Shawn & Sarah are the type of people you can only hope to sit for. They're loving, welcoming, and set me up so nicely when I got there. They gave me the freedom to enjoy my stay and it felt trusting and relaxing throughout with them. The cabin was spacious, super clean and cozy rustic - loved the pellet stove in the colder months and was nice to feel like I was in my own space since this is used as one of their airbnbs! Vallecito is a small town that has a gorgeous lake - which I got all to myself in the afternoons I went! Pristine and peaceful. Hank is a unique character that loves belly rubs, treats and outside adventures. He's a doofy, gentle mannered boy that loves to be a hunting dog, bark at things outside, and take himself for walks. He gets to free roam in the neighborhood so many people know him. A training collar and knowing how he/it operates will be essential for some ease and enjoyability with Mr. Hank :). He responds super well to it. For example if he was out late, I drove around to a couple of his main spots and beeped the collar and he'd come running to the car. He experiences separation anxiety but he improved with tactics that will hopefully help him, his family, and anyone who cares for him in the future! Ninja was the sweetest little baby. She loved snuggles which were my absolute favorite - she slept on my every day in a very "mommy/baby" way. Often nuzzling her face into my neck and breathing in my ear 🥰. She was only about 7 months when I watched her and was just becoming accustomed to indoor living and did well with training! She enjoyed having zoomy time outside to scratch up a tree, hang out in the shed, etc. I would have adopted her if I could! If you're a mega light sleeper or struggle with sleep, it's worth noting that it may take many adjustments with the animals and the set up of the room as it did with me over the course of the stay. But the blackout curtains in the whole cabin were amazing and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've slept in. Thank you so much for choosing me and lots of love to you all! -Stephanie
We had a fabulous sit looking after Rafiki, the most chilled out dog we’ve ever met. He walks with you and never ventures far. Great on the lead and his recall is perfect. He’s not bothered about other dogs but loves human company. Loves his cuddles and a few treats! We miss him already. We stayed for 4 days and never used the car. Easy 2 mile walk to Marlborough town where Rafiki enjoyed all the attention from passers by. So many walks from the doorstep including long walks to Avebury and up to the Gallops. A beautiful part of the country. Sam and John were very welcoming and left detailed instructions about Rafiki, the house and the area. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to care for Rafiki.
Louise and Randy have a clean, cozy home in a great neighbourhood walking distance from downtown. There's a bakery and cafe just a few minutes away. Rosco and Felix are adorable sweethearts who are easy to care for. Communication was great and it was a wonderful sit!
What sweet dogs! Clancy and Dylan are so lovable. The two "brothers." play so well together, despite their size difference. Dylan, the Jack Russell, thinks he is just as big as Clancy, the golden retriever, and Clancy is sweet enough to let him think that he is. They love a good walk or time at the dog park and then are content to cuddle. Rebecca and Craig have a lovely comfortable home. they are very gracious host. They had a meal waiting for us when we arrived, which was so much, it lasted us a couple of days. They were very concerned with us having everything we needed and wanted us to enjoy our time there. The best part is the backyard with all the birds. Being from America, the bird life is so different, and having the birdsongs of the lorikeets, cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, and more was very exciting for us. You are outside the hustle and bustle of the city with shops close by for shopping. They have a nice neighborhood with lovely neighbors. If you are lucky enough to be invited to sit with them, you should definitely do so. even though it is a long way from Virginia, USA to Melbourne, Australia we hope that we will be back one day to stay with these cute doggies again.
Lovely house. Meticulously clean. Hosts were very kind and considerate and didn't need too much checking in with :) The dogs are lovely but Elsa is rambunctious and will really put you through your paces. You've got to watch her at all times so this is a very attentive house sit. Ana is also very sweet but does need to be around you almost constantly which can be difficult. Overall, a nice week.
Poppie is a very smart, sweet and affectionate dog. Joey has trained her very well, she is very responsive to commands (sit, come, stay, and some other tricks) and was very well behaved during our stay. Iit was sad to leave Poppie behind! It was a nice stay despite the rubbish weather, Poppie didn't seem to mind at all (possibly preferred the rain when out on walks!). The flat is compact but very well equipped and organised. Joey was responsive and provided a thorough welcome guide with local tips. It was our first time in the Putney area and we hope to be able to visit again (and hopefully give Poppie another pat and a cuddle). Thanks Joey!

