There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to talk about how much I love this service. Wendy has been looking after our cats for years. She comes to the house every day, checks around to make sure everything looks good, feeds the cats, scoops their box, feeds the fish, and then spends 20 minutes or so giving the cats cuddles (and we know she does, because we have ring cameras, so we know when she arrives/leaves). She also brings in our mail and notifies us if anything on the property is amiss. Oh! And she sends us a detailed note with pictures every single day. Seriously, Wendy gives us so much peace of mind, which is worth the cost in and of itself, but she also deeply cares about the animals she’s looking after. I’d honestly recommend the service to everyone and anyone!!

Wendy and team have been taking care of our pups for nearly all of the 24 years Purrfect Pet sitting has been in business. I never have to worry about the dogs being well taken care of when we are gone. I love the great pics that they send so we can see their smiling faces and wagging tails.

These folks are terrific. We have used them four times already and are very comfortable leaving our three dogs in their care. They treat the dogs like their own pets. They are very good about taking care of the particular needs of each dog (one of our dogs is older and arthritic). The dogs are very comfortable with them. Communication is great. They leave detailed notes after each visit. The house is clean and they even bring in the mail and paper for us. We'd have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

I have taken multiple obedience classes (with multiple dogs) and am on my second therapy dog class. Charlene not only knows what she's doing, she trains on how you may better train your dog to suit his/her personality. Very effective, I trained my small dog (5.5 lbs) over 5 years ago and when I worked with her the other day, she remembered at least 90% of what she had learned in the class (hadn't done a lot of it in at least 4). Highly recommend Charlene for any type of dog training or behavior issue training.

Charlene runs an excellent training program. We started our male german shepherd with her when he was about 10 weeks old, hes now almost 9 months and the difference is amazing. Even though he is still a puppy (90lbs), he listens to the commands you work on in and outside of the class. The key is using the skills and techniques Charlene teaches in the class throughout your week while outside of class to cement your dogs learning. When my 90lb land shark gets excited and does circles around the coffee table at 60mph I can get him to stop in his tracks and lay down using the techniques we were taught in class, it really is amazing and keeps your sanity in check with a big puppy. We plan to keep taking every class thats available to us at Taize, its worth every dollar.

Brought my rescue beagle to Charlene 3 years ago. He has very bad resource guarding issues and she told us since he was 9 years old he couldn’t be fixed but we have to learn to adapt to him. It was amazing what she taught us and anytime he got into any food or garbage he wasn’t supposed to her method kept my family safe and him safe as well. Highly recommended!

Charlene Marchand has approximately 45 years of experience in training, breeding and showing Dogs at the highest levels. She has won many titles on her own and in conjunction with others, as well as training numerous dogs in various disciplines while at the same time establishing open communications between owners and their dogs. She is especially known for showing numerous Champion German Shepherds and for her expert advice. I cannot stress enough that her judgment and council are greatly valued by many people. I can attest that she has helped me on a number of occasions and that her advice is based on her many years of experience. She is very well read and it is my understanding that others within her immediate family are Veterinarians. Having retired after careers as a New York City Police Officer and as an Attorney, and having owned nine German Shepherds and one Doberman, I cheerfully endorse Ms. Marchand for any endeavor involving any kind of dog, especially German Shepherds!!! In addition, I would be remiss if I were not to mention that Ms. Marchand is the Chairperson of the Board for the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/ASPCA and in that capacity she has successfully taken every measure possible to build that entity into the success it is today. Moreover, her tireless efforts as a member of German Shepherd Rescue, as well as to find good homes for both canine and non-canine pets, are very remarkable indeed!!! For these and numerous other reasons, I highly recommend this skillful, experienced, and dedicated Lady to everyone.

Been going to Charlene's classes with Fionn since he was 10 weeks old. He loves it. And we have been well trained.

You would be hard pressed to find a dog trainer that understands what's going on in your dog's mind and what you need to do to make dog and owner happy!!

