I have so many great things to say about this sit. First, the "star of the show" ...a super adorable and gentle giant, Bella. She has my heart, and I will be thinking of the sweet girl for a while. Bella was a bit slow to warm up to me (understandably) but then after a few hours she was very affectionate and attached. She is independent and easy to care for. Despite her size, she is easy to walk and obedient. The upscale neighborhood is quite and inviting. Livermore is a beautiful town and has so much going on...everything from a ton of wineries to seasonal festivals and fun restaurants and bars. A hidden gem. There are many great outdoor options within walking distance from the house to take Bella for outings. She loves being out and is a joy to be with. She takes everything in and is so thoughtful in her actions. Corrine and Stephen are very warm and welcoming hosts. Good, solid people who clearly care very much for Bella. They provided comprehensive information about Bella and their home...and also amazing home-grown tomatoes and zucchini bread. They are responsive and appreciative of communication. It is clear from my stay that Bella is very much loved and lives in an home that was made comfortable for her and her safety. Finally, Corinne and Stephen's home is clean, comfortable, large and inviting as well as a physical representation of how much they care for Bella. The chef's kitchen and out door oasis (including a heated pool and hot tub) are just an added bonus to the love, trust and acceptance you will feel from Bella. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone looking for a wine country or Americana adventure with a big mush of an obedient, loving and beautiful fur baby.
We had a wonderful stay in Santa Fe taking care of Dory and Luna . The pups are so sweet and easy going . We loved our walks in neighborhood surrounded by mountains with the pups . Theresa left detailed instructions for us and the dogs are easy to care for. The house is beautiful with lots of outdoor space and a lovely guest bedroom with en-suite. We feel so lucky to care for your pets and home . Thank you !
This was my first sit and it couldn't have been any better. Mia and Sophie were wonderful and Tarryn was super easy to communicate with before, during and after the sit. Tarryn went out of her way to provide me with traveling info and to make me comfortable in her home. The home is convenient to transit and there is a beautiful park right next door. The dogs were easy to care for and loved snuggling. Fantastic!
We had a wonderful time getting to know Juno. She was a very sweet dog and had lots of personality. However she doesn't like other dogs but walking her she was fine. We walked her where no other dogs were and when the dog park was empty we let her play there for awhile. She loves to be next to you on the couch and she will sleep with you. Janet's apartment was nice and comfortable. It was convenient to everything and a very short ride to the train if you wanted to go in the city. If we are in the Chicago area we would love to watch Juno again. Janet was super communicative as well which was helpful. Thank you again for letting us pet sit for you.
I had a great time sitting Chips & Salsa. They are adorable and friendly kitties. Salsa is very comfortable around people and loves to cuddle, while Chips is a bit more of a scaredy-cat. They both have tons of energy and love to play. Cameron was very welcoming and laid-back. Communication was easy. Her place is cozy and comfortable and was in a great location, near the subway and so many good take out restaurants!
We had a great time looking after Gus, Hilda and Dumbo. I must admit that, beforehand, we were a bit nervous as they seemed bigger than we expected. But they were so gentle and well-behaved. Nicky and Dan had though about everything we needed and we're great communicators when we were arranging things. To top it all, they live in a beautiful part of the UK and in a lovely house. We thoroughly recommend this sit and would be happy to return.

We are so happy we found Porter Road Pet Care! We just got back from a week trip and sent our 2 year old GSD here. He played with other dogs at his stay there and was sleeping nice and cozy when we picked him up! This place helped me relax on our trip. And I can't wait to send him here again!

Had a great experience boarding my dog here. She is a nervous girl and gets anxiety when I leave. She also needs slow intros with other dogs and the staff were so lovely and accommodated for her needs. They made sure she got attention, ate, and had her meds on time. Her kennel was clean and spacious with an outdoor run. I loved the web cam option so I could see her. When I picked her up she was happy and not as anxious as she’s been when trying other sitting services while I’m away. I will definitely return and highly recommend them!
It was my old boy Prince's first time there. His old groomer said they couldn't groom him anymore because his hind legs give up on him. The wonderful people at Porter Road groomed him, were so kind to him, and said he could come back anytime!
Driving into the property, I knew we found the right place for our dogs and cats. The location is beautiful and it is immediately obvious that the family loves pets. The owner accommodated our needs. We received pics of our dogs on their walk and they looked so happy! Drop off and pick up were efficient. Well worth the trip from Enfield/ East Windsor line.
I cannot say enough good things about porter road pet care and their staff. My Great Dane is a nervous boy but the team here does such a great job with him. Knowing he’s in such great hands eases my own anxiety about being away from him. There’s no one I would trust more with my boy
Had a wonderful experience. My corgi had a 10 day stay while we were on vacation. We were able to watch her on camera and able to call to voice any of the concerns that we had. Everyone was willing to discuss her daily routine and made the extra effort to help her adapt to her temporary stay. When we picked her up on the 10th day she was bathed, smelled wonderful and looked very happy and excited to see us. If you are nervous about leaving your fury family member ...don't be... they will be just fine!

My 2yr and 4 yr old Papillons loved the grooming. They were lavished with love, professionally trimmed the Papillon trim. Their fur is bright white and silky smooth. Paws, nails trimmed.... they look wonderful. I usually groom them....I will be going to Porter Rd pet care from now on!! Thankyou!!!!