Alexis is fantastic with cats. She is very attuned to their personalities and eager to meet their needs. Alexis has been a great dog walker for my 65 pound Goldendoodle, Bailey! He is a good boy, but does require extra attentiveness to keep him from eating things he should not eat during walks. He really is relentless about it, so I would not trust him with just anyone. Alexis pays extra attention to prevent this, which is especially important as he is a resource guarder, so once he gets something it is very hard to get it from him and I definitely don't want him eating things that could be harmful to him. I trust Alexis to help keep him safe. She has been very helpful to me during times when I was injured and recovering from surgery and could not walk Bailey myself as well as when I was on vacation and needed someone to walk him while my friend staying with him was at work. On top of it all, Alexis shows Bailey lots of love and he gets very excited when she comes, giving lots of hugs and kisses! I highly recommend Alexis! She has been great for my very lovable, very good, but a bit difficult big boy!!

I highly recommend Alexis for pet care. She has taken care of my cat when I've been away on trips for 6 years now. I have been very happy with her care - as has my cat. Alexis actually takes the time to brush and pet her when she visits, not just clean the litter box and give her food. Above & Beyond Pet Services is wonderful. I transitioned my King Charles Cavalier to dog walks about 12 months ago from doggie daycare as I realized he preferred the one on one attention. Sophia has been his primary walker for several months now. She is very attentive to Asher and will always mention in her notes if she notices anything out of the ordinary. I met her and she is very kind and caring. I know that Asher is in good hands and that she is able to adjust to his needs each day which differ based on my schedule with him and if we walked the prior night or earlier in the morning. I know that he looks forward to spending time with her whether they walk or play depending on his needs for the day I know she is giving him lots of love and attention. I get nervous about leaving my cats for trips, but the daily email updates A&B sends with photos of the cats and the services they're doing really puts my mind at ease. We first contacted Matt and Jennifer when our senior dog, Sonny, was experiencing separation anxiety during the day, and subsequently disturbing our neighbors with his ongoing barking. We thought it might be good to get him out and about, and Matt was up to the task of taking him for daily walks. He adapted to walking Sonny, who was blind and deaf. He gave him lots of love and treats, and without judgement, kindly tolerated Sonny's stubbornness and mindless pacing around the driveway. He also miraculously won over our cat, Mario, who's a bit moody. He and Jennifer offered their support as Sonny aged. After about a year together, at the age of 15, Sonny was diagnosed with cancer, and Matt and Jennifer offered endless resources, sent us daily updates, and connected us to an amazing palliative care veterinarian and animal acupuncturist. At the end, when walking grew difficult for Sonny, Matt would come and visit, and still administered his pain medication. Deluxe Pet Care will not let you down, and they will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Jennifer at Deluxe Pet Care is amazing. We have an older cat with a number of health issues, who needs several daily medications and subcutaneous fluids every other day... far beyond what we’d feel comfortable asking a friend or neighbor to handle while we’re away. Jennifer has the training and background to handle everything smoothly, and we feel our pets are in great hands with her. She spends time with our cats when she visits; it’s much more than just a quick in/out feeding. And she sends us periodic updates with photos of our cats having a great time playing with her and getting silly on catnip. Jennifer has also been great with our turtle, who has also had some additional health needs recently. She is responsible, communicative, and deeply cares about the well-being of the critters she’s caring for. I highly recommend her!
Jennifer from Deluxe Pet Care is just what her business name implies...Deluxe!! Jennifer took care of our two cats, one with diabetes, for over a year while we lived in the Boston area. The cats immediately took to her and did extremely well under her care. Our diabetic cat requires insulin injections every 12 hours and Jennifer maintained his schedule perfectly, which is no small task! Our cats are part of our family and we are extremely protective over them, but we never had to worry at all when she was taking care of them. She is very knowledgeable and is great about communicating as needed. I would highly recommend Jennifer for all of your pet sitting needs. She is smart, professional, caring, and clearly loves her job.