My dogs have been going to Must Love Pawz for 13 years now (since before it changed ownership and was rebranded.) We daycare during the week and sometimes even on a busy Saturday, board a handful of times each year and love their add-on services like baths/nails, one on one sessions (especially in the pool in warmer months). There’s no question the ownership makes sure that every employee truly “must love pawz” and the hello hugs and goodbye belly rubs they give my pup every time she arrives and leaves are a testament to the love my dog feels with them. The daycare package deals they offer are very reasonable and worth purchasing as they come at a significant discount. I also highly recommend upgrading to a room for boarding especially with larger dogs and if you’re going to have a long board and your pup is used to getting all the snugs at home adding on a cuddle session or two during your stay. Forever grateful for this place, their people and services!

I am so pleased with the care my dog receives at MLP. My boy used to struggle with meeting new dogs, didn't have good recall, and begged at the table. Since going to MLP he now initiates play with new dogs, can walk/hike off leash, and lays in place while we eat. He has learned manners and uses them daily. He dances in the back sit as we get closer to daycare and runs straight to the door. After daycare he is tired out from all the scents, barking, playing, and stimulation. He is a new dog and I feel safe leaving him there. I am grateful to the staff who greet him every morning, loves him all day, and say meaningful goodbyes in the evening.

An amazing doggy daycare with caring and well trained staff!! My 19-week-old GSD, Link, always runs out of the car and to the door in excitement so he can play with all his friends, and he always comes home happy and tired! I also love that they have a treadmill that they can train the dogs on, because I was planning on buying a treadmill for a while, so this was a great head start to see if Link liked treadmills before buying one! The previous daycare I had him at felt so unwelcoming and "money first" focused, but here I have had staff give helpful, positive reinforcement tips on Link's training, and have been very warm and friendly to both of us! They also have puppy-focused care that allows the puppies to have more frequent potty breaks and naps, which I haven't seen any daycares nearby that offer that! This place has a lot of love and heart for dogs, so if you're looking for a doggy daycare, this is the place!

Boarded here a four times over two years for work travel. Last time I dropped my pups off was around 8 months ago. Employees immediately remembered them. This last time I ordered a bath for one of my pups who (first time no one knew) didn't like the dryer, and stressed chewed through their collar. When I picked them up they immediately went above and beyond and offered to comp the cost of the collar. Offering to refund cost for damage my dog did on their own collar while doing a service I asked for, Blew my mind. This place is crazy awesome. Excluding this one event there have been others that have proven to me they really care. Forget five stars. 10/5

My English Bulldog boards and occasionally attends the doggy daycare for the past few years, and each experience is simply amazing to both me and my pup. I have become more and more impressed with the service each year. Having an English Bulldog there are constant issues, and whenever something has occurred the staff at Cody's has gone above and beyond to take care of him. The staff is flexible and I can honestly say, when I go to pick up my dog- he never wants to leave just yet. He loves Cody's Cozy Pals, the staff unconditionally loves him, and I can completely trust the business with him- I am totally grateful for that. I highly recommend using Cody's Cozy Pals- between boarding, doggy daycare or even receiving a bath- you and your pet will be extremely satisfied. This is the place to take your pet and know that they will be safe and loved just how you love them.

I've been bringing my two dogs here for daycare and the occasional boarding for 4 years now and they absolutely love it! The staff are always friendly and greet us at the door. You can tell they really love animals because they greet the dogs before the humans! The clincher for me was when I brought my 4 year old and my 5 month old (at the time) puppy. One staff member told me the puppy may benefit from coming to daycare on her own without her sister for a while because they had become somewhat dependent on each other. My older girl loved having a quiet day away from the pup and the puppy had the chance to socialize with all sorts of other doggies. It just shows that Cody's puts the well being of the dogs above making an extra buck! They very easily could have kept collecting money for having both dogs there but they recognized what was best for the overall wellness of both dogs and acted accordingly! Amazing! I completely trust Cody's Cozy Pals with my pups. I've tried other places in the area and these guys go above and beyond. They offer extras like pool time during the summer (my girls LOVE the water), treadmill time (my puppy needs extra tiring out and practice concentrating on tasks), grooming, training (both obedience and agility), and holiday pictures. The holiday pictures are my absolute favorite because who doesn't love their pups dressed up in ridiculous costumes posed in front of a themed background? I wouldn't bring them anywhere else!! The level of care Cody's provides is unmatched!!

