One of the draws of being a housesitter on this site is experiencing someone's welcoming home while caring for their little creature. I was very thankful that Colleen chose to sit for Pandora in my new not-furnished-at-all condo. Having human company really helped my kitty get adjusted to her new home. Colleen even left extra treats and kitty litter. Thanks Colleen! You are seriously the best.

Teresa and Doug were ideal sitters! They were very involved with our lively 4-year old boxer, taking her for walks, to the beach, and playing with her. Extremely communicative and quick to check in if there was a question about Lola or the house. Teresa and Doug made sure our house was very clean and tidy. They were a pleasure to have in our home and I highly recommend them!

Lori and John were great sitters, they communicated well and were tidy. We were grateful they were able to meet us the day before the stay started since we have a special needs kitty (insulin shots and bg testing req'd). We felt comfortable and confident our kitties were in good hands. We'd have Lori and John sit for us again in a heartbeat.

Jean was absolutely wonderful . She flew in a day early to meet us and spend time with Mookie our Boxer . Jean gave us daily updates and pictures . She walked Mookie and gave him lots of attention and love . Our home was just the way we left it and everything was attended too . Her communication before , during and after our trip was excellent. Jean left a lovely “ Thank You “ card with truffles and homemade cookies . I would highly suggest Jean , as your zeewoi .

This was Bonnie's 2nd pet sit for Scout and she was just as trustworthy and reliable as the 1st time. Bonnie was organized and on top of every need Scout had. If she had a question, she didn't hesitate to contact us. It was great receiving the frequent photos of their activities. She and Peggy took Scout out for walks and exercise frequently. The house was spotless when we returned home. We'd gladly have them come take care of Scout anytime!

Gail and Michael were excellent pet sitters and very lovely people. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our cat and our home in their care. Gail did a great job of keeping us up to date on what we needed to know. We hope to have them return for another stay.

Amanda

We're fairly selective about who we'd let take care of our dog, and Amanda did a great job! She was very reliable and answered messages right away. She checked in with us daily and let us know ahead of time if she had any changes to her schedule, always keeping Trevor's needs as a top priority. That said, she was self-sufficient and we trusted that she would get the job done no matter what. We had a couple of snafus on our trip, and Amanda was very flexible and supportive in helping us solve them, even willing to cut her day short to make sure Trevor got his dinner on time. The house was clean, and Trevor was relaxed and happy when we returned. We would welcome Amanda back any time, even if just for a visit.

Kimberly & Clifton

Kim and her family were marvelous! Willow loved swimming with them, especially Victoria! It was a very quick trip and rather rainy, so not ideal weather for any explorations, but we really appreciated Kim making sure Willy was okay and comfortable during the thunderstorms that passed through.

Valeria and Alan did a great job with Winston, kept in regular contact and even made sure he kept his regular playdate with his best friend, Thomas. Communication was great and they were very accommodating. Thoroughly recommend !

How very lucky we consider ourselves to have discovered Sonia and Benjamin! Nothing was too much trouble for them: our pool maintenance; watering plants; house cleaning; and, most importantly to us, the love and care of our cat, Rasmus! Sonia and Benjamin are wonderful with animals and Rasmus jumped onto Benjamin's lap the moment he arrived (that has never happened before with a new visitor to our home) and Rasmus jumped onto Sonia's lap every time she sat down and he slept on Benjamin's bed. Rasmus is anxious by nature, but we returned home to a very chilled cat! We had total peace of mind whilst travelling overseas.
We can't rate Sonia and Benjamin highly enough and would invite them back to housesit for us without a moment's hesitation! 
Sonia was such a positive and interesting person and she surprised us with a delicious meal one night. When housesitters are as special as Sonia and Benjamin they very quickly become friends as well and we were so sad to say goodbye to them.