She is so attentive & caring & honestly I credit her in part for the fact that one of my dogs is now almost 19 years old! Jennifer is wonderful. She takes incredible care of my Sunny and Kisa and is like family to them. Sunny can be a bit grumpy and has to have three medications a day day. Jennifer isn't daunted and always comes with a positive attitude and so much love and care. I am a bit of a nervous cat Mom, but when Jennifer is available to visit Sunny and Kisa I can relax as I know that they are in the best hands. She is always calm, and as interested in their well being and happiness as I am. I am so lucky to have Deluxe Pet Care and Jennifer in my life! (PS Sunny is sitting right next to me while I write this review and he approves!)

When I lived in Fenway I used to use Rover for all my pet sitting needs. But it was a pricy service and I had to do a lot of research and vetting when choosing someone who would look after our small dog. I moved to Brighton during the pandemic and have since relied on Happy Pet Care for all our walking and sitting needs. Mary, the owner is extremely good at communicating. She is quick to schedule us in even the night before (so sorry Mary). We set up autopay so I don't have to worry about the hassle and with fixed rates every time I know exactly what the cost will be upfront as opposed to Rover which can charge me different rates depending on who is working. Happy Pet Care did increase their prices during the end of the pandemic to adjust for the rise in cost of living. I appreciated the transparency about the cost increase and the sensitivity with which it was communicated to me. I would also like to personally recommend Debra, who has cared for our dog multiple times. I feel that everyone at Happy Pet Care gets to know my dog, and seeing the same people get to know her makes me feel secure that she is in good hands and that she can recognize who is caring for her without the added stress of meeting a stranger. Happy Pet Care is a great small business that we can rely on. I have been recommending their services to new dog owners in the area and I would certainly recommend them to you.
I needed a dog walker in Brighton for our new rescue and came across glowing reviews for Happy Pet Care. They are professional, super flexible, and really care about your pet. Mary is very easy to work with and very responsive. Our first meeting was with Jen and she was great with our dog and asked all the right questions. Sean was our main dog walker and he was so caring with our dog - she is 12 years old and he never got annoyed with how slow she needed to walk. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of quality care you get. We will greatly miss their services in the suburbs!
We've been using Happy Pet Care for dog walks 2-3 times per week since we adopted our lab mix puppy (now over a year ago). Mary is always so responsive, kind and flexible - which is so important when you have a dog. There have been multiple occasions where we need to switch days, length of walks, or add on an additional walk. Mary has almost always been able to accommodate us! Our walker is mostly either Sophia, Jen, or Mary herself. My pup can be nervous around new people when her humans aren't around, and they have all been wonderfully patient with our pup. Thanks for helping us care for our fur baby! Updated review: It has now been 2.5 years using Happy Pet Care. We could not ask for a better, more reliable, patient, understanding, and kind dog walking service. We've had Mary, Sophia, Jen, Matt, and Debra walk our pup - and they've all been great. Mary is always very responsive, and easy to work with, even with last minute changes. Additionally, her prices have not gone up, while other services we use for our pup have. The dog walks are high quality with a great price, and a lot of flexibility (because life happens). We're sad that our pup won't have them for her mid day walks while we're at work after we move.

I spent two weeks out of town and Lisa from Happy Pet Care came by my apartment twice a day to look after my rabbit, Auggie. I've never left my bun alone for a such a long time and was initially anxious about the separation, but Lisa was wonderful in every way. First, she had previous experience caring for her own rabbit, which was important to me because rabbits are nonverbal creatures and require someone who is familiar with their signs of illness or distress. Second, she sent sweet text and photos updates of Auggie twice a day, and it was apparent that he was both happy and comfortable in her care. Third, Lisa went above and beyond in caring for my bun--she weathered fierce storms to check on him, doted on him with his favorite salad greens, arranged a last-minute emergency visit when my flight home was delayed, and showered him with so much affection that not once did I worry about Auggie during the two weeks that I was gone. Can't recommend Happy Pet Care enough, and Ms. Lisa especially! She's my go-to gal from here on out whenever I'm heading out of town.
We have been using Happy Pet Care for about two years now and we could not be happier with the thoughtful, thorough care they have provided for our two dogs and two cats over this time. We have relied on Mary and her staff for individual walks, taxis, and cat sitting. We simply would not be able to manage our lives without Happy Pet Care. Mary is wonderfully responsive and always works hard to accommodate our requests, even when we have to make them at the last minute due to unforeseen changes. Mary's staff, particularly Jen and Renee, have always been nothing short of amazing. Renee in particular always goes so far above and beyond, and she treats all our pets like they were her own. We consider ourselves and our pets to be very lucky to have connected with Mary and her staff.
