The only down side about having George and Larissa and their wonderful children stay in your home and look after your beloved pets is that you are on holiday and don't get to spend time with them! They are AMAZING! From the minute they arrived (we had a half hour cross over) we felt completely confident and relaxed about leaving. We received daily photos and updates on our lively labrador, careful and considerate questions about taking care of our home (all houses have their quirks and its difficult to leave precise instructions about everything), stories and anecdotes about our dog and what she was doing and how she was interacting with the children (I believe there were tears when they left); and in addition to regular Trusted Houseitting duties the family also looked after our Airbnb and interacted with our guests and looked after them perfectly - all of our guests left 5* reviews and all mentioned Larissa and George as their 'wonderful hosts'. When we got home everything was exactly as we left it plus some extra goodies had been left for us to help us settled in after a long flight. This is a family who are stepping out into the world and doing 'life' in what many would consider a non-conventional way - but that means they are very experienced travellers, quick to hit the ground running when they arrive and 100% adorable. Don't hesitate - say yes!
Raffi was awesome and man, let me tell you about Khistuk. Khistuk is a prolific gold hunter. If you let her guide you on her walks she will help bring amazing people in to your life. I love her so much and she loves to cuddle, like ALL THE TIME. I hope our paths cross for a longer period of time next time 🥰
Was such an amazing experience taking care of Hopper and his cozy home! Very smart and affectionate border collie, he learned a new trick 'lay down' after only 2 days. He loves attention but is also happy to be in his bed relaxing by himself, easy to bring for walks on and off the lead, great sense of direction and cautious to keep you in his sight. Justine and the family are lovely, welcoming and helpful. The house is very modern, spacious and comfortable with everything you need to be keep warm and entertained, overall great energy in this home, love the decour and layout. Sitting at Johnny and Annies was a lovely experience . The home is in a beautiful area in old town Alexandria . They were very easy going , leaving us clear instructions and ready to help us with all our needs . Their animals are AMAZING ! The dogs Ramen and Popcorn are the sweetest souls , well trained , and super cuddly. We totally fell in love with them . The cats Pickles and Whiskers were also amazing always interacting with us . We already miss the four furries. Anyone who loves animals i would totally reccommend this sit . Thanks Johnny and Annie for trusting us .
What a terrific pet sit! Sarah & Karsten were the perfect hosts from the initial meetup to my departure. I was supplied with what I needed to know and communication was excellent, even though there were no issues. Henry & Squeak are friendly and adorable and no trouble at all! They love being around you. Their home is a typical Paris apartment in the most fantastic neighbourhood. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Transportation to get anywhere in Paris was great, though I pretty much walked everywhere... It's Paris after all. I highly recommend pet sitting for Sarah & Karsten if you get a chance. I know I'd love to come back! Thanks Sarah & Karsten for giving me this opportunity to rediscover my love of Paris!
What a wonderful time we had with beautiful dogs in a relaxing environment! We couldn't have asked for more. Doggies were so happy with their walks over the fields from the house as well as ball throwing games in the garden. Hosts were just so welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely dinner on the evening we arrived. The dogs are so well behaved and have such lovely characters. We would have no hesitation in returning here and we're just sad we cannot accommodate the requested dates. Snap this sit up if you see it before us!!!
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Lyra. She is the most well behaved pet I have house sat for. She is playful, spontaneous, loving, and a very kind dog. She gets along with humans, dogs, cats and children. I felt extremely comfortable taking her almost everywhere with me. She requires lots of exercise, which was not a problem for me. She loves to cuddle and will follow you around if you are taking care of her.
