Liz is a friendly and great house/dog sitter! I came home to a clean and tidy place, sheets were stripped and the recycling/trash was taken out. My dog was in a good and relaxed mood when I arrived. Liz took her out on lots of walks and a play date with another dog. I got frequent updates with photos and she was very self sufficient. I appreciated that Liz read the welcome guide and only reached out when she needed to. I would 100% have her back for another stay in the future.
Megan's house is big and beautiful! It's in a nice location, walking distance from restaurants & shops, and a nice big park. She was very communicative, reaching out every day or two during my month-long sit. Unfortunately I did not get to enjoy the deck because it was still being built, but it looked like a lovely place to hang out. Rocket and Fred were lovely company. Rocky is very loving and cuddly. She is happy if she's near you and getting butt scratches, but also very stubborn so you'll know if she doesn't want to do something (like leave the dog park). I also had to get a few different foods for Rocky as she wouldn't eat dog food very easily. We were able to learn a new trick and spent lots of time on walks and at the park down the street :) Fred is a very cool cat. He is a chonky boy who loves attention and pets, but is sensitive about his belly area. He will try to follow you on walks, which is very cute. Rocket will also stop and wait for him if she knows he's coming along. Caring for Megan's home was a bit of work to handle alone, but I definitely recommend it if you are a couple/family traveling together or if you have lots of free time.
The last three weeks was time well spent with three lovely cats; the matriarch, the boy and the shadow (not their real names). It was fun getting to know them. They all enjoy human company and are quite cuddly. Moose (aka shadow), was particularly friendly and playful and followed me about. Sally and Keith have a very comfortable home in a great part of Auckland. Shops, cafes and restaurants are only a few blocks away and its an easy walk to the CBD. It was really good to meet first and go through Sally's instructions re pet and home care. Communication was easy and we were able to tweek plans as necessary. I thoroughly recommend this sit.
Charlie and Luna were very sweet and very easy. The location is right on the border of Ballard and it was a short walk to a supermarket and also plenty of restaurants, breweries/bars, and shops of all kinds.
We absolutely loved our sit with Cali and Cleo. Christina and Ryan explained everything we needed to know and were easily reachable if we had any questions. They were really welcoming and just lovely people. Cali and Cleo are young and energetic and loved their walks - so did we! They interact really well with other people and other dogs. They are very affectionate (especially Cali) and so easy to walk off leash. I would definitely recommend this sit.
We thoroughly enjoyed caring for Scamp and Umber in San Ginesio. After the first day, they were keen to follow us around and showed affection especially when on the couch sharing the evenings with us. Martha and Michael greeted us warmly, and we enjoyed a meal together dining at one of their favourite restaurants. They left us detailed instructions about Scamp and Umbers routines and also detailed recommendations and information about local attractions and restaurants to visit. The area where Martha and Michael's beautiful and comfortable home is situated is very picturesque and we enjoyed touring around and tasting some of the local food and wines. Thank you both for trusting us with your precious family and home and we would love to return and share more cuddles with Scamp and Umber.
I loved staying at Carrie and Dom’s place! They were so inviting and friendly from the get-go. The house is so nice and comfy ? most importantly, the animals are TOTAL SWEETHEARTS. The kitties are so cuddly and the pup is so well behaved. Gorgeous. I loved this sit.