Our golden retriever Chloe has been with Tail Trekkers for 7+ years. Kim is absolutely amazing - with a real gift and passion for caring for pets. She is devoted to the pets she takes care of - taking them on walks to the Fells and around Cambridge. She is reliable, thoughtful, punctual, and responsive. This is care that is far beyond what one would receive through a typical dog walking service. You can see the pictures on Kim's website of how happy the dogs are (our Chloe is the red golden retriever pictured in many of the photos). Kim cares about stimulating and developing the pets in her care. There is also a nice camaraderie among the dogs - and the customer service and responsiveness is excellent. Kim has also provided boarding services for Chloe - and is always responsive, reliable, and I know that Chloe is in good hands when we are out of town. Chloe is an incredibly happy dog - who receives lots of exercise and love when we are at work - due to the outstanding care that Kim and Tail Trekkers provide. I cannot recommend Tail Trekkers highly enough!
We feel so lucky to have found Kim! Our puppy Georgie is skittish and likes to stick close to me. After a couple of outings she completely bonded to Kim and now rushes down the stairs to greet her when Kim arrives. Plus Georgie is energetic and thrives on the long outings. KIm runs a very professional operation- we rely on her to help us juggle the work week and she is extremely dependable and responsive. Highly recommend!
Kim treats my little girl - Abigail - like her own dog. Kim makes sure Abigail gets plenty of exercise while still paying attention to the needs of her breed and size. Kim is always on time, accommodating of last minute requests, and Abigail absolutely adores her! I trust no one more than I trust Kim when it comes to walking and boarding Abigail.
Kim has been walking our rambunctious, now three year old keeshond for about 2 years, 5 days a week. Kim has been extremely patient with him despite his high energy and eagerness to tussle with other dogs. She is also incredibly reliable - I don't think she's been out sick even once the whole time we've known her. We've also used Kim for boarding and think she did a great job with that too. We'd highly recommend her to anybody looking for somebody who will provide reliable and caring service.
Kim is more than just a dog walker! She cares for our dog — who can be difficult in more ways than one — so genuinely. He gets to go on such great adventures with her and the dog crew, always getting fresh air and extensive exercise during all four of our New England seasons. We don’t know what we would do without Kim. Highly recommend!

Kim is wonderful! We had never used a dog walking service before and my dog is a therapy dog so I was really worried about having to be without her. Kim is a dog whisperer!!! Our "sensitive and anxious" Cavapoo took to her gentle quiet authoritative manner immediately and he is always very excited to see her (despite his long history of not wanting to go for walks!) He comes back tired out and Kim was so wonderful about easing him in and acclimating him. And we feel great knowing he had a group playtime, socializing with other dogs and getting to run around rather than just being walked around our streets. Thank you Kim!

We had such an amazing experience with Kassandra’s pet care. She watched our 1 year old puppy for a week while we traveled outside the country . She was very responsive and sent us multiple daily updates with photos & videos! Our puppy had a lot of energy and Kassandra’s close proximity to a large park was perfect. We have been using Kassandra’s services for several years now to help take care of our cat Izzy when we are out of town. She is fantastic and super reliable! She comes to our apartment to give her food and fresh water, and keeps her company for a while since she’s alone in the house all day. We’re very picky with our cat sitters as our Izzy is very shy and has some eating restrictions, and Izzy loves when Kassandra comes to visit! She sends us lots of photos and videos of Izzy coming to the door to greet her purring and asking for pets, or snuggled up on her lap looking happy as can be. Her daily updates help us feel at ease knowing Izzy is being so well cared for while we are away. I would recommend Kassandra to anybody looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter!