Maya loves when her friend Giuseppe comes to take her for a walk. He's great with her. He has the experience to handle my enthusiastic, energetic dog and was truly a great help while I was recovering from my knee surgery.
Would absolutely suggest Guiseppe for anybody looking for pet care. He watched two cats and a dog over a long weekend away, and they couldn't have been happier. If you need a reliable and relatable sitter or walker, this is your guy.
Giuseppe is a true professional! He communicates so well about each walk, sharing photos and updates. Our dog was hesitant about going out with a new dog walker and Giuseppe was patient and worked with him to make sure he'd be comfortable. Now our pup is so excited to see him in the morning that he waits by the door for him. I'm very grateful we connected with such a trustworthy walker. I highly recommend him and hope he's in business for years to come.
Giuseppe did the greatest job taking care of our dog and two cats when we went out of town for a few days - he went above and beyond just looking after them, and really treated them as his own pets. He also sent along lots of pictures, which we definitely appreciated! Five stars isn’t enough. Would recommend.

I love this place! The staff are friendly, fun and knowledgeable and clearly love the pets. The place is multi-faceted, clean and welcoming. The rates and options are flexible. I no longer worry at all about my girl while she is there. She tends to be a bit anxious but she runs in that door right over to her best friend Bree (hope the spelling is right) and comes home relaxed and happy.
I have had nothing but good experiences at," The Good Dog Spot" in Northampton, Massachusetts. My young dog, Henry, was initially enrolled in puppy daycare until he graduated into the adult group. He goes there twice a week to interact with other dogs as well as people. As a result, despite the fact that he is only a little over 1 and 1/2 years old at this time, people are amazed at how calm and gentle he is. He does not act like an undisciplined puppy. He acts like a confident, well-mannered, extremely well socialized adult dog. I recently had to go on a trip which lasted a week. I boarded my young dog as well as a 17-year-old senior dog with dementia. I also boarded two 10-year-old cats. The staff was wonderful interacting with all of my animals and emailed me daily reports as to their health from snout to tail! Three of my animals were on daily medications and they administered them without any difficulty. They also reported that medications were given and also how their appetites were. Based on the aforementioned experiences, I would highly recommend," The Good Dog Spot" not only as a place to socialize your dog, but as a wonderful place with highly trained staff if daycare or boarding is needed.
I used to bring my dog here frequently. This summer I left my small miniature dachshund at the Northampton location for the weekend. When I picked her up, she was clearly not taken care of. She was covered in her own urine and feces. Not only that but all her bedding and blankets were given back to me covered in the same urine and feces. When I asked about what happened the staff were incredibly dismissive with one of the men there saying in a very annoyed tone of voice “seems like it’s pretty evident she peed.” I will never leave my furry friend here again. I still never got an explanation other than the manager I talked to after trying to talk in circles around the point.
The Good Dog Spot has been incredible and far surpassed my expectations! Our puppy was enrolled in the Spot's Tots program where they did all sorts of training and exercises with him to help him become a well acclimated young man. He quickly graduated to the program for older dogs, and had a great first day. The prices are reasonable for the level of care that is given. I would happily recommend The Good Dog Spot to anyone!
Boarded my cats here for just over a week and was very happy with the experience! I got daily reports of how they were doing, which helped with any anxiety about leaving them at a new place. The staff is also very responsive and made it easy for me to pay ahead of time and have a friend pick my pets up. My cats came home very happy which tells me they had a good experience at the Good Dog Spot. It feels good to find a place that I can trust with my cats, and I already have plans to board them here again!
I had my dog kiya groomed here and as a first time customer here I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Kiya had a shed treatment and a full groom and she looks fabulous! She wasn't on edge at all, just a happy puppy when she came out! Thank you guys so much! Will DEFINITELY be back!

Received expensive, mediocre hair cut for my small dog along with a “report card” upon pick up, which told me he earned a B grade. Sooooo… are you hoping I train him up for next time so he can earn an A? Or are you just reporting to me that he was a handful and your groomer wasn’t trained or experienced enough to comfortably handle him?
The Good Dog Spot was recommended to me for boarding for my puppy Wilbur. And they are fantastic. They are thoughtful and thorough when accommodating your dogs needs. When I came to pick him up the next day he was in no rush to leave The Good Dog Spot…so I think it’s safe to say your dog or pup will be in good hands with them. They offer an extensive list of packages and services at great prices. Highly recommend!!
My dog, Dickens, has been going to Camp K9 for 5 years. He usually goes to camp one day a week. He loves sleepovers. I can watch him in his cabin. Ali and Sean and the team love dogs. They are the best!!!

Camp K9 is amazing. When I went to check out the place I wanted to see if they were clean, friendly, knew what they were doing because my dog cant just go anywhere, they are so on top of there game its amazing. My dog LOVES it there she runs to the car to go there. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel like your part of the family and you know they truly care about your dog. Its so convenient for me also with my schedule being a Realtor it changes daily so I call see if they have an opening and she's there for the day playing with her friends. THANK YOU CAMP K9

Camp K-9 is absolutely a 5 across the board! Our timid weimaraner was a little nervous for her first day of camp and sleepover. The staff was absolutely fantastic introducing her to the other pups and getting her to step up her confidence a bit. The facility was spotless, organized and very well kept. I was so happy to know our dog was having just as much fun on "vacation" as we were! Thank you to everyone at Camp K-9!
