I can't say enough great things about Shannen and Ryan. They sent me updates and pictures regularly. Our house was SO clean we wondered if they were even ever here! This was our second time having them here and I was SO relieved when they offered to come back. Thank you Shannen and Ryan!

To sum up Clarice and Tom’s 25 Day Housesit for me in one word, ‘exceptional’. Clarice and Tom are beautiful souls, I knew this from our first video call. I also ascertained from this call that they had a big love of animals and that they were totally committed to taking excellent care of my pets and my home. There was something very special about this couple. And as time went on, this was very evident…… It is extremely difficult to fully capture the extraordinary work that this couple did during their stay. To begin with, they took excellent care of Maia and Lucy, my dogs. Lucy is a sheep dog cross, and a more outdoor than indoor dog. Lucy became Tom’s shadow. Tom did a lot of training with her, and this was very obvious from the moment I came in the door, and from reports from my sister and father who had witnessed this on their visits. They also looked after my two pet sheep, Lola and Zola, giving them fresh water, grain and hay every day; and took great care of my two cats, Ebonii and Stella Artois. Tom asked me if he could build a shelter for my Beloved Donkey, Nobby. I was beyond thrilled and very impressed to say the least. Tom proceeded to build the most amazing shelter for Nobby, dismantling the large old monstrosity that previously existed. This was the most precious gift to me. Nobby absolutely loves it and now spends most of his time in his very own ‘bachelor pad’. It’s a perfect build and visually very pleasing. I can’t imagine how much it would cost to pay somebody to build an equivalent. In addition, they groomed and brushed Nobby, and gave him fresh water and hay every day. Nobby looked wonderful and befitting of his new pad. Tom also took it upon himself to fix the lock on my front door, & to rebuild my large front wooden gate which was falling apart. Both masterfully done. I only wish that I could include ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures with this review. He also reinforced and mended the extensive fencing around the farm. I came home to all these wonderful surprises, as well as a perfectly groomed front lawn. Clarice sent me extensive daily updates and pictures. I am normally very anxious while I’m away, but, from the getgo, I felt relaxed at the end of every day, and content in the knowledge that my pets were being so well looked after. At one stage, Tom and Clarice called me to tell me that my dog Lucy needed to go to the vet - they had got an odour from Lucy, and based on their previous experience, correctly identified that her anal glands most likely required draining. They proceeded to take her to the vet, and had her treated. Tom and Clarice showed their great compassion and generosity by visiting my elderly father who lives next door on various occasions, and taking him to the nearest town to meet my brother. My brother would then take my father for a spin in his haulage truck. They also attended his 94th birthday party!! Tom and Clarice collected me from the bus on my return (they had dropped me to the bus on the morning of my flight too). I came home to a beautifully clean and tidied house and a gorgeous vegetarian meal prepared from scratch by Clarice. I have already asked Tom and Clarice to do my three/ four week sit next summer too, but unfortunately they’ll be on the other side of the world by then. I am so grateful to them for everything. They have promised to come visit Tim, me, and all the pets soon. They are forever friends and I feel truly blessed to have met these ‘Heaven sent’ people and housesitters. To whoever is lucky enough to have Clarice and Tom housesit for you, Congratulations, you’ve struck Gold!!!

Anne is the type of sitter you often read about here on Trusted and wish you could find that one too! The 5 stars for each category speak a lot for how she handles her stay with you, but what you don't know is: She's a photographer so you'll get great daily photos of your pets! She's a reiki healer so you'll come to a house that just feels awesome and peaceful. She's been traveling a lot herself so she appreciates what it feels like to come back to a house that is ready and waiting and comfortable and helps you transition back into the "real world" again. She is very observant and gives great briefings about what is happening with your pet(s) and gives a detailed report about how the day went and ended. She's very compassionate and caring for everyone and I highly recommend using Anne and Rick for your next sit!

We couldn't have hoped for better sitters than Kylie, John, and Solie. It was clear from the start that the animals liked them. Our cat Gilbert, who tends to be suspicious of strangers, let them pet him minutes after they arrived! And Solie was so sweet with the bunnies (and cats)--very calm and sensitive. Kylie was very communicative and sent daily updates and photos of our pets. We came back to a clean home and happy animals. I would trust them 100% to take care of our animals again.

Aline was the perfect caregiver for our two cats while we were gone for a few weeks! She was very communicative and sent a lot of great photos and videos while we were gone. I have an elder cat who requires daily oral medication and she was able to administer that to him with no problem. When we returned, our house was in perfect condition and our cats were sad to see her go! I would highly recommend Aline as a sitter.

Julie stepped in to save us last minute when our planned sitter got sick. She provided great care - including making sure our dog got her antibiotics. And she left everything really clean and orderly.

This was my first time using an overnight pet sitter and I couldn't have asked a better couple than Lara and Andrei. They are both so kind and sweet, and immediately bonded with my two cats on arrival- speaking with them softly, getting down to their level, letting them sniff and get comfortable. Aster in particular is very shy but came right up to them, and was sitting on their laps within a day. They seem to have genuine joy in being with and caring for animals. They were really easy to work with in setting up logistic- very flexible and willing to come on an early morning train so I could get them acquainted before I left. They were very communicative during their stay, with lots of photos of the kitties having so much fun! The place was absolutely immaculate upon my return- such a pleasant surprise. Thank you Lara and Andrei for being such wonderful people and taking great care of my kitties!

We had the pleasure of having Maggie & Thirukamaran stay in our home over the long weekend to care for our two cats, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we met them, we felt confident that our fur babies were in great hands. Maggie & Thirukamaran were not only professional and reliable but also incredibly loving and attentive to our cats. They followed our instructions meticulously, ensuring that feeding times, playtime, and cuddles were all taken care of. It was clear that they have a genuine love for animals, which put our minds at ease while we were away. We received regular updates and adorable photos, which was a wonderful touch and reassured us that our cats were happy and well cared for. Our home was left in immaculate condition, and it was evident that they treated it with the utmost respect. We returned to two content and relaxed cats, and we would not hesitate to use their services again in the future. Highly recommended!

Ilyssa is for sure a great pet sitter! She took care of Tikki for more than a week and send me pictures and news regularly. She is a really nice person and will definitely recommend her!

We are so glad that we met Diana! From our initial zoom meeting we knew that our dog Tobie and cat Bean would be in great hands with her. We returned from a two week overseas trip to a sparkling clean house and happy and healthy pets. We were truly at ease during our trip and were really grateful for her attentiveness to the needs of our pets and for keeping our home in such great shape. We would be delighted to have Diana sit for us again and would highly recommend her to any pet parent.

We really enjoyed meeting Sam. He is a very personable, friendly and interesting guy. Communication was excellent from early on and continued until after we had all gotten back to our own homes. Sam genuinely liked and cared for our pups. He paid close attention to all our instructions, let us know how things were going at all times and was extremely self sufficient. He took very good care of our home and left us with clean sheets and towels and a tidy kitchen. Sam managed his time here so that we could get to know each other and we were able to have dinner together before we took off. We would love to have Sam stay with our pups again anytime.