I can’t recommend Kassandra enough! She is friendly, helpful and reliable, and always takes fantastic care of my cat when I’m away, including sending text updates with videos each time she visits. She is very responsive and flexible with scheduling visits as well, which makes traveling much easier. It’s been great to find a cat sitter who is so dependable and who I can tell really cares for the animals she is taking care of. I can’t recommend Kassandra enough for the all important job of providing care to your beloved pets! She is incredibly committed, thorough, and absolutely adored by our two cats. Before our first trip away, she came over to meet the cats and become familiar with their environment. Each day she texted us brief recaps of her two visits and sent photos and videos of our happy and healthy boys. Any pet who will be out of their owner’s care for a period of time will be very happy to have Kassandra visit until their human gets home!

Kassandra was our dog walker for many years and our dog LOVED her!!! Daisydoo couldn't contain herself any time Kassandra came to pick her up and would even try and get into a car that looked like hers!!! Kassandra was incredibly dependable and reliable and rarely took time off without giving us plenty of advance notice to make other arrangements when need be. She was also very accommodating to any changes in our schedule and would often help us out last minute when an emergency arose. The only reason we stopped seeing Kassandra was because we moved too far way otherwise we would still be using her on a regular basis. She's the best!
Christine has been in the pet services business for many years. She is a great care-giver to her pets and pets needs. We've been bringing our dog there for many years and her and her staff are above the normal pet care services. Their type of service is that they watch over the dogs to be sure that they are all safe and cared for during their time there. What service would pick up your dog in the morning and drop off early afternoon and the pets can stay in or go outside during that time; it's better than your dog sitting home for hours and finding not so great surprises when you arrive home. I highly recommend her services for exceptional pet care.
I have sent my dog to Happy Tails for ten years and I cannot speak highly enough of Christine and her team. I had a dog with special needs. She was dog aggressive which made boarding and play group very difficult. When other businesses were not able to take my dog, Christine bent over backward to help us make boarding work. We will send all of our dogs to Happy Tails. Christine is a lover of all animals and it is such a relief to send your dog to a home away from home, where they are treated with love and care. I have been using Happy Tails for 16 years. Happy Tails has been with me from when I adopted my rescue yellow lab (who passed away) to my two new dogs. I was a single busy professional when I met Christine and now I am a wife/mom with two kids and still a busy professional. Christine and her team have been the reason why I am able to have such wonderful dogs as part of my family. I spoke with her before adopting my first dog and knew that I had the care I needed for when life got hectic. Happy Tails has always been there to take exceptional care of my dogs. I trust them fully and my dogs have always flourished in their care. One of my rescue dogs, Chase, came to me very nervous. Christine came to my house, built a relationship with Chase and made sure he got special treatment (he even got to sit in the front seat) when going to daycare. I often have to call them last minute because of changes to my schedule and they always accommodate. They also have in-home boarding with pick up and drop off from your home, which makes travel so much easier. I know my dogs are safe and happy with Happy Tails. My Dog Serge is 16 years old. I had him for 2- 3 years before I found somewhere that would care for him as we do. Everywhere I went was awful. The smells, atmosphere and staff made me and Serge want to run. Then I found Christine and Happy Tails 👍😎💖. That was 12 years ago. I can’t describe the comfort, joy and satisfaction myself, Serge and others have experienced with the dedication and loving care our pets get there. I have referred Family friends and coworkers overwhelmingly and they have had the same experience. Earlier this year I came home to a house that had no heat or hot water, called Happy Tails and Christine came to the rescue. I was able to focus on a major heating problem in the comfort of knowing that Serge was warm and well cared for 😇. If not for Christine and her dedicated staff I could never leave Serge. Happy Tails, Christine and her staff are amazing. .
I couldn't imagine owning a dog without Happytails. For several years, they have provided playgroup, boarding, transportation, and advice for me, my old beagles, and now my puppy Irish Setter. They are quick to respond, flexible with scheduling, affordably priced, and most importantly everything they do makes me feel like my dogs are safe in their hands. My dogs are always happy when they get picked up and happy when they get dropped off, so I know the dogs enjoy Happytails too.
We've been sending our dog here for nearly 4 years now twice a week for play dates and on occasion for overnights. Christine and her crew are amazing with out little girl, she has separation anxiety and since becoming a regular with Happy Tails she has stopped being destructive and plays well with other dogs now. Highly recommend for any dog.

Had our dog bordered here while away on a 6 day vacation. Returned home and our dog was dropped off. She had a very large wound that needed immediate medical attention. No note/message/communication from the business about our pet's health, behavior, or well being. Business claimed ignorance. Vet said wound was at least 2 days old. Business did pay for the vet bill. We are no longer doing business with Happy Tails.