Great with my dogs !! They require pets to be dropped off for a day, no charge, to meet and greet before boarding. So when my dogs returned for their actual stay, they were comfortable and ready to play! great staff!! Very affordable ! Highly recommend

We've used Cody's services for taking care of our dogs for more than 8 years. We started before her formal day care center existed and she would care our dog at her home. She is a true animal lover and has always taken wonderful care of our pets. She made special consideration for our older dog when we used to take him to her facility, who is is very anxious outside our home, and her staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would easily recommend Cody to anyone looking for someone to take care of their day care needs.

I can’t say enough good things. I needed to board my cats just for the day. I called and Emily accommodated this request despite not usually doing this type of boarding. She could have charged more for something like and charged me less. Drop off was a breeze. Pick up was a bit more difficult as one of my cats did not want to get out of the cat condo she’d tucked herself away into. I felt so terrible and both Emily and the staff were so understanding and patient. Emily even came back to help get her out. And she did!!! She’s magical. I can’t recommend Love Us and Leave Us enough. Bring your cats or dogs!!! They’re so friendly and amazing. I’m blown away.

The place is outstanding . They know how to treat the pets under their care and are extremely professional and foster trust through their communication with the pet parents and the care of our pets. LULU has been amazing in helping our dog assimilate into the LULU community. He comes home happy and fulfilled from a day of socializing. Every staff interaction has been an exceptional. Highly recommend.

We are so blessed to have a boarding, day care, grooming facility like Lulus in the area. Our Moose man frequents Lulus pften and we have always had a great experience- just saying "Lulu's" perks his head up and causes him to run for our door. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and took amazing care of him when he fell sick while we were away. I can't recommend them enough!

Highly recommended! Axel who is almost has been attending since he was a puppy. His daycare days are his favorite days of the week. The staff is amazing! The care and love to the dogs provided is exceptional! We get to go on vacation knowing he’s safe and happy. Can’t imagine using any other pet care for our dog.

My dog is always excited when we pull into the driveway at LULU! It’s her home away from home! She enjoys her daycare days, and she is one happy and tired pup after. Anytime I’ve needed to board her, I know she is in good hands at LULU. The staff are so kind and friendly. You can tell they love all the animals! They have helped me so much with training and socializing my pup!

If I could give 10 starts I would. I have a boxer LunaJane. Such a sweet heart but she was so high strung and I didn't know what to do and I was not enjoying my time with her at all( I was so close to saying good-bye...it really was that bad!!!!) A friend mentioned LULU and I decided to try it. They saved us, She started going twice a week and it is just what we needed. After years she began to get cranky and they had no choice but to ask me to stop bringing her, this was for the safety of the other dogs and I respected that. I couldn't be mad because Renee & Paul didn't just give up, they reached out to me and offered to take her on off lead hikes with some other dogs. The picked up & dropped off without interrupting my schedule at work. Luna loved it and it was amazing but unfortunately the transportation broke and hikes were no longer. At this point Luna was getting older so we were OK. I now take my 3 year old boxer Ruben Jay to LULU and he loves it there. They focus on socialization with the utmost safety and I never have to worry about my Ruben. They truly love what they do. This business while some think its a luxury is one of the best things I have done for my dogs. LULU from your dogs perspective is a night out with friends and fun...We deserve this and so do they!!!!! If your worried about their safety...don't. They are always around, watching, playing, interacting and taking lots of fun pictures of your babies. Who doesn't love to see their favorite fur babies become Facebook famous. I have trusted LULU staff with my beautiful babies and I urge you to do the same. Plus Ruben is looking for some new friends!!!!

Our pup has been going since he was 4 months old and loves every minute of his daycare days. We love how it has made him a friendly dog with other pups, plus the staff makes you feel comfortable leaving your baby with them. I couldn’t ask for a better place to bring my dog to.

Met James when Sasha was 9 weeks old and the advice he gave, from simple things to things I would not have thought to do have made all the difference in the dog she now is at 17 weeks from where she was at at 9 weeks being the runt and almost 2 lbs underweight. Happy to report that she was 26 lbs at her 16 week checkup and her weight is in line with her smaller height. Can't be more grateful for the knowledge that was given to me 2 months ago! *UPDATE* At 6 months and much due to the nutritional advice James gave us 4 months ago, Sasha went from 3 lbs underweight to being 50 lbs. Can't be any more pleased!

