treats, which we thoroughly enjoyed. :)

The house was sparkling clean when we arrived, and our bedroom was airy and very comfortable. Rachel and Ian's house is beautifully designed, and we found everything we needed for a cozy stay. The house also has a splendid garden that basks in sunlight all day long.

Now, let's talk about the wonderful fur babies: Mika and Zeb. We were absolutely and irrevocably charmed by their distinct personalities. Mika and Zeb are two handsome, loving, and fun-to-be-around Bengal cats. They are easy to care for, and we loved spending our days and evenings with them. Zeb is the gangster of the house—chill and eager to be loved—while Mika is an independent beauty, always wandering outside in search of his next adventure. We couldn't have asked for better fur babies to care for.

In other words, yes, we will definitely be back if we are ever asked to return. Bude itself is a beautiful coastal town that abounds in bakeries, shops, cafes, and amazing coastal walks and views. Every day felt like a holiday!

Sitting for Gaby and Gabo was as enjoyable, easy and straightforward an experience as I'd have hoped for! The communication was excellent and they made sure I had all the information I needed to take care of Zucchinni and Champiñón, before they left. They took extra care in making me feel welcome even before my trip to Seattle and shared tips and interesting things to do in the city. They were easy to reach while they were away and happy to help whether I had a question about the dogs, the area or the house.

Zucchinni and Champiñón were great company while I was at home. Although a bit hesitant, the first couple of days, they quickly got used to me and became more playful and affectionate. Zucchinni was definitely the more adventurous one but they both enjoyed their short walks to the park or the surrounding area and the subsequent snack, their favourite sausage or a few carrots as a healthy alternative. They were very well-behaved and I was able to leave them home a few hours at a time if I needed to go out.

The house is located in a beautiful and up-and-coming part of the city and there are great transport links, although not always necessary, as it's only a 15/20 minute walk to the city center. The development has facilities such as a treehouse, a cosy lounge , a rooftop area and a gym but there are also coffee shops, restaurants convenience stores in the surrounding area.

Overall, I had a great time in Seattle because of how great Gaby and Gabo were as hosts, how fun and rewarding it was looking after their dogs and how conveniently located their home was. I would happily sit for them again and would recommend to anyone looking for a similar experience.

Peter
This was our first sit and it could not have been a better introduction. Right from the off Peter provided all of the relevant information which enabled us to get the best from our time in his home, and our charges to have consistency of as normal life as possible.
Paddy is just beautiful and asks nothing more than a trot through the forest, his food, and a cuddle on the ‘doggy' sofa now and then. Charlie and Lola also adorable are more independent but we did have a few special moments with them. Our biggest surprise was how much we enjoyed the chickens and especially the ducks….. and the eggs!!!
We would really like to keep this sit a big secret, like a special place you like to go and no one else knows about it but that would be selfish.
We would be delighted to sit for Peter and the team again.

Jill and Les were so lovely and treated me to coffee and breakfast on my arrival, before they left for their trip!

Their home is lovely and spacious, with a wonderfully big garden that gets the sun all day.

Milo and Sam were lots of fun to look after and have great personalities. They're also both very affectionate and will want lots of fuss haha. They play-fight like siblings but it's always good natured and I even had them both on my lap for a brief cuddle at one point!

There's a nearby wood that's perfect for walking Milo, it takes a bit of getting used to to remember your route around it though!

10/10 stay, thanks so much to Jill and Les for having me and to Milo and Sam for the company 🙂

Rita
A must house sit!! Rita is a wonderful communicator and very welcoming. Her home was clean and her instructions were very clear, she also took the time to show us everything we’d need in the house and introduced us to Violet and Cosmo, something we always love to do.

Best of all are Violet and Cosmo. Violet is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet, we already really miss her. She is shy at first but wow will she give you so much love once she trusts who you are (so within 15 minutes). She was a pleasure to take out on walks, so much fun to play with and a great sofa snuggler.

Cosmo was shy but warmed up to both of us within the first day and would keep us company when working or chilling out on the deck. A really lovely cat and is was great to be around two animals that are so happy living side by side.

The surrounding area was great, Rita’s home had all we needed and more and we’d be happy to house sit anytime.

Thank you for our stay.