We have trusted the owner with four of our dogs over 10 years. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, transparent, and cares more than any other business about your babies. Always accommodating and responsive.
Christine and her staff our awesome have left our dogs overnight here and they go to daycare both my dogs Max and Minnie love it. Highly recommend great place.
I personally wouldn't trust anyone with my animals besides Stephanie and the staff at LLP. I first became a client 5 years ago. I had a very reactive dog, who was very difficult to walk with other dogs around. Stephanie personally took on my dog, worked with her and even introduced amazing behavioral adjustments. I now have two cats whom I also have under Stephanie's care when I go out of town! I have never had anything but an amazing experience with LLP. I personally think some people forget that LLP, Is a small women owned business. This is not a corporation that is going to send you an automated message as soon as you reach out. Stephanie personally responds to everyone and truly cares about the needs of your animals. One time I even had her watch my dog over the Christmas Holiday, She personally bought a stocking filled with doggy toys for Sable (my dog). And upon my return I even had a Christmas card in the mailbox from her with pictures of all the animals she services and a personalized framed photo of my dog for me! The service you receive under LLP for your animals is truly top notch and I have NEVER received this level of care and love with any other company! Thank YOU, LLP for all you do for our fur babies!!!
We used Lucky Lucy Pets for about a month before discovering unexpected charges on our first invoice. When I raised the concern, the owner told me it was my responsibility to have asked about these charges in advance, and the day after I raised concerns the company neglected our dog. Details follow. We have worked with two dog walking companies (as well as other services requiring access to our home), and have never been charged for picking up our house key. It was not until our first invoice, a month+ into using Lucky Lucy services, that we found we'd been charged $24 for the initial meeting and key pick up AND another $24 for a meeting we were offered about 1.5 weeks later, when a new walker was assigned to our dog (we declined a walk on both visits). (Note that the new assigned walker was incredible and someone we would absolutely hire outside of Lucky Lucy). If they want to charge for this time, that would have been fine, but they did not inform us beforehand nor give us the option of incurring the charge. When I emailed the owner, Stephanie, to inquire about the charges, she took zero accountability for the lack of communication about the fees, and she was immediately rude. Among other things, she told me it was my responsibility to ask and that “We can only communicate so much and default to our clients to ask questions of things they are not aware of the answer to.” Why would a client think to ask if a company will charge money for a brief service that facilitates them to do their job? She also indicated I was wasting her time with back-and-forth emails to try to resolve the issue. The implication was that my time is not valuable, but hers is. After several emails and a lot of unnecessary attitude, she ultimately reimbursed only one of the two unexpected charges. Because she blamed me and offered no indication that she would try communicate better going forward, we could not stay with the company. I asked how much notice they require to cancel walks, and after multiple emails of more unnecessary rudeness, she finally answered that they require no notice. I then cancelled walks, in their online portal, after a two week grace period, which seemed only fair to the wonderful person who had been walking our dog. The next day, in the late afternoon, at the office, I logged into the system to see if our dog had been walked. To my surprise, the remaining walks that I had very clearly intentionally left on the schedule had been cancelled by Stephanie/the company, with no communication to let us know. This was incredibly unprofessional and amounts to animal neglect. Because we were not told his walks had been cancelled, and he was left indoors and alone in our house for 10 hours as a result. When I called (no answer) and emailed to inquire about the cancelled walks, thinking it was a mistake on their part, I, again, got no apologies. Instead, Stephanie came at me again with the client-blaming, trying to imply that I had indicated, in the previous day's exchange, that I wanted to immediately discontinue our walks. However, nowhere in our email exchange did I say that, and nowhere in her communication with me did she say they would be cancelling our walks on their end. My husband re-read the emails and confirmed this. I had hoped the response would be remorse and a promise to immediately go and relieve our dog. This is about as unprofessional as a dog walking company can get, and really worrisome that they have so little concern for the well-being of the dogs who've been under their care. I am sure she will respond to this review with deflecting of blame, as is clearly her style. The other negative reviews here all point to her character flaws, as well. Do not put your pets or your money in her trust. We know other dog walking companies in the area take customer service seriously--I encourage you to find them. Also note that my other Google reviews have all been positive to date. In this case, I feel compelled to help others avoid the awful experience we (and our dog) had.
