Fran and Paul were wonderful hosts. Kind, thoughtful, and generous. I loved taking care of all the pets. They all had unique personalities (even the fish). Getting to know them and their hilarious quirks was lots of fun. Cuddling with Mouse on the terrace was a highlight. The house is beautiful and somewhat famous for being la Casa de las Tetas. It’s in a plaza on the center of the old quarter, an ideal location in a beautiful neighborhood. There wasn’t a whole lot to do in Baza, but the pets kept me entertained, and I recommend checking out the Arab baths and getting some sushi. A great place to stay if you want to get out of the touristy cities and cuddle with some sweet animals
Dear Jen and Jan, thank you for a fantastic weekend in your beautiful light-filled home on the hill, with views over the lake of Geneva into the snow covered mountains, glorious sunsets and a whirlpool sauna under the star-filled night sky. But the best part was being with Penny, she made us laugh with her utter attention to food, or presenting us with her favorite stuffed animal from her toy box, or simply hanging out with us in the sun. We took long walks with her, her nose always to the ground, analyzing all the scents and clues left on earlier tracks - Sherlock would be envious. She is simply a pleasure to be with. We are so happy to have a chance to return in April and take care of Penny again. I am sure we will be in touch before then. All the best Irene
This was a short but pleasant house sit. Buddy the cat slept at the foot of the bed a few times but largely ignored me. It would be nice to explore the Thames Foot Path, Kew Gardens and local attractions but perhaps a bit far for sightseeing in Central London. I "kept the home fires burning" with the gas fire in the lounge. The walled garden would be lovely in season.
We had a lovely time looking after Charlie! He is a beautiful cat who loved company and being brushed! Bryonie and Jesper made us feel so welcome in their lovely home. They gave us lots of great recommendations and tips and the sit had everything we needed. Communication throughout was great. We loved exploring the Friedrichshain area which was easy to get to. We are looking forward to seeing Charlie again on our next sit with him and exploring the local forests and lakes.
We had a lovely stay at Penny and Jamie's beautiful house. Their fur babies were a delight to care for. Penny was exceptional with communication and gave us the opportunity to catch up with our daughter and spend some time relaxing. We look forward to assisting Penny and Jamie in any future house sits.
Alison and Matt welcomed me into their home on arrival, showed me around and gave instructions on feeding their two Chow Chows. Mochi and Chai were delighful to look after both with their own quirky personalitys they made me laugh on many occasions! Such beautiful walks all around; every little passageway in Heptonstall leads to another. Just amazing. They have the most amazing view from their back doors and garden just extends to the countryside. I would definitely recommend a sit with these wonderful Chows .
