I really enjoyed my first house/dog sit at Olivia and Simon’s house. Liv’s instructions were so thorough!! Every question was answered in her manual, and she even provided maps of local spots and menus to local restaurants. Their home is quiet and comfortable with all the conveniences you might need. It is located a short walk to bus stops that will take you to Reading for shopping, food, and culture. And let me talk about Lord Merlin, the sweetest, cuddliest, 50-lb dog I’ve ever met. We made friends immediately and we spent everyday playing, exploring, and snuggling together. He has a clear routine and I never had to wonder what his needs were. But watch out! He is a bed hog, so if you need space, make sure he stays in his own bed. Otherwise, soak in all that doggy love and enjoy the time with your new best friend.
Oliva is an amazing host, super helpful + responsive with any questions/details. An amazing location and very large space + lots of activities. Pretzel is very cute and laid back as well as very easy to care for + play with !
Jenny and her family are incredible! 🤗✨ They welcomed me into their house and made me feel super comfortable from the first minute. Extraordinary and lovely people! It was such a pleasure to stay with Butch, Harley, Wally, and Alfie to share beautiful walkies in the woods and around this old amazing village, and finish the day with some doggie cuddling on the couch while watching TV 🤭 And after all that, being able to share some meals and talks with the human family did everything better. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found them and honored to take care of their house and pet family for a week. Amazing experience and I hope to see them soon! ☺️
Gracie is an absolute angel and Linn is a great communicator. The house was lovely and it is in a perfect location.
Beautiful location, very walkable with easy drives to nearby trails and to San Francisco. Cathy made us feel at home with breakfast supplies and travel books, and low maintenance communication that made us feel trusted. The house itself is a tardis with fairy lights, candles and a cozy bed. Boots was gentle and really came out of her shell after the first day. It was hard to leave her. The neighborhood is beautiful with little to no cars and friendly locals. There’s an abundance of places to visit and new furry friends for Boots to meet. The landscape, convenience of amenities and lovely nature of the pup made a big impression on us. We hope to return!
I had a wonderful sit with Kendra! She is a funny girl with loads of personality packed into a little body. She is very independent and really easy to care for. Hal was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed. His home is very comfortable. I had a nice couple of cozy nights by the stove and enjoyed some peaceful walks around the property. I highly recommend this sit and would happily come back!