Lucky Lucy's is amazing! When I reached out to Stephanie for an initial consultation for my cat Lucy, she responded and was able to set up an appointment fairly quickly. We agreed to work together and the cat care she and her team provided periodically when I had overnight trips was outstanding. Then, we decided to adopt a sweet puppy and realized we immediately needed some help walking our new baby while we were away. Stephanie and her team were happy to work with us and she assigned us to Greg to care for our puppy. That was almost a year ago and he has been a consistent, reliable dog walker who our puppy has come to trust and love, which means we trust and care for him too. It's not easy to have to leave a fur baby with someone else, but Greg made us feel comfortable and at ease and he feels like an extended part of our family. I highly recommend Lucky Lucy's Pet Care. Stephanie employs reliable, dedicated staff and if Greg is assigned to work with you and your pet, you are super lucky. We are moving soon and won't be able to work with him anymore and we will miss him dearly. Thank you, Greg and Stephanie, for everything!!!
We got a puppy at the end of September so it's barely been 2 months- but Lucky Lucy's Pets have been taking care of my pup 2x a day 3x a week and I couldn't be happier with their dedication to the job. You can tell Stephanie is passionate about her business, but she also employs wonderful people. We've never actually met our dog-walker, but every time I see one of my neighbors I learn that they've seen her, met her, and love her. Prices are very reasonable. Check them out.
I booked Lucky Lucy's for pet care this week, as I'm traveling out of town for work. The owner (Stephanie) confirmed care for my dog, and has now gone dark - and is not responding to my emails for drop off, etc. I'm scrambling trying to find new care on Rover.com and patching together care with the help of generous neighbors and friends before my flight tomorrow. Good times! Stephanie has been really unresponsive in general. Go elsewhere!
Stephanie, the owner of LLP, has been amazing the entire time we have worked with them! She responds to text and emails and has really helped me find dog sitter or walking coverage even at the last minute. All the dog walkers and sitters we have worked with through LLP have been great. Our dog can be a lot to handle and everyone really takes the time to make sure he is well cared for and enjoys his exercise. They also help with our scheduling and text us before they arrive and return from walks. They give updates with pictures and descriptions for each walk or each day of dog sitting. Lucky Lucy’s Pets has been an amazing service and I am so lucky that I have them as a resource!
We've been using Lucky Lucy's Pets for walking and in-home dog sitting for about a year now, and we could not be happier! Our dogs are not exactly normal and need a little special care and attention, and we had trouble with other app-based services; we really needed someone who could learn their mannerisms and predict trouble before it occurs. That's the special service you get from a small local company! Chip gives our dog a super long walk twice a week, and I have never seen the dog happier. We had lots of trouble traveling before and now we have someone who we trust to stay at our home and handle our dog responsibly. Lucky Lucy's is a small company with dedicated employees that love what they do. I regularly recommend them to others in the area!
I highly recommend using Lucky Lucy’s for your pet care needs. Stephanie and her coworkers have taken care of my two cats various times over the past year as I regularly leave town for short stints (1 week - 3 weeks). Stephanie is very easily accessible through email and responds very quickly; she confirms your trip a week or so before so that you can be sure your pets are on her schedule (especially reassuring when you have scheduled visits several months in advance); and whoever visits the pets always sends cute updates with photographs. Stephanie also goes above and beyond by sweeping or wiping up kitty messes. My cats are like my children, and being able to leave them in Lucky Lucy’s hands makes the separation much less anxiety-producing.
We have been part of the Lucky Lucy's family for nearly six years. When I say family I mean family. Our dogs are our children and the staff cares for them as if they were their own. I cannot say enough about Jessica who greets my dogs each day with hugs and kisses. I often hear from my neighbors how amazing Jessica is with our dogs, whether she's walking them or hanging out in the yard with our senior dogs, the neighbors can hear how sweet Jessica is speaking to them and how great the dogs respond to her. We had plans to go away for a weekend and I was nervous about someone caring for our dog because he is basically my baby. He also has separation anxiety so I wanted to make sure I found someone reliable who wouldn’t leave him in distress. I am so glad I found Lucky Lucy’s. He boarded in a sitter’s home (Cass) for the weekend and she took great care of him. I got plenty of updates and pictures via text so I did not have to worry. As a bonus he was super tired when we got home from playing all weekend with the other dogs! I will not hesitate to re-book if we need someone to watch our dog again.
