Claire
Sitting for Claire was one of our favourite sitting experiences.
Before we arrived communication was clear, and instructions were detailed enough to answer any questions we might have had.
Molly is a super-easy to sit for. She's really laidback and happy sleeping most of the day, occasionally getting up to find another place to sleep in :) She loves being stroked and having her hair brushed.
And Claire's house is beautiful - modern, clean, peaceful, quiet. It's in the heart of Wargrave, with country walks straight from the door, and 10 minutes drive to Henley and Twyford for shopping, trains to London, etc.
100% recommend and would happily sit for Claire again.

Rosie, the dog is adorable, she is well mannered, a little bit stubborn during walk as she will pull. Kaye is going to ask to walk Rosie 4/5 times a day and to clean her paws every time, when you come back inside the apartment. The apartment is 15/20 minutes to the subway, the area is ok, but there are many junkies in the waterfront park. Kaye will require a picture every single day ( otherwise she will leave a bad review on your profil )that being said I always send a picture / videos every three days(max), but apparently that wasn’t enough. Also, I was late for our first meeting and Kaye didn’t hesitate to post a review on my profil about it. I was working that day, but I tried my best to be able to meet Rosie 3 days before the pet sitting started (I did many pet sitting without meeting the people beforehand) + the accessibility of transportation in their area isn’t great. It can happen to anyone to be late. I genuinely apologized, but if someone is late isn’t the end of the world, the trafic in New York is bad. Knowing the distance with the subway etc I asked for them to pay my Uber for the first way, as I had a big suitcase. I took care of their dog for 10//11 days, an Uber is nothing compare to the work I have done. She accepted but as soon as the pet sitting was over she posted about it. Once again Rosie is a great dog, but I wouldn’t recommend pet sitting for Kaye.

Peggy and Lisa
Such a great experience with these two older gentlemen! Titus is a stubborn sweetheart of a guy, and Chase is a lover of all he comes across. I really appreciated the list they left and was able to reference it a few times to verify questions. The hosts were easily accessible for my few questions, and have a warm and comfortable home. I hope I'm available the next time they need a sitter!

Sophia and Bo (or “Bo-puppy” as I nicknamed him) are lovely, friendly pets who were easy to care for. Sophia is a friendly cat, very chill and she likes to lay across your lap and be petted. Loves her cuddles! Bo is a friendly dog with the heart of a puppy even though he’s getting on in years. He has a little trouble walking, but you can see the spirit in his eyes…he REALLY loves a good ear scritchin’! He gets meds 2x a day and I didn’t have any trouble with it - hid it in the hot dogs he loves and he gobbled them right up!

Pamela and Arch were very communicative pet parents. We had a zoom ahead of confirming the sit, and then kept in sporadic contact until I arrived. They spent an hour with me going over the details and showing me their home before they left. They did a great job on their Welcome Kit, and very helpfully left a printed copy as well, which was very appreciated - easy reference to recheck details. They also left a map of the property.

Their home is lovely with lots of places both indoors and out to chill - lots of nooks to read or watch tv in. Spare bed(room) is comfortable and the outdoor shower, hot tub and pool are nice pluses. Pamela is an artist so their decor is lovely - very relaxing place to be. The home is in a private area, however also very close to Wimberley which is a great little town to walk around and has all the services you need. Textbook “quaint town”! And of course Austin is a just a short drive. I highly recommend this sit!

This was my first stay with THS and it couldn’t have gone better. Lisa’s flat is lovely and perfectly located to go to the beach (3 minute walk) or into town (about 20 minutes). The bus stop is one minute away if you don’t fancy walking.

Ginger is very cute and funny. He took me for many walks, as he knew his way around the area better than me! We also went into town where he was welcomed in most shops and restaurants. He loves walking so you can be out with him all day! Once home, he just sleeps or plays with Missy. It’s really funny to see them play fight.

The area around Lisa’s flat has lovely shops, cafes and restaurants, but if you want an evening in, Missy and Ginger will cuddle with you on the sofa!

Lisa is a great host and the flat was sparkling clean and super confortable.