I can't say enough great things about this facility! James designed a shortened (1 week) training class for our dog last October, and his work with her was amazing! After detailed explanations from James, we were able to learn how to keep up with the training and adapted pretty quickly to everything. Here we are almost a year later, and it's a breeze! He has been very helpful along the way as well. We've also boarded our dog with James 4 times since the training, and he treats her like one of his own. She loves going to see him! I highly recommend to anyone in search of any sort of dog training!

My 6 month old cattle dog mix, Milo, suddenly became aggressive and reactive to people. I had worked with the local pet store trainer and they weren't able to help me curve the problem. When I called James I immediately felt confident that he would be able to help us. James met me at the house and taught me how to bridge the communication gap between us and assisted with determining some basic rules and boundaries in the house. While its only been 5 weeks, I am seeing a huge positive switch. Milo is now a completely different dog - he can meet people, he's more calm in the house and is SMILING for the first time! Bonus is that I am feeling much more confident in our relationship and feel better knowing I was able to get the help Milo needed. If I could give James 10 stars, I would. This has significantly helped me create a great foundation with Milo for years to come.

James is a dog trainer par excellence. My family was looking for a trainer for our nearly 2-year old German Shepherd, Radar, who’s received minimal and ineffective training up to now. After contacting a number of trainers, I felt confident and comfortable after speaking on the phone with James and arranged to enroll Radar in boot camp. James carefully went over the program and paperwork with us when we drove up to drop Radar off. We were immediately impressed by the bucolic setting, with a full dog run set up outside the training facility. The grounds were spotless and you would have never known that a group of eight dogs had just graduated. We were shown where Radar would sleep, the exercise equipment he would be using, reviewed his feeding schedule and were reassured that he would be fine. We picked Radar up yesterday and consider James to be a Miracle Worker for canines. Radar demonstrated all the behaviors we were told he would learn. He bulked up and looks more healthy and handsome than ever. You could tell that, in addition to skilled training, he received a lot of love and affection from James. James painstakingly went over his helpful printouts with commands and other instructions and then we then worked with Radar under James’ supervision. We can recommend James’ services without any hesitation.

James is AMAZING! We recently adopted an adorable 8-9 month old golden retriever/chow mix rescue puppy. In spite of an immediate bonding, her behaviors were very difficult for us to manage. She had been described by her foster mom as "a little dog with a big personality". James rescued us all! He taught us how to communicate with our Callie in a way that clearly establishes what we need and expect in a loving yet effective manner. He came to us for two hours on the first visit, at the end of which Callie was watching for our clues, and responding beautifully. Life is peaceful and fun. She is now a happy, well adjusted little dog while we are grateful and better educated owners. James developed a rapport with Callie almost immediately. He is a gentle, in control trainer. His knowledge and experience working with dogs and their people is extensive and well documented. Our second time with James was at his facility. Callie fairly flew out of the car to greet him. It was as if she was as thankful for his help as we are. We would recommend James to anyone experiencing difficulty with their dog regardless of breed, problem or length of time together. He can help!

Sienna spent 8 weeks at James' facility attending the boot camp. She, a rescued, fearful, insecure big cane corso, needed all the help there was to offer. James not only thought her the obedience part of the training. He was able to install in Sienna a confidence that she was lacking. He helped me to understand my dog's problems and "trained" me how to communicate with her. I wasn't a confident dog owner. Thanks to James, I am. My impression is that James "tailors" the training to the pet as much as to the pet's owner. I would recommend James' services without any hesitation!

I went to James 4 years ago after being told by another trainer my dog was too stubborn and James was able to correct all of the issues I was having with my then ~1 year old pittie within 1 session. He sent me home with detailed notes and all was well. We have recently moved and have encountered some behavioral issues regarding the next door neighbors barking dog. James was able to correct the behavior instantly. James was super responsive with my current issue and helped immediately. I highly recommend James and his training!

Highly recommended!! My dog Cooper and I have a much better relationship since going thru the training courses. Cooper had a good personality when I got him, but was stubborn and a somewhat uncontrollable. He now can run around free off leash and knows all his commands. He gets along much better with the other pets in our house and is just much more of a pleasure. James is a very personable, easy to talk to person, who is very good at what he does. I would recommend it to anyone looking for dog training.