Darrell has been absolutely wonderful and accommodating with my hectic schedule! I can tell my pup loves staying with him and is well cared for! I would absolutely recommend their services and am thankful that they have been so welcoming and helpful! Updated review: My dog has now been going to Leash Dog care for almost 2 years and has never had any issues. The team are attentive, always updating me with pictures, and my dog clearly has a wonderful time. On top of that they work around my schedule so nicely and are accommodating as well. Michael has done a wonderful dog taking care of our dog Penny for the past 5 years. He provides in home care at his home, as well as walks at our house when needed. Every time, my dog gets so excited to see him. He sends pictures and updates while we are away. We are so fortunate to have such a responsible and kind caretaker for our pup while we are away.
Mike has been my pet sitter for 5 years and has provided consistently excellent service the whole time. He visits my furry friends when I am out of town and provides them with fresh food and milk daily. He also sends me a little video of them each day! When I have needed help with extra things (bringing in packages, watering plants), he has done those things as well. He is reliable, kind, and very good with animals. My little guys love him. Mike has also done great with improvising to handle unexpected situations (e.g. I was out of town longer than expected and hadn't left extra pet food). I trust him fully. I have high standards for pet care and Mike exceeds them every time. I recommend him without reservation - as do my pets!
Mike has been walking my dog for about 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier with him. He is flexible, and reliable. When I can't be home to walk my dog, I don't worry because I know I can depend on Mike. After each walk he will always send me an update on how the walk went. I have been working with Michael and Marcia for close to 2 years and I can't emphasis how much I appreciate them. We LOVE Happy Dog! When we moved to Belmont 6 years ago, I was very worried about finding a reliable & trustworthy person, that also loved our high maintenance frenchie who would care for her during the work week. Michael came to my house to meet our dog, and I seriously grilled him (we joke about this now). Thankfully, I didn’t scare Michael away & he agreed to take care of our Birkin GiGi. The bond that Birkin has with Marcia & Michael melts my heart. One of the highlights of my day is checking Happy Dog’s facebook posts, cannot get enough of the adorable dog photos. My dog is sick often, Marcia and Michael text to check in on Birkin. Marcia & Michael always make sure to stock everyone’s favorite treats! It’s easy to see that this is not just a job for them, they truly LOVE the animals that they care for. I cannot recommend Happy Dog enough!
Mike and Marcia have taken care of both of our dogs, since 2006. They take our current dog, Lucy, on daily walks, which includes some socialization with other dogs - a big deal, since our dog is very much an only child. And we also board Lucy overnight with them, sometimes for weekends and occasionally when we take long trips away. They even helped us when our previous dog recovered from surgery, and provided appropriate and loving care during a lengthy recovery. We trust them completely and do not hesitate to recommend them.
I have known Mike for over a decade. I have entrusted him to care for two beloved chocolate labradors, both rescue dogs. The key word is trust. I trust him implicitly that he will do the right thing for my pets in any given situation. This trust is earned and based on years of integrity, dependability, professionalism, empathy, and compassion. When we got to the stage of caring for a 100lb geriatric dog, Mike stepped up and helped us get through various canine health issues that many times were not trivial. It would have been impossible to have provided quality end of life care without Mike. Mike can “read” dogs and will make good decisions about how the dog is doing and what will work or not work in a given situation. My current labrador is very sweet but has triggers that can lead to bad behavior. Shortly after getting her Mike helped me figure out her triggers and what situations were doable and what was a no go for her. Mike has taken care of my dogs at my house during travel. The last trip, within an hour of him arriving he sent me a picture of my puppy belly up on the couch wanting belly rubs from Mike. She loves and trust him. That is everything to me. I highly recommend Mike and HappyDog.
Mike and Marcia are the absolute BEST! They have been taking care of my dog, Mali, for her whole life-she's now 15-and have made a huge difference in her quality of life. They are responsive, caring, flexible, and responsible. The BEST dogwalkers, dogsitters in the area! I highly recommend them.
