I had a fantastic time with Rosie in Guildford! She is incredibly sweet, and I’m already missing her. Emma and her family were kind and lovely. She put together a very thorough and helpful Welcome Guide, which I referred to often, but was also available via WhatsApp when I had any additional questions/concerns. The house is beautiful and comfortable with an amazing view of the Cathedral at night! They gave me a ride to and from the train station and even let me stay an extra night when we found out the trains weren’t running the day I was set to leave, which was really above and beyond. Rosie needs someone who can stay hyper aware with her on walks, as she will, every once in a while, suddenly try to dart after a squirrel or cat, and/or help herself to an unsavory street snack! I found that aspect fairly easy to manage and was thrilled to hang out with her for the week. She’s a joy to be with; she’s both independent and loves attention. We got along fabulously and I truly miss her! Guildford is a beautiful area (be ready for hills!) and the walk to the bustling high street is about 15 minutes, with a couple small markets for groceries right down the street. I did fine without a car. Many thanks to Emma and the whole family for an absolutely lovely week!
Thank you Georgia for the most amazing time in your home with Bandy, Maggie and Youpi! This was our first time in London and doing petsitting, and we couldn't have imagined a better experience or way to explore the city. Georgia's home is absolutely lovely - beautifully decorated, lots of space, a colourful garden. Georgia was so kind to walk us through everything before she left, and we immediately felt settled and at home. She regularly checked in with us, too, making sure we had everything we needed. The dogs are a delight! Bandy is so cuddly and affectionate; he has to be practically sitting on top of you at all times. We loved it! Youpi was the classic Golden Retriever - lovable, easy going, and gentle natured. They were a pleasure to look after, and so easy to get along with. Maggie, the sweet 17 year old cocker spaniel, was a little trickier because she is blind and deaf, but once we got into a routine, she was no trouble. We developed a real soft spot for her. To sit for Georgia was a complete joy. We would return in a heartbeat if invited!
Great home, lovely couple, super sweet cuddly pets. 🥰🥰 definitely recommend checking Fort Wayne out their downtown is bigger than expected with lots of fun festivals and events! Never would have picked it off the map, but a must-stop along with Indianapolis if you’re in Indiana/looking to visit the Midwest.
We had an amazing experience at Helga and Paul's place! We completely fell in love with them, the animals and the place. Everyone was so welcoming, we made forever friends!
I had a great time sitting for Carolyn and Bobby. They warmly welcomed my wife and dog and made us instantly feel at home. Maggie and Beau are two sweet, loving dogs and my dog had a great time playing with Beau while we were there. Beau is a young dog so he does have a ton of energy. He’s a good match for someone who loves to be active and give plenty of snuggles. The neighborhood is great for walking and Bobby and Carolyn have a great view over the marsh off their back deck. All the neighbors are friendly and we had a ton of lovely conversations with them while out walking the dogs.
Scott and Jackie's lovely home is in a fabulous area with great walks and friendly folks and Ranger is the sweetest boy full of love and sass. My favorite combination! Highly recommend!