We highly recommend Empire K-9. Both our Great Pyrenees attended doggy boot camp and boarding. Our boy Great Pyrenee was displaying aggressive behavior and bit my husband a couple of times. He weighs 130 pounds. At the time, there were a lot of changes in the household and I was undergoing chemo treatment. He has never bitten me. Due to size, we were desperate to minimize this issue immediately and were concerned if he could possibly bite other people and our biggest fear is biting a child. We had seen trainers and dog behaviorist who recommended Prozac. This was not the route we wanted to take. I searched locations in NYC and spoke to many on the phone. James's method made sense and his attention to details and listening to our situation made me realize he was the trainer for us. In addition, the facilities are clean and our dogs came back happy (if not, happier). Most importantly, they came back listening to commands and James taught my husband how to handle difficult situations that may arise. What he did in 3 months surpasses dog training session we had over a course of 6 months in NYC. His method actually works! We can't thank him enough.

Excellent experience with Empire K-9 inc located in Nassau NY. Our recently adopted dog Bruno, a 75 lb Doberman, completed his 4weeks of "privates" class and we couldn't be happier. Follow up sessions reinforce the owner's responsibilities and the continued support is extremely beneficial to both owner and dog. James is exceptional, super knowledgeable and patient. I cannot say enough amazing things about the Henry Loves Betty team! Over the last 3-4 years, we’ve utilized just about every service they offer- daycare, training, dog walks, grooming, boarding and social club (a genius feature). Our little corgi has been going to Henry Loves Betty since she was about a year old and she feels safe, is always exceedingly well cared for and I know they are sneaking in training sessions because she is so polite, responsive and social. We’ve moved 2 hours away and still try to bring our dog for grooming, boarding and daycare a few times a month. This team truly cares deeply for your pet and with our busy schedules we our so grateful that they are responsive and really work to help us manage our schedules without compromising quality of care for our fur baby. Social club has helped make Peach a braver pup and explore more! I love seeing her play in puddles, and become less adverse to water and rain because she’s had outdoor adventure fun with other dogs. Also, the community of pet parents and owners are so wonderful! Doggy birthdays, celebrating wins and just saying hi and asking about your pets when they see them. Love this place. They really care for your pups and enrich them. Cannot recommend daycare enough and their grooming is perfection. Our puppy comes back from daycare more obedient and tired.

Aislinn has been grooming our mini goldendoodle since he’s been a puppy and always does a fantastic job! She really cares and is so patient. Would highly recommend!

I've trusted Aislinn to groom my two dogs for over two years. She handles them with love and care as if they were her own. They leave happy and clean, smelling yummy and adorned in a new bandana. I am able to drop them off at their appointment time and pick them up right after they are finished so I don't have to leave them all day.

Our dog has never left a groom happier! We have a excitable and sometimes nervous Bernese Mountain Dog and Aislinn does a great job with him every time.

Henry Loves Betty has been a lifesaver since getting my dog Keene as a puppy last March. I can’t imagine going through the potty training stage without the help of their puppy program and daily walks. Now that he’s a bit older, I love sending him to daycare or social club to help keep him entertained and well socialized. They always give such thorough updates and I love getting pictures of Keene while I’m at work. I was SO happy to hear when they started offering dog grooming. Being that Keene is a doodle, I knew I’d need to find a trustworthy and reliable groomer for him to see regularly. Keene started first with a few puppy trims to get him comfortable with being groomed and handled, and then transitioned into getting full, adult cuts. My favorite thing about their grooming is that it’s only Aislinn and your dog there when they’re getting groomed. This not only allows for less distractions that could overwhelmed an uncomfortable dog, but means that Aislinn’s full attention is on your dog. Keene and I have both had such positive experiences with her grooming—with him being so excited to see her and “hangout”, and me always being impressed with how great he looks after. Overall, the whole staff is phenomenal at HLB! They are all so knowledgeable and truly treat your dog with so much love. If you’re considering using any of HLB’s services, I highly recommend—you will not be disappointed!!

Nothing but wonderful praise for Paula and the loving care and attention she always gives to Zoey when she’s boarding! I used to worry about Zoey being stuck in a kennel for days on end with no exercise, love and attention. Not anymore! This is the best doggy daycare place ever. We love the owner and all the staff so much. They truly treat all the pups with love and care, and go above and beyond on everything! The daycare facility is always well kept and clean. Our dog loves going to daycare so much that when we are going towards the direction of Troy she starts being impatient. They post videos and photos of the pack playing almost daily on their Instagram story which is super cute and amazing. They also offer boarding service that's very reasonably priced. We were worried about boarding our dog at first because she had bad experiences with boarding before, but she absolutely loves boarding with HLB. Paula would even pick up our dog to board and drop her off which is super convenient for us. We receive daily updates and photos of her as well. We've recommended Henry loves Betty to many people because this is a truly wonderful place for dogs to hang out with each other.

We bring our dog all the way from Saratoga to get groomed by Aislinn. No matter the condition of his hair, she always has him looking perfect and exactly the way we want it every single time, all in a very timely manner! I will never bring my dog anywhere else as long as I live around here and she is still grooming! The shop is in a perfect location. Although being in the heart of Troy, there is never any issue with parking. There are plenty of places to eat, relax, shop, etc all in walking distance while your dog is getting groomed. If you’re in need of a groomer, especially if they are some sort of doodle, this is the spot!

We recently moved to Troy and needed drop-in service for our cats. Henry Loves Betty is the best local choice for us. The prices are about the same as private sitters, but the service is more professional. It's also reassuring to know that if a sitter has an emergency and can't make it, they will find someone who can. The sitter was excellent. We received an update with photos every visit. I will use them again.

Our dog Hazel stayed here back in May and Dawn was great, the place is clean and catered to Hazel's needs. Hazel is a rescue (I notice a previous review from Eddie L which is completely false), she's a Husky German Shepard mix and is very energetic as well as being an escape artist, Dawn was able to take this into consideration and provide ample boarding and stimulation for her. We also got her groomed here so as well as being greatly taken care of she also came out smelling and looking amazing! I wouldn't take Hazel anywhere but here! Edit: Wanted to also add that I was initially nervous about boarding Hazel as it was the first time I had to and Dawn would send me daily updates on how she was getting on which I really appreciated.

Kala enjoys her stays at Creekside. She runs right past me to go visit her friends. Not even a bye from her. Being nervous parents we appreciate the texts and pics that we receive from Dawn. I know that she is having a blast because when we pick her up after her stay she is exhausted and sleeps all the way home. Happy four legged child and happy parents. Thanks Dawn

I am a huge fan of Creekside Kennel. I have boarded my dog Bella there several times over the last two years. She is a Shiba Inu. It's clear she is loved there. Every visit Bella excitedly jumps out of my car and runs to the kennel. Also, Dawn is very knowledgeable about dogs & always shares valuable information about Bella and her breed. I always have Bella bathed during her stays. They do a spectacular job grooming her and she leaves looking beautiful!

3 letters….WOW! Dawn is amazing with her handling of my 2 boys, Jonah & Jordan. My boys have high energy and when leaving Dawn, they are exhausted beyond belief!! I have added “Dawn’s Camp” to my vocabulary, which motivates my boys to respond to my commands!!!!!

We are from out town and had never left our puppy at a kennel so I wasn't sure what to expect. When we arrived at out appointed time the owner met us and showed us the facilities . The set up is great with individual grassy run -outs side by side with other dogs. The dogs could interact with each other but not get at each other thru the chain link fence. When we drove back in we could see another kennel worker sitting with our pup petting him. I was impressed with the set up ,the cleanliness ,and friendly staff. Wish Creekside kennel was 11 hours closer. We would use them all the time.

A friend of ours recommended Creekside Kennels when our usual boarding place was booked. Dawn was quick to get back to me, she was friendly and very interested in learning all about our pups and their needs. We have used them twice in the last few months and are beyond pleased with their care and attention to detail! Highly recommend!

My entire experience with Dawn at Creekside Kennels was fantastic! I brought my cat there and she was quick to check us in because he was stressed from the car ride. She provided him with a special bed, high quality food and lots of attention. He's never come home from "camp" so happy before. He's been talking our ears off and being especially affectionate. Thanks, Dawn for all you do! I would highly recommend Creekside Kennels.

Both of my rescues do so well at Creekside! Each of my dogs have their own quirks that make staying at an average boarding facility unrealistic. Dawn is so good with the dogs and the facility is such an amazing set up. It is so difficult to not only find a facility that will board behavioral dogs but also a facility where you can truly trust your dog is getting the best care. The staff at Creekside are so incredible. Without a doubt, bring your dog here if you are lucky enough to get a spot! They have high demand! Nothing but good things to say about Dawn and staff at Creekside!!

Contacted to book dog for overnight stay. No phone contacts just emails. Didn't know all was set til several messages left. Today we attempted to drop off dog and leave for vacation. Lost trying to find kennel, called owner only to get answer machine. Found kennel, only to see kennel gate closed. Waited 15 - 20 minutes for owner to respond when we might be able leave dog. Finally Owner response was rude, not accommodating, saying we would have to wait til 445 or tomorrow! We had to cancel our Boston reservation with no where to leave our dog. It seems dogs are left unattended from 9am to 4 or 5 pm during day, at this kennel. We were surprised by owner response to help us in the face of a mistake in finding kennel or having a problem that day... Not a good business practice

Staff is so friendly, thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable! We were informed by Dawn that our pup Kiwi’s knee clicks when massaged - something she found during the groom that we had never noticed. We mentioned it to the vet who diagnosed Kiwi with “luxated patellas” - the joints didn’t form properly, in Kiwi’s case, a genetic defect. She’s now on a joint supplement and it will be monitored. This level of care and compassion is priceless!!!! We will most certainly bring Kiwi back for more fun 💗🐾

They can only keep your foster pet alive.I fostered my rabbit for a few days, and I was very sad to see him when I came back. I believe he has had a very bad few days. The difference is obvious in the picture. He has lost a lot of weight and his eyes are desperate. He used to come to me in bed, but now he is even afraid of people. I tried to attract him with his favorite food, but he totally ignored me. There are obvious tears in his eyes. I have every reason to believe that he has experienced abuse. If you love your pets, don't bring them here.Again, never, ever keep a pet here. They should be ordered to close down.

Amazing! I was in a pinch with my golden doodle who was much overdue for a haircut as his previous groomer is on leave. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and got my baby boy in asap. Due to the matting he had and his temperament with previous groomers i had low expectations for how he might look. His hair is shorter than ever and he looks amazing. Nothing but good things to say about this place and their people! Thank you pet stop!!

The fact that they can take my guinea pigs is why my rating is as high as it is. The smell is a bit overwhelming, the smell is so strong it clings to my pet carriers, the pricing is okay. I’d say if you’re in a pinch and need to board your pet/pets, go here. If you can pay more and they take your pet, go elsewhere.

Since I was new to the area, I decided to check this place out. I have to agree with lack of customer service and putrid smell when you walk in. I came in with my Chihuahua, noting I just moved to the area, needed a new groomer and boarding as I travel. Miles began to bark naturally so I put him down to ease his anxiety. The young staff mbr seemed friendly, even tried to greet my pet. - no one was a the front when I walked in - However, the owner appeared very standoffish. "So, what's your question?". I guess I was too friendly or, talking too much. But the vibe I got was off. Hard pass... Mind you, I hadn't received a service yet 🐾✂️ trust your gut ✨️

Horrible experience dogs were not taken outside, except for twice a day peeing poop all over the ground inside their kennel. Every time I came to visit I do not recommend this place at all. Horrible, smell, rude customer service, and my dogs leashes and collars came back, broke and was never refunded my dogs are supposed to be there two weeks. Let’s just say they were there 4 days.

This is a wonderful and affordable place to have your pet taken care of. I board my dog here and it's convenient for friends and family and dog walkers to visit him. Terry the owner has been a staple in East Greenbush for 20+ years. We are blessed to have this place.

Had my dog for three days while we were away from home, but when I picked up she smelled very bad. It was so bad and strong smell of urine and dog litter. When I called this place and spoke to the owner she said that our dog was kept in a large kennel but she confirmed that there were other male (unneutered dog) that were close to my dog and had some accidents. This place is not the place where you want to board your dog. I would not recommend Pet Stop to anyone needing of boarding service for their pet.

They do not abuse animals, don't believe those reviews. Great staff and great to animals. Have gotten ALL my rats and supplies there. Super friendly and helpful. They take great care of all of their animals. It's very clean and yes it smells like animals because... they're a pet store...

Owner is completely caring about animals. When we had three dogs, then two, and now only have our Yorkie, she's cared for them when we needed boarding and always orders the products we use so they will be ready when we pick them up. Also, her new store is great!
